Crystallization and Characterization of a New Fluorescent Molecule Based on Schiff Base  [PDF]

Abstract:


In this analysis, the single crystal of schiff base has been synthesized and the purity of material has been increased by repeated recrystallization process. Single crystal was grown by adopting the method growing in a slow evaporation solution using ethanol as solvent at room temperature. A new fluorescent molecule based on Schiff base has been synthesised and its binding properties investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy to show that it can selectively bind Cu2+ with fluorescence quenching.

Abstract: The title compound, C19H13ClF2N2O3, was prepared by the reaction of (Z)-ethyl 3-amino-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-cyanoacrylate and 2,6-difluorobenzoyl chloride. The dihedral angle between the chlorobenzene and fluorobenzene rings is 37.0 (1)°. The ethyl group is disordered over two positions [occupancies = 0.52 (2):0.48 (2)]. In addition to intramolecular N—H...O and N—H...F hydrogen bonds, the crystal packing shows the molecules to be connected by intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonds.

Abstract: The kilohertz quasi-periodic oscillations (kHz QPOs) have been found in neutron star low mass X-ray binaries (NS-LMXBs), which present the millisecond timing phenomena close to the surface of the compact objects. We briefly summarize the following contents: (1). The correlations and distributions of twin kHz QPOs; (2). The relations of high-low frequency QPOs; (3). The QPO properties of NS Atoll and Z sources; (4). No clear direct correlations between NS spins and QPOs; (5). The mechanisms of kHz QPOs; (6). The implications of kHZ QPOs, e.g., NS mass and radius, disk thickness and magnetic field of Atoll and Z source.

Abstract:
A pair of new anticancer nucleosides based on 1,2,4-triazole nucleosides and 1-((2-hydroxyethoxy) methyl)-5-(phenylthio)-1H-1,2,4-triazole-3-carboxamide have been synthesized, and have given the corresponding products in excellent yields. Its structures and conformations were confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.

Abstract: The title compound, C26H25Cl3N6O4, was prepared by the reaction of (Z)-ethyl 3-amino-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-cyanoacrylate and 4-chloro-3-ethyl-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-5-carbonyl chloride. The dihedral angles between the chlorobenzene and the two pyrazole rings are 59.8 (2) and 33.3 (2)°. The two pyrazole rings are oriented to each other at a dihedral angle of 84.7 (2)°. The crystal packing is governed by intermolecular C—H...O interactions, resulting in a three-dimensional network. The ethyl groups are disordered over two positions, with site-occupancy factors of 0.71/0.29 and 0.51/0.49.

The dihedral angle between the chlorobenzene and fluorobenzene rings is 66.18 (19)°. In addition to an intramolecular N—H...O hydrogen bond, there are intermolecular C—H...O and C—H...N hydrogen bonding interactions, which stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract: Based on the current situation of rural educational informationization, my study found that the boost of rural elementary and secondary school’s educational informationization needed the cooperation of higher normal universities and local education administrative department. The construction of “IT education community” is the key to step off the predicament. The practice application and effect in Gaoping City further proved that the cooperation project broke the bottleneck of rural elementary and secondary school’s educational informationization.

Abstract:
An important anticancer nucleosides intermediate (2R,3S,4S,5R)-2-(acetoxymethyl)-5-(3-bromo-5-(methoxycar-bonyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)tetrahydrofuran-3,4-diyl diacetate was synthesized by directly coupling the bromotriazole with the protected ribose sugar, and have given the corresponding product in moderate yield. Its structure and conformation were confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction.
One possible solution of peculiar type Ia supernovae explosions caused by a charged white dwarf

Abstract: Recent astrophysics observation reveals the existence of some super luminous type Ia supernovae. One natural explanation of such a peculiar phenomenon is to require the progenitor of such a supernova to be a highly super-Chandrasekhar mass white dwarf. Along this line, in this paper, we propose a possible mechanism to explain this phenomenon based on a charged white dwarf. In particular, by choosing suitable new variables and a representative charge distribution, an analytic solution is obtained. The stability issue is also discussed, remarkably, it turns out that the charged white dwarf configuration can be dynamically stable. Moreover, we investigate the general relativistic effects and it is shown that the general relativistic effects can be negligible when the mass of the charged white dwarf is below about $3M_\odot$.
Elementary Mode Analysis for the Rational Design of Efficient Succinate Conversion from Glycerol by Escherichia coli

Abstract: By integrating the restriction of oxygen and redox sensing/regulatory system, elementary mode analysis was used to predict the metabolic potential of glycerol for succinate production by E. coli under either anaerobic or aerobic conditions. It was found that although the theoretical maximum succinate yields under both anaerobic and aerobic conditions are 1.0 mol/mol glycerol, the aerobic condition was considered to be more favorable for succinate production. Although increase of the oxygen concentration would reduce the succinate yield, the calculation suggests that controlling the molar fraction of oxygen to be under 0.65 mol/mol would be beneficial for increasing the succinate productivity. Based on the elementary mode analysis, the rational genetic modification strategies for efficient succinate production under aerobic and anaerobic conditions were obtained, respectively. Overexpressing the phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase or heterogonous pyruvate carboxylase is considered to be the most efficient strategy to increase the succinate yield.
