Phenomenology of $f_0(980)$ photoproduction on the proton at CLAS energies

High Energy Physics - Phenomenology , 2013,
Abstract: In this work we present the results of a theoretical analysis of the data on photoproduction of $f_0(980)$ meson in the laboratory photon energy between 3.0 and 3.8 GeV. A comparison is done to the measurements performed by the CLAS collaboration at JLab accelerator for the exclusive reaction $\gamma p\rightarrow pf_0(980)$. In the analysis the partial S-wave differential cross section is described by a model based on Regge approach with reggeized exchanges and distinct scenarios for the $f_0(980)\rightarrow V\gamma$ coupling are considered. It is shown that such a process can provide information on the resonance structure and production mechanism.
Exclusive glueball production at the LHC

Physics , 2011,
Abstract: In this contribution we summarize recent results on the computation of cross sections for glueball candidates production in quasi-real photon-photon collisions and on central diffraction processes, i.e. double Pomeron exchange, in heavy ion interactions at the LHC are computed. In particular, we provide predictions for the production of exotic mesons f0(1500), f0(1710) and X(1835). The rates for these distinct production channels are compared.

Physics , 2010, DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevC.83.014907
Abstract: The cross sections for the glueball candidates production in quasi-real photon-photon collisions and on central diffraction processes, i.e. double Pomeron exchange, in heavy ion interactions at RHIC and LHC are computed. The rates for these distinct production channels are compared and they may be a fruitful approach to the investigation of glueballs.
Investigating photoproduction of scalar mesons at medium energies

Physics , 2011, DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevC.86.015209
Abstract: In this letter we study the photoproduction of scalar mesons in the intermediate energies considering distinct mixing scenarios in the description of meson physical states. The differential and integrated total cross section are computed for the cases of the mesons a_0(980), f_0(1500) and f_0(1710) focusing the GlueX energy regime with photon energy equal to 9 GeV. Our results indicate that light-quark scalar meson photoproduction is well suited for studying hybrid mesons structure.

Abstract: In this work we present the results of a theoretical analysis of the data on photoproduction of $f_0(980)$ meson in the laboratory photon energy between $3.0$ GeV and $3.8$ GeV. A comparison is done to the measurements performed by the CLAS collaboration at JLab accelerator for the exclusive reaction $\gamma p \to p f_0(980)$. The differential and integrated total cross sections are also computed for the cases of the mesons $f_0(1500)$, and $f_0(1710)$, focusing on the GlueX energy regime with photon energy $E_\gamma = 9$ GeV.
Cuidando de pacientes em fase terminal: a perspectiva de alunos de enfermagem
Sadala, Maria Lúcia Araújo;Silva, Fernanda Machado da;
Revista da Escola de Enfermagem da USP , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0080-62342009000200005
Abstract: the aim of this study is to understand how nursing undergraduates perceive themselves while care delivery to terminal patients and expose the meaning of the experience they have. fourteen students were interviewed, and answered the following question: what is the image you have about caring for a terminal patient? students always consider this to be a painful experience, one that puts them face to face with their weaknesses and insecurities. they attribute their difficulties to their personal incapacity to accept death and to their lack of preparation and their inexperience. they report a lack of support from professionals with whom they share this care. in terms of professional development, for some, the experience was positive, despite the difficulties; others evaluate it as negative, resulting in a rejection of similar situations. further studies on this subject are needed with a view to a deeper and broader reflection on nursing education in brazil.
Rede de rela??es interorganizacionais no campo organizacional de Videira-SC
Machado-da-Silva, Clóvis L.;Coser, Claudia;
Revista de Administra??o Contemporanea , 2006, DOI: 10.1590/S1415-65552006000400002
Abstract: the objective of this article was to verify the interorganizational relationships between forty organizations in the district of videira in santa catarina state from an organizational focus. these organizations interact in a system of agroindustrial production which involves a complex process of economic, political and social structuring in social time and space. the goal was to evaluate the influence of the focal organization, which a priori coordinates agroindustrial production efforts, on the regulative, normative and cognitive institutional structures, which meant analyzing the recurrence and simultaneousness of the isomorphic, coercive, normative and mimetic mechanisms in the organizational field under study. the relationships of cooperation, competition and conflict among the organizations that make up the network under study were evaluated based on the notion of organizational field as a field of power, cognitive structures and socio-cultural significance. the results show different levels and spheres of influence of the focal organization on institutional structures, with implications for the occurrence of isomorphisms in organizations, which highlights the importance of the use of a multiparadigmatic perspective for the understanding and the treatment of the concept of organizational field.
Persistência e mudan?a de temas na estrutura??o do campo científico da estratégia em organiza??es no Brasil

Revista de Administra??o Contemporanea , 2007, DOI: 10.1590/S1415-65552007000400003
Abstract: in this article we seek to verify how the level of structural cohesion of researchers in the field of strategy in brazil conditions the construction of scientific knowledge in this social field. through the analysis of clusters, taken to effect through the use of the network analysis technique, 2,332 articles were evaluated which were published in brazilian periodicals and annals of scientific congress from 1997 to 2005. based on the structurationist perspective of the institutional theory, we examined the role of relations between authors in the persistence and changes in themes over time. we found that the significant growth in the number of papers in the field of strategy was conditioned in terms of themes by the clusters that had been previously formed. we observed a high degree of homogeneity within the clusters even with the occurrence of heterogeneity of themes of research in the field as a whole. this indicates that embeddedness in social groups conditions what is legitimately accepted in the scientific field, implying that there are specific systems of meaning in each cluster, despite the occurrence of a certain level of communality among members of the field. this finding has obvious implications for conversation between different groups of authors.
