O gênero textual: Adapta??o oficial de filme em quadrinhos
Saito,Cláudia Lopes Nascimento;
Revista signos , 2010, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-09342010000300010
Abstract: having the same characteristics of its genre of origin ?the comic books?, official adaptations of films to comics have grown because they present the transposition of movies into printed matter, including the superhero (e.g., spider-man ii) ?the corpus of the present research. based on the theoretical framework of both semiotics (greimas & courtés, 1979) and sociodiscursive interactionism (bronckart, 2003; 2006), this research presents data on the analysis and description of the intersection between verbal and visual languages. one of the conclusions is that ?because this textual genre consists of a narrative system composed by two semiotics acting in syncretical interaction? it finds its main source in the visual language, thus making it an authentic and powerful tool to be studied by everyone who is willing to accomplish didactic transposition (chevellard, 1991).

Having the same characteristics of its genre of origin the comic books , official adaptations of films to comics have grown because they present the transposition of movies into printed matter, including the superhero (e.g., Spider-Man II) the corpus of the present research. Based on the theoretical framework of both semiotics (Greimas & Courtés, 1979) and sociodiscursive interactionism (Bronckart, 2003; 2006), this research presents data on the analysis and description of the intersection between verbal and visual languages. Abstract: in 1999, the report by the institute of medicine (iom), pointed that there are significant adverse events and that more than half of these occurrences were caused by medical errors, provoking numerous actions and research on patient safety. infections related to health care (iras), one of the problems faced in the area, are the subject of research that attempt to create procedures and strategies to prevent such events. hand hygiene, because it is the simplest measure of control in iras and, paradoxically, the one with the lowest compliance rate among physicians, is the target of numerous programs and campaigns. the need to reverse this state has generated extensive literature that, among other things, indicates and identifies barriers and risk factors for poor adherence to standards and procedures for hands hygiene, but also seeks to understand the behavioral aspects concerned. this paper presents some theoretical models aimed at understanding the behavioral dynamics which involves the achievement of error and violation and carries out an analysis with the possibilities of apprehension of the process. finally, it is considered that the explanatory models jointly presented bring contributions that can be applied in practice and that identifying and understanding the mechanisms of collective defense would lead to factors that are at stake in the low adherence to procedures, sanitation of hands among physicians, despite the existing evidence.
Os efeitos de lexicalidade, freqüência e regularidade na leitura de crian?as falantes do português brasileiro

Psicologia: Reflex?o e Crítica , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-79722009000200001
Abstract: this study investigated the effects of lexicality, frequency, regularity, and the interaction of the two latter ones on a reading aloud task conducted with portuguese-speaking children from 3rd and 4th grades. the reaction time (rt) and error percentage scores on reading aloud isolated words and pseudowords were computed. the data analysis revealed the effects of frequency and lexicality on reading aloud, but not the effect of regularity nor the frequency vs. regularity interaction effect. based on these results and on results of other studies, it was hypothesized that the regularity effect exists only at first grades for brazilian portuguese-speaking children. in addition, it was questioned the adequacy of a categorical classification of regularity in the light of a continuum classification.
Dificuldade de intuba??o traqueal em paciente com craniossinostose: relato de caso

Abstract: background and objectives: there are complex forms craniosynostosis, some of them featuring face and airway malformations, which may lead to difficult tracheal intubation (ti). this report aimed at presenting a difficult tracheal intubation case, in a child submitted to surgery for craniosynostosis correction. case report: child with 57 days of age, weighing 3700 g, cephalic perimeter 39 cm, physical status asa ii, with craniosynostosis, retrognathia, macroglossia, bilateral exophthalmus, inspiratory difficulty and mild intercostal retraction. in the supine position with a pad under the shoulders, the patient was pre-oxygenated, 10 mg propofol with 5 mg succinylcholine were injected and laryngoscopy was performed (straight blade number 1) without epiglottis visualization. assisted ventilation was started and four new unsuccessful laryngoscopies attempts were performed. we decided for allowing spontaneous assisted ventilation and a new ti was attempted, also unsuccessful. capnography showed no exhaled co2. with the aid of a fibroscope, trachea was finally intubated, but the tube was too narrow and was replaced by a cuffed one. spo2 was 98% but unstable, sometimes reaching 60%. petco2 showed hypocapnia and irregular curve morphology. auscultation revealed bilateral pulmonary ventilation, but the air was reaching the stomach as well. we suspected of a traumatic tracheal-esophageal fistula. esophageal endoscopy showed that the tube was actually in the esophagus; since the cuff was inflated in the posterior edematous oral cavity, this would prevent air leakage and allow the tidal volume to ventilate stomach and lungs simultaneously. the tube was then properly introduced in the trachea, once again with the aid of the fibroscope, and surgery was performed. conclusions: it is important to distinguish a simple craniosynostosis from those presenting face and airway malformations. adequate ti equipment is mandatory and, in addition to basic monitoring, capnography is of great

Abstract: lameness in cattle is, as a rule, accompanied by infection in the wounded area. many antimicrobial agents of wide spectrum are used in this therapy, being the concentration of the active principle of paramount importance in the treatment. one of the most used antibiotics is the tetracycline family, having as main representants oxitetracycline and tetracycline due to their treatment success. therefore, the present work aims the development of an analytical method which allows the determination of tetracycline by high pressure liquid chromatography in sinovial fluid of dairy cows, with lameness in foot, post-administration of antibiotic by intravenous via. the analytical method presented detection and quantification limits in sinovial fluid of 38 and 50 ng/ml, respectively. recovery of low, medium and high concentrations were higher than 75%. the method presented linearity in the dynamic range evaluated (50-15.000 ng/ml). precision and accuracy to the low, average and high concentrations were considered suitable to perform the analyses. tmax and cmax of tetracycline in sinovial liquid of dairy cows with lameness in foot, after intravenous administration were 1.37h and 3471.57ng/ml, respectively.

Abstract: the school of geneva sociodiscursive interactionism epistemology and the functional versant of studies of language echoed on the presupposed ideas in three official documents: the state of s?o paulo portuguese curricular proposal (pclp), the state of paraná basic education curricular directives (dce) and the national curricular parameters (pcn). these documents postulate discursive practices in different contexts of language use as the axis for pedagogic work.the approach based on contextualized language in social practices constitutes a new paradigm for teacher training and the didactization of such practices. to that end, the authors give their contribution by presenting a proposal for didactic modeling of a social practice which contributes to the elaboration of didactic activities in which articulate linguistic and discursive aspects emerging from the functioning of language can be found.

Abstract: the brazilian ministry of health established mandatory completion of the hospital and outpatient information form (ciha) in all the country's health services in order to monitor care funded by sources other than the unified national health system (sus). considering that data quality is essential, this study analyzed coverage of the ciha in the states and federal district, taking data from the information system on live births (sinasc) from 2006 to 2009 as the standard. coverage of the ciha was low in nearly all of the states, corresponding to fewer than one-fourth of the births recorded in the sinasc, decreasing from 24.4% in 2006 to 19.7% in 2009. there was a wide variation between the states, with the best results in s?o paulo (71.9% in 2006; 46.4% in 2009), rio grande do sul (35.8% in 2006; 29.5% in 2009), and santa catarina (31.6% in 2006; 37.7% in 2009). the other states showed less than 20% coverage. mechanisms for data collection and use of the ciha to support decision-making are important for planning and evaluating healthcare.
