PUBLICA ES CIENTíFICAS BRASILEIRAS DE ENFERMEIRAS OBSTéTRICAS SOBRE PARTO DOMICILIAR: REVIS O SISTEMáTICA DE LITERATURA

Abstract: Este estudio de revisión, fue realizado en revistas nacionales, destinado a caracterizar la producción científica de las enfermeras brasile as sobre el parto domiciliar, e identificar los resultados obtenidos. Se identificaron 27 artículos, de los cuales 10 cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, de los cuales, ocho constituyeron el corpus del análisis, de acuerdo con Critical Appraisal Skills Programme. Los datos fueron resumidos por el enfoque meta-etnográfico, a través del proceso interpretativo de reciprocal translation. Surgieron tres categorías: La atención proporcionada por las parteras; Las experiencias de mujeres atendidas por profesionales de la salud en el parto en casa; y, Las experiencias comparativas de las mujeres que dieron a luz a sus bebés en partos en el hogar y el hospital. La meta-categoría "parto humanizado en el ambiente cálido del hogar" se ala una mirada hacia la realidad del parto en casa en Brasil. Los resultados muestran la práctica de las parteras tradicionales, la satisfacción de las mujeres que tuvieron sus hijos en casa, y un revelan un importante vacío sobre la producción de conocimiento de la enfermera obstétrica en el parto en casa.
Initiating learning in physical therapy care for women with urinary incontinence: difficulties presented by academia and proposals to overcome

Abstract: This qualitative, convergent-care study seeks to comprehend the difficulties presented by physical therapy academics initiating learning towards caring for women with urinary incontinence and to construct strategies to overcoming said difficulties, with theoreticalmethodological support from Liberation Pedagogy. Participants were 17 students in the class Urogynecological Physical Therapy in 2009.1. From participants’ observations and workshops, data emerged and resulted in four categories: difficulties in dealing with one’s sexuality; embarrassment sharing intimacy with colleagues; in interacting with women with incontinence; and to organizing the class, Urogynecological Physical Therapy. This study permits us to understand that even with such difficulties, dialogue and critical perspectives show themselves to be essential in collectively constructing proposals: premature approaches to sexuality; openness to dialogue in disciplines; group living experiences; and insertion in day-to-day realities of curricular activities of urogynecological physical therapy, making it possible to transform the initiation to learning process for this physical care.
External Ellipsoidal Harmonics for the Dunkl-Laplacian

Abstract: The paper introduces external ellipsoidal and external sphero-conal $h$-harmonics for the Dunkl-Laplacian. These external $h$-harmonics admit integral representations, and they are connected by a formula of Niven's type. External $h$-harmonics in the plane are expressed in terms of Jacobi polynomials $P_n^{α,β}$ and Jacobi's functions $Q_n^{α,β}$ of the second kind.

Abstract: Classical ellipsoidal and sphero-conal harmonics are polynomial solutions of the Laplace equation that can be expressed in terms of Lamé polynomials. Generalized ellipsoidal and sphero-conal harmonics are polynomial solutions of the more general Dunkl equation that can be expressed in terms of Stieltjes polynomials. Niven's formula connecting ellipsoidal and sphero-conal harmonics is generalized. Moreover, generalized ellipsoidal harmonics are applied to solve the Dirichlet problem for Dunkl's equation on ellipsoids.
Eigenvalue problems of Atkinson, Feller and Krein, and their mutual relationship

Abstract: It is shown that every regular Krein-Feller eigenvalue problem can be transformed to a semidefinite Sturm-Liouville problem introduced by Atkinson. This makes it possible to transfer results between the corresponding theories. In particular, Prufer angle methods become available for Krein-Feller problems.

Condition-Dependent Cell Volume and Concentration of Escherichia coli to Facilitate Data Conversion for Systems Biology Modeling

Abstract: Systems biology modeling typically requires quantitative experimental data such as intracellular concentrations or copy numbers per cell. In order to convert population-averaging omics measurement data to intracellular concentrations or cellular copy numbers, the total cell volume and number of cells in a sample need to be known. Unfortunately, even for the often studied model bacterium Escherichia coli this information is hardly available and furthermore, certain measures (e.g. cell volume) are also dependent on the growth condition. In this work, we have determined these basic data for E. coli cells when grown in 22 different conditions so that respective data conversions can be done correctly. First, we determine growth-rate dependent cell volumes. Second, we show that in a 1 ml E. coli sample at an optical density (600 nm) of 1 the total cell volume is around 3.6 μl for all conditions tested. Third, we demonstrate that the cell number in a sample can be determined on the basis of the sample's optical density and the cells' growth rate. The data presented will allow for conversion of E. coli measurement data normalized to optical density into volumetric cellular concentrations and copy numbers per cell - two important parameters for systems biology model development.
Authenticated tree parity machine key exchange

Abstract: The synchronisation of Tree Parity Machines (TPMs), has proven to provide a valuable alternative concept for secure symmetric key exchange. Yet, from a cryptographer's point of view, authentication is at least as important as a secure exchange of keys. Adding an authentication via hashing e.g. is straightforward but with no relation to Neural Cryptography. We consequently formulate an authenticated key exchange within this concept. Another alternative, integrating a Zero-Knowledge protocol into the synchronisation, is also presented. A Man-In-The-Middle attack and even all currently known attacks, that are based on using identically structured TPMs and synchronisation as well, can so be averted. This in turn has practical consequences on using the trajectory in weight space. Both suggestions have the advantage of not affecting the previously observed physics of this interacting system at all.
