An approximation scheme for SDEs with non-smooth coefficients

Abstract: Elliptic stochastic differential equations (SDE) make sense when the coefficients are only continuous. We study the corresponding linearized SDE whose coefficients are not assumed to be locally bounded. This leads to existence of $W_{\loc}^{1,p}$ solution flows for elliptic SDEs with H\"older continuous and $\cap_{p} W_{\loc}^{1,p}$ coefficients. Furthermore an approximation scheme is studied from which we obtain a representation for the derivative of the Markov semigroup, and an integration by parts formula.

Abstract: We present a retrospective review of DNA immunoadsorption (DNA-IA) therapy on clinical symptoms as well as indicators in pediatric cases with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and follow up the short-term curative effects. 16 SLE cases were treated by DNA-IA for 3 times every other day. We observed the changes on clinical manifestations and immunological indicators, in order to compare the alteration of these indicators including clinical manifestations, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Active Index (SLEDAI) scores, 24 hurinary protein excretion, autoantibodies, serum IgG and complement C3. 13 cases were followed up regularly, within 3 months after DNA-IA therapy, 12 cases of clinical manifestations improved (92.3%). SLEDAI scores in 10 cases decreased from (16.20 ± 12.54) to less than 5 (76.9%), 8 cases of ANA, anti-DNA antibodies were negative (61.5%), 13 cases with IgG level in serum recovered to normal (10.39 ± 4.38) g/L, C3 level rose to normal (1.06 ± 0.23) g/L. 3 to 6 months after IA, clinical manifestations and laboratory examinations in all cases got maximum improved. 9 months after IA, SLEDAI score in 2 cases (15.4%) rose to more than 5, anti-DNA antibody in 2 cases (15.4%) became positive, and 1case (7.7%) with serum C3 decreased again. 2 cases died from multiple organs dysfunction within 3 to 6 months after IA. No serious complications were found during DNA-IA. We recommend that DNA immunoadsorption is a safe and effective therapy for active childhood-onset SLE, which could improve clinical symptoms, eliminate ANA and anti-DNA antibodies. Combining with corticosteroids and immunosuppressive drugs, DNA-IA could significantly reduce the activity of disease and protect vital organs function in the short term.

Abstract: The aim of the paper is to study the pinned Wiener measure on the loop space over a simply connected compact Riemannian manifold together with the Hilbert space structure induced by Mallianvin calculus and the induced Ornstein- Uhlenbeck operator. We give a concrete estimate for the weak Poincare inequality for the O-U Dirichlet form on loop space over simply connected compact Riemannian manifold with strict positive Ricci curvature.
A Poincaré Inequality on Loop Spaces

Abstract: We investigate properties of measures in infinite dimensional spaces in terms of Poincar\'e inequalities. A Poincar\'e inequality states that the $L^2$ variance of an admissible function is controlled by the homogeneous $H^1$ norm. In the case of Loop spaces, it was observed by L. Gross that the homogeneous $H^1$ norm alone may not control the $L^2$ norm and a potential term involving the end value of the Brownian bridge is introduced. Aida, on the other hand, introduced a weight on the Dirichlet form. We show that Aida's modified Logarithmic Sobolev inequality implies weak Logarithmic Sobolev Inequalities and weak Poincar\'e inequalities with precise estimates on the order of convergence. The order of convergence in the weak Sobolev inequalities are related to weak $L^1$ estimates on the weight function. This and a relation between Logarithmic Sobolev inequalities and weak Poincar\'e inequalities lead to a Poincar\'e inequality on the loop space over certain manifolds.
IGF2 expression in blood is not associated with its imprinting status in healthy pregnant Chinese women

Abstract: Loss of Imprinting (LOI) of IGF2 and over-expressed IGF2 are associated with tumorigenesis. Our previous epidemiological study found a relatively high frequency of IGF2 LOI in healthy mid-gestation pregnant women. The aim of this study is to determine whether the expression of IGF2 is associated with its imprinting status in healthy Chinese pregnant women. The IGF2 imprinting status of 300 pregnant women was analyzed. 20 cases of IGF2 LOI and 20 cases of IGF2 retention of imprinting (ROI) were selected randomly for IGF2 expression analysis. The expression pattern of IGF2 between the group with IGF2 ROI and group with IGF2 LOI in healthy Chinese pregnant women was evaluated by real time PCR and western blot. The result showed no significant differences between IGF2 ROI and LOI groups in mRNA and protein levels. These results imply that IGF2 imprinting status has no obvious impact on its expression. There may be some unknown important factors other than imprinting status driving IGF2 expression.

Abstract: A multiple kernel least squares support vector machine (MK-LSSVM) modeling method is proposed for the chaos of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). An equivalent kernel is built by linear-weighted combination of multi kernels to reduce the dependence of modeling accuracy on kernel function and parameters. The solutions of regression parameters and MK-LSSVM output are given in theory. C-C method is employed for the phase space reconstruction of PMSM chaos, then one-step and multi-step real-time online prediction of reconstructed chaotic series are investigated based on moving window learning method. The effect of different measurement noises on the proposed method is discussed. Simulations show that the proposed method can enhance the modeling accuracy and have strong anti-noise capability.

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cu(C16H14N5)2]Cl2·2CH4O·2H2O, the cationic metal complex resides on a crystallographic centre of inversion, with the Cu2+ bonded to two bis(1H-benzimidazol-2-ylmethyl)amines (IDB). The coordination geometry of the Cu2+ ion is distorted octahedral with an N6 ligand set. A three-dimensional framework structure is formed by means of hydrogen bonds and π–π interactions formed between imidazole and phenyl rings, and between phenyl and phenyl rings, with centroid-to-centroid distances of 3.690 (2)–3.977 (2) and interplanar spacings of 3.445 (2)–3.502 (2) .
