Application of SARIMA Model on Money Supply  [PDF]

Abstract: In the paper, the data of the narrow money supply of China from January 2005 to March 2016 as sample, \"\" model is established by using Eviews6.0. Upon inspection, the model has good fitting effect (MAPE = 1.09) and high prediction accuracy. According to the results of the model, the paper forecasts the development trend of the narrow money supply of China and puts forward some suggestions to provide reference for monetary policy of China.
A Study on Customer Prosumption Concept and Its Impact on Enterprise Value Co-Creation  [PDF]

Abstract: Prosumption, which implies that buyers produce products for their own consumption, is becoming a new phenomenon in the context of network sharing economy. With the development of information technology, customers who are accustomed to online shopping are more and more automatically generating prosumption activities. This paper aims to identify customer prosumption characterized as a kind of compound behavior with integration of information production and consumption in digital age. To do so, a bibliometric analysis identifies the articles that other authors cite the most, their citations, and co-citations, thus enabling the definition of networks of authors and journals from the perspectives of the connotation, behavior, and mechanism. The results suggest that customer prosumption is characterized by “rich” while not “scarce”, and enterprises value co-creation is the main form of social activities of customer prosumption. These results also show some gaps in the literature that need further research.

A novel scheme which can realize high-speed optical signals transmission and reception by using 4-pulsed amplitude modulation (4-PAM) and demodulation in 10 Gb/s passive optical access systems with different bandwidth optical Bessel filter (OBF) is introduced. In this scheme, a PAM sequence generator module, an M-ary pulse generator module and one Mach-Zehnder intensity Modulator (MZM) are employed for generating the 10 Gb/s optical 4-PAM signals. And then, the generated optical 4-PAM signal achieves transmission over 20 km single mode fiber (SMF) for downstream (DS) access links application. Finally, the optical 4-PAM signal after transmission is directly detected and demodulated. We measure time-domain sequential waveform curves, optical spectrum curves, and eye-diagrams, and analyze the receiver sensitivity of 10 Gb/s 4-PAM signals before and after transmission. The received performance of the optical 4-PAM signals after transmission over 20 km single mode fiber (SMF) with different bandwidth OBF has also been analyzed.
Study on 4PAM Radio over Fiber System Using Self-Mixing Technique  [PDF]

In this paper, a simplified optical millimeter-wave generated by two optical sidebands beating together in a 60 GHz radio over fiber (RoF) system with 10 Gbit/s 4-pulse amplitude modulation (4 PAM) transmission signal is proposed and simulated. 10 Gbit/s electrical 4 PAM signals modulated are conveyed over the length of 40 km standard single mode fiber (SMF) and recovered via the self-mixing technique after detecting directly at the receiver. Graphs of time-domain wave, frequency-domain and optical spectrum are measured out in different period, and the comparison of error vector magnitude curves of NRZ and 4 PAM signals under the different length of fiber is accomplished. The capacity of 4 PAM modulation is higher, though NRZ performs better than 4 PAM selected in RoF system within 80 km of fiber length as shown in the simulation results.
Robust Reliable Control for Nonlinear Stochastic Markovian Jump Systems

Abstract: The robust reliable ∞ control problem for a class of nonlinear stochastic Markovian jump systems (NSMJSs) is investigated. The system under consideration includes Itô-type stochastic disturbance, Markovian jumps, as well as sector-bounded nonlinearities and norm-bounded stochastic nonlinearities. Our aim is to design a controller such that, for possible actuator failures, the closed-loop stochastic Markovian jump system is exponential mean-square stable with convergence rate and disturbance attenuation . Based on the Lyapunov stability theory and Itô differential rule, together with LMIs techniques, a sufficient condition for stochastic systems is first established in Lemma 3. Then, using the lemma, the sufficient conditions of the solvability of the robust reliable ∞ controller for linear SMJSs and NSMJSs are given. Finally, a numerical example is exploited to show the usefulness of the derived results.

Abstract: This paper mainly focuses on multivariate extension of the extension principle of IFSs. Based on the Cartesian product over IFSs, the multivariate extension principle of IFSs is established. Furthermore, three kinds of representation of this principle are provided. Finally, a general framework of the algebraic operation between IFSs is given by using the multivariate extension principle.
Use-wear analysis confirms the use of Palaeolithic bone tools by the Lingjing Xuchang early human

Abstract: During 2007–2008 excavations at the Lingjing site near Xuchang, Henan Province, dated back to around 100–80 ka ago, a large quantity of mammalian fossil remains were recovered along with a remarkable cluster of Early Modern Human (EMH) skull fragments in situ. Observably some of those animal bones were probably modified into tools. A use-wear analysis was carried out to examine the functions of modified bone tools. The results suggest that Lingjing bone tools were used for drilling, penetrating, and scraping animal substances, and that some might have been hafted during the use. This study confirms that early existence of intentionally-modified bone tools at human occupations of the early Late Pleistocene in northern China. This discovery suggests making and use of bone tools were inevitably a part of early human behaviors and cultural development, as such of stone tools.
Binaurality and azimuth tuning of neurons in the auditory cortex of the big brown bat

Abstract: By using a combined closed and free-field stimulation system, binaurality and azimuth tuning of the neurons in the auditory cortex of the big brown bat,Eptesicus fuscus, were studied. A variety of azimuth-tuning functions were demonstrated for the binaural neurons. The large majority of EE (contralateral and ipsilateral excitatory) neurons exhibited azimuth selectivity with the best azimuths (BA) at contralateral 30°–40°, some at ipsilateral 20°-40° and preferred azimuth ranges (PAR, response amplitude 75% of maximum) between 8° and 40°. Sound source azimuths strongly modulate spike counts with a mean modulation depth of 83.8% for EE neurons. EI (contralateral excitatory and ipsilateral inhibitory) neurons have simple azimuth tuning with BA located at contralateral 20°-40° and a broad PAR ranged from 30° to 55°. The present results suggest that azimuth-tuning characteristics of binaural neurons in the auditory cortex of the bat are of significance for acoustic behaviour.

An Analysis of Research in Academic Prose between Native Speakers and Chinese Learners

Abstract: This study is a corpus-based lexical study that aims to compare the use of research as a noun between native speakers and Chinese EAP learners in research articles in Linguistics. A self-built learner corpus of academic English (CMFD) and its parallel corpus (PQDT) are applied. Quantitative analysis of frequency and qualitative analysis of collocation of node words are used in this paper. The results reveal Chinese EAP learners use research more frequently than native speakers, and native speakers never use “researches” as a plural form of noun in academic writing while Chinese EAP learners use this form frequently. Compared with native speakers, Chinese learners tend to make the following errors: an overuse of research; using research as a countable noun; disorder in using of “research” and “researches”; confusedness of “numerous research” expressions; mixed collocation prosodies. The knowledge gained by this study can increase awareness of proper use of research in composition of instructors and L2 writers, leading to clearer, more accurate texts.
