Group I but not Group II NPV induces antiviral effects in mammalian cells

Abstract: Nucleopolyhedrovirus (NPV) is divided into Group I and Group II based on the phylogenetic analysis. It has been reported that Group I NPVs such as Autographa californica multiple NPV (AcMNPV) can transduce mammalian cells, while Group II NPVs such as Helicoverpa armigera single NPV (HaSNPV) cannot. Here we report that AcMNPV was capable of stimulating antiviral activity in human hepatoma cells (SMMC-7721) manifested by inhibition of Vesicular Stomatitis virus (VSV) replication. In contrast, the HaSNPV and the Spodoptera exigua multiple NPV (SeMNPV) of group II had no inhibitory effect on VSV. Recombinant AcMNPV was shown to induce interferons alpha/beta even in the absence of transgene expression in human SMMC-7721 cells, while it mediated transgene expression in BHK and L929 mammalian cells without an ensuing antiviral activity.

Abstract: Tax software has direct influence on the work efficiency and service quality of tax department. How to evaluate objectively and make the correct choice are problems that must be solved in the construction of tax informationization. The comprehensive evaluation system of tax software is firstly designed by its performance factor, developer factor and cost factor according to the industry characteristics of tax work, Then, corresponding evaluation selection method is given which combined by weighted arithmetic averaged operator. The software section of the state taxation bureau in certain city is taken as an example to explain the effectiveness of the evaluation system and method.
Functional analysis of the Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus IAP1 and IAP2

Abstract: The Autographa californica nucleopolyhedrovirus (AcMNPV) contains three apoptosis suppressor genes: p35, iap1 and iap2. AcMNPV P35 functions as a pancaspase inhibitor, but the function of IAP1 and IAP2 has not been entirely resolved. In this paper, we analyze the function of IAP1 and IAP2 in detail. AcMNPV with p35-deletion inhibited the apoptosis of BTI-Tn-5B1-4 (Tn-Hi5) cells induced by a Helicoverpa armigera single nucleocapsid NPV (HearNPV) infection and rescued the replication of HearNPV and BV production in these cells. Transient-expression experiments indicated that both IAP1 and IAP2 suppress apoptosis of Tn-Hi5 cells during HearNPV infection. Recombinant HearNPVs expressing AcMNPV iap1, iap2 and p35, respectively, not only prevented apoptosis but also allowed HearNPV to replicate in Tn-Hi5 cells. However, the iap1, iap2 and p35 genes when expressed in HearNPV were unable to rescue BV production. These results indicate that both AcMNPV iap1 and iap2 function independently as apoptosis inhibitors of and are potential host range factors.

A Novel Mathematical Model for the Unique Shortest Path Routing Problem

Abstract: Link weights are the principal parameters of shortest path routing protocols, the most commonly used protocols for IP networks. The problem of optimally setting link weights for unique shortest path routing is addressed. Due to the complexity of the constraints involved, there exist challenges to formulate the problem properly, so that a solution algorithm may be developed which could prove to be more efficient than those already in existence. In this paper, a novel complete formulation with a polynomial number of constraints is first introduced and then mathematically proved to be correct. It is further illustrated that the formulation has advantages over a prior one in terms of both constraint structure and model size for a proposed decomposition method to solve the problem.
Sensitivity of the C-N Vibration to Solvation in Dicyanobenzenes: A DFT Study  [PDF]

Abstract: Using DFT calculations, we have studied the C-N vibration of dicyanobenzenes in different solvents. The effects of solvent polarity and hydrogen bonding were evaluated. The frequency is decreased by 4 cm–1 when the solvent polarity increases. In the current study, the red shift due to the solvent polarity was underestimated by PCM. For hydrogen bonding, the frequency is increased by 10 cm–1 because of the charge transfer from the lone pair of nitrogen in C≡N to water, which slightly increases the bond strength of C-N. The C-N vibration of dicyanobenzenes is calculated to be sensitive to solvation.

Abstract:

Power systems are subjected to all kinds of random disturbances, showing the electromechanical dynamic. A lot of theoretical researches show that the disturbance power and frequency is propagating in the form of wave which is called electromechanical wave. But electromechanical wave theory is not widely used in actual power system. In this paper we focus on simulation study of electromechanical wave frequency sensitivity and propagation velocity and elaborating the simulation results with the electromechanical wave theory. Finally some summaries and expectations on electromechanical wave study are made.

A New Method for Anti-Noise FM Interference  [PDF]

Abstract: Noise Frequency Modulated (NFM) interference causes a disaster to almost all types of Radar systems. The echo signal and the interference are overlapped and because of strong energy of the NFM interference noth-ing could be detected except the interference in the Radar receiver system. Up to now no good method against NFM has been declared, conventional methods are based on the passive Radar to track the interfer-ence source which are not applicable under most conditions. Here a novel anti-noise FM method is proposed to suppress the NFM interference, the method multiply the mixed signal two times by different reference signals. The principle and some key factors of the new method are analyzed in detail and some rules for pa-rameters designing are given. What’s more, results show that the method can eradicate NFM effectively.
