Salus Online , 2010,
Abstract: Haemagogus equinus Theobald 1903 (Diptera: Culicidae) in the campus of the Universidad de Carabobo. Valencia. Venezuela.Species of Haemagogus are the main vector of sylvatic Yellow Fever (YF). The immature phases breed in water-filled tree holes and bambu internodes; however, some species are found in artificialcontainers. We assessed the presence of medically important mosquitoes in an urban area. Traps were used in a riberine forest near the Sports Area of the University of Carabobo. A month later they were removed, and mosquito composition was determined. We reported the presence of Haemagogus (Haemagogus) equinus Theobald and other three species. This finding represents a potenciality forenzootic YF transmission, and the adaptation of such species to artificial breeding sites, which, in addition to the increment of aedine indexes, constitute a risk for the emergence of such arbovirus.

Abstract: introduction. from the course 2003-2004, we give in the faculty of medicine of the university of barcelona a matter called diagnostics elements in internal medicine, for the diagnostic through analysis of laboratory, functional proofs, of image and electrocardiogram. materials and methods. all the educational material is deposited in the page web of the topic and through it the students answer the 6 questionnaires. results. in the course 2008-2009, 61 students have choose the topic. 27 students (44,26%) answered correctly more than 50% of the questions. 31,15% did not achieve this figure and 24,59% did not complete the program of evaluations. the highest punctuations have given in respiratory functional proofs and the lowest in the evaluation of the thoracic x-ray. conclusions. it's not easy the evaluation of clinical skills. the cost of realization of the proofs and the resistance of the students to be evaluated remain skewed in this experience where the students participate voluntarily. the simplicity of the project would allow evaluating in clinical skills all the students of the faculty in the clinical courses period when it still is possible the training. the students have a good acceptance of the system proposed, and it could design a system of access to educational credits and a plan of specific training in the no surpassed matters.

JISTEM - Journal of Information Systems and Technology Management , 2008, DOI: 10.1590/S1807-17752008000300005
Abstract: the objective of this research is to demonstrate that the time series are an excellent tool for modeling of data traffic on networks wimax. to achieve this goal we used the box-jenkins method, which is described in this article. the traffic modeling wimax through correlated models such as time series allow you to adjust much of the dynamic behavior of the data in an equation, and based on this estimate future values of traffic. this is an advantage for planning coverage, reservation-tion of resources and the realization of a more timely and efficient in an integrated manner at different levels of the hierarchy of functional data network wimax. as a result of the investigation was a model of traffic arima order 18, which made traffic forecasts with values of root mean square error relatively small, for a period of 10 days.

Ingeniería e Investigación , 2009,
Abstract: this present scientific and technological research was aimed at showing that time series represent an excellent tool for data traffic modelling within wi-fi networks. box-jenkins methodology (described herein) was used for this purpose. wi-fi traffic modelling through correlated models, such as time series, allowed a great part of the data's behaviourl dynamics to be adjusted into a single equation and future traffic values to be estimated based on this. all this is advantageous when it comes to planning integrated coverage, reserving resources and performing more efficient and timely control at different levels of the wi-fi data network functional hierarchy. a six order arima traffic model was obtained as a research outcome which predicted traffic with relatively small mean square error values for an 18-day term.

Tecnura , 2010,
Abstract: this paper presents the characteristics of the rip protocol, versions 1, 2 and ripng, and discusses the configuration and solution of problems and hypotheses for this protocol in some of the basic network environments. this is a routing method made several years ago, which has become a standard that is still used widely, based on a distance vector algorithm for redundant networks and small.

This present scientific and technological research was aimed at showing that time series represent an excellent tool for data traffic modelling within Wi-Fi networks. Box-Jenkins methodology (described herein) was used for this purpose. Wi-Fi traffic modelling through correlated models, such as time series, allowed a great part of the data’s behaviourl dynamics to be adjusted into a sin- gle equation and future traffic values to be estimated based on this. All this is advantageous when it comes to planning integrated coverage, reserving resources and performing more efficient and timely control at different levels of the Wi-Fi data network func- tional hierarchy. A six order ARIMA traffic model was obtained as a research outcome which predicted traffic with relatively small mean square error values for an 18-day term.

Abstract: this work aimed to study the microstructural characterization and mechanical behavior of aa2139 t3 and t8 aluminum alloys joined by fsw - friction stir welding. the microstructural analysis has been done using optical microscope and scanning electron microscopy, and the mechanical analysis were evaluate through microhardness testing and conventional tensile test using the aramis system . each alloy were welded using the same welding parameters and the same tool in order to evaluate the joint quality for both heat treatment used for this work, t3 and t8. the result showed sounds joints for both heat treatments, although with better mechanical properties for the alloy aa2139 t3.
