Trabajo y sociedad , 2012,
Abstract: in this article we propose to analyze the petroleum unionism in comodoro rivadavia during the period of the military government (1944 - 1955). this stage coincided with the first peronism period, which generated two antagonistic groups to the interior of the main trade union of the petroleum state company, the union of ypf workers and employees. from the canonical historiography perspective about peronism, the dissolution of the autonomist group has been explained in terms of peronización and cooptation, in the frame of the conservative position that perón would have acquired from 1952. from the analysis of the speech, our perspective seeks to move away from this type of arguments. the dispute between both sectors of the trade union and the dissolution of the autonomist group would explain from some elements that constitute the populist speech: the presentation of a hurt, the appearance of a new political subject, the community life partition by two groups and the irreductibility of this division.

Abstract: sticky colored traps are used in many colors and sizes to capture flower thrips {frankliniella occidentalis). although the effects of different trap colors has been extensively tested, the effects of trap size have not. the goal of this work was to study of the relationship between trap size and sampling efficiency for flower thrips collected from pepper plants under greenhouse conditions. five different yellow sticky trap sizes ranging from 100 to 750 cm2 were tested over three consecutive seasons. the total number of insects caught per trap was proportional to trap área and perimeter length, whereas the number of insects caught per unit área varied with the trap perimeter/area ratio. the latter measure of capture effectiveness was significantly higher for the smallest trap size. based on these results, one small trap would be needed every 90 m2 or every 5 m2 to sample insects with 20 and 5% standard error, respectively we have demonstrated that optimum trap number varíes with trap size, an issue that is not usually considered. in addition, the accepted error, a main parameter for sampling protocols that is not defined for traps of different sizes, has been established for five different trap sizes.
There has always been a misconception about evaluation: it has been associated with the moment an exam is taken. In other words, the act of evaluating is equivalent to the certification of the knowledge students have learnt and professors have taught, summarizing both teaching and learning processes.But considering it only as a procedure which verifies certain results, as well as the simple conclusion of a cycle, minimizes the immense possibilities evaluation can offer. Capacity, performance, skill and even attitudes can also be verified in order to reveal problems in the students' learning process in addition to the teaching process. The resulting information should generate decisions which would correct those problems and enhance the education system accordingly.Therefore, evaluation ought to be thought of as a process itself, quite complex indeed, which must not be considered as isolated from the teaching process: we evaluate what we teach, conceptually and methodologically speaking.Consequently, evaluation is not only an instrument of certification but moreover, a key element in the professional education of our students, operating as feedback of the learning and teaching processes. As educators, we shoulder the responsibility of g

Trabajo y sociedad , 2012,
The evolution of internationalization: towards a new theory?
Moreira,António Carrizo;
Economia Global e Gest?o , 2009,
Abstract: the theories of internationalization encompass a wide variety of explanatory elements that follow the firms? responses to distorted, imperfect markets. whilst traditional theories were concentrated on foreign direct investment and on how multinationals enlarged their involvement in international markets, recent theories have focused their attention on small to medium businesses following either a staged model or a networked approach. there has been wide disagreement regarding all theories of internationalization. this paper provides a brief literature review on the main theories of internationalization and concludes that due to the emergence of a new polycentric economic world a new theory encompassing new important factors is in strong demand.
Moreira,António Carrizo;
Investiga??o Operacional , 2007,
Abstract: the main purpose of this article is to confront the results of the principal components analysis (pca) with the results of the categorical principal components analysis (catpca), in order to assess the feasibility of both techniques. the satisfaction of the service provided by an air passenger carrier was used for that purpose where 250 passengers were interviewed. the conclusions are clear: on the one hand, it is advisable to use the pca because as a result three components are obtained that explain 70,23% of the total variance of satisfaction explained whereas the catpca has a result only one component that explains 60% of the total variance explained of the air carrier passenger satisfaction. on the other hand, the pca violates two main principles: it uses qualitative variables and those variables do not follow a normal distribution, which is not at stake with catpca. the trade off of the two techniques favors pca vis-à-vis catpca due to both the three dimensions obtained and the total variance explained.
Carrizo Moreno,Dante;
Ingeniare. Revista chilena de ingeniería , 2012, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-33052012000300013
Abstract: requirements engineering can use a lot of techniques to gather the users' needs. however, currently there are few practical guidelines and criteria for selecting techniques in a software development project. this paper tries to know the vision that novice requirements engineers have about the effectiveness of requirements elicitation techniques and compare it with the requirements experts' vision. to carry out the comparison, repertory grid technique was used. this technique allows knowing indirectly the subject's opinion on the techniques. the results show a substantial difference between both visions with regard to the techniques and elicitation context. this implies that a more extensive training, and primarily practice, is necessary in order for novice engineers to recognize differences in techniques effectiveness and decide with greater certainty about the most appropriate techniques to use in requirements elicitation sessions.
