Un nuevo programa para el aprendizaje inicial de la lectura

Abstract: Los diversos trastornos de lenguaje que es posible detectar en ni os muy peque os que están en el último a o de educación infantil los ponen en riesgo de tener después problemas para aprender a leer. Por ello es importante formular programas y métodos de ense anza para esta fase crucial en que se inicia el aprendizaje formal de la lectura. Los programas y métodos usuales tienen grandes méritos pedagógicos, pero en general carecen de una base lingüística seria que ayude a crear, graduar y coordinar las actividades de los ni os en riesgo de una manera apropiada tanto a su nivel de desarrollo como a las propiedades de la lengua materna. En este artículo se presenta un nuevo programa que retoma los fundamentos pedagógicos mejores de los programas disponibles, pero les a ade una serie de principios básicos tomados de las disciplinas que estudian el lenguaje. Tras una exposición en que se analizan por separado los diversos componentes de nuestro método, se presentan algunos detalles que ilustran como se combinan en un programa integrado.

Abstract: this article presents a synthesis of the intervention programs and strategies to treat reading difficulties. the synthesis includes a review of the last published articles on the issue, both in spanish and english. it also presents the visits to different language rehabilitation centers in the community of madrid including the approaches applied in these centers. besides the description of the general intervention strategies applied to reading problems, some of the programs to treat specific difficulties of words decoding and recognizing are explained, and the programs to treat reading comprehension and fluidity.

Aportaciones de la neurociencia al tratamiento educativo de las dificultades de lectura

Abstract: This paper presents a historical view of the study of the brain and its relationship to intelligence, and human behavior, from Hipocrates and Alcmeon of Crotona to present days. This historical view briefly contemplates the thesis of Bell, Mangedie, Flourens, Galvani, and Gall. The importance of the neuron, neural networks, and environment is highlighted. These general principle of nature-nurture interactions means that the brain is both an independent (causal) variable and a dependent (outcome) variable. That is, brain is an organ that allows an organism to act on the environment and that can be changed in constrained ways as the organism interacts with the environment. In this way, teacher are an important influence on the nurture side of the nature-nurture interaction for learning. Finally, five functional neuroimaging studies, that have been published recently, are presented. These studies showed that neural deficitsin children with reading difficulties are ameliorated by behavioral remediations. These investigations examined whether phonologically-based interventions ameliorated the dysfunctional neural mechanisms in children with dyslexia. Probably, in the future these studies will be a useful way to early identification and treatment of reading difficulties.

Abstract: many years have passed since the health care reform in spain, nevertheless there are still questions about the achievements in this health care level, as well as the aspects and expectations that are still pending for the medical discipline as well as for nursing. the present article analyzes whether the innovation plans recently put into action in different communities, particularly that taking place in catalonia. furthermore, it also addressed the current academic development in nursing in spain, the development of the different nursing areas and aspects related to nursing prescription, screening and care to acute pathologies in primary health care.
Marcas de subjetividad y argumentación en tres géneros especializados del espa?ol

Abstract: in this paper we study grammatical features relevant in spanish from a functional point of view, to the extent that they can be associated with semantic and pragmatic functions of discourse (halliday, 1994; biber, conrad & reppen, 1998). specifically, we analyse the occurrence of grammatical features associated with two textual characteristics, subjectivity and argumentation, in three discourse genres: didactic genres (school book, professional school manual, etc.), popularized genres (popularized article, popularized book, review, etc.), and behaviour-regulating genres (contract, agreement, law, etc.). in this research we study texts included in the corpus of the royal academy of spanish language (rae), available in internet, in order to obtain and to quantify automatically the features observed. the results show differences in grammatical characteristics of each discourse genres, both from a quantitative perspective and a qualitative one, in other words, the grammatical units observed are used in combinations with other linguistic elements characteristic of each specific text form.

Abstract: different approaches have been adopted to analyse professional discourses. we focus on three relevant perspectives in this field: the textual linguistic approach, the rhetorical approach, and the current pragmatic and sociocognitive perspective. to explain the complexity of producing and understanding genres in professional contexts, it is required to throw bridges over the different methodologies. in our paper we consider the analysis categories which enable the integration of the discussed approaches.

Abstract: En el presente trabajo se lleva a cabo un estudio de rasgos gramaticales relevantes en espa ol desde un punto de vista funcional, en cuanto a que pueden asociarse con una función semántico-pragmática en el discurso (Halliday, 1994; Biber, Conrad & Reppen, 1998). Concretamente, se analiza la ocurrencia de rasgos gramaticales asociados a dos características textuales, la subjetividad y la argumentación, en tres géneros de discurso: géneros didácticos (manual escolar, manual de escuelas profesionales, etc.), géneros divulgativos (artículo de divulgación, monografía, ensayo, noticia científica, etc.) y géneros que regulan conductas (contratos, acuerdos, leyes, etc.). Se parte de textos incluidos en el corpus de la Real Academia Espa ola (RAE), disponible en Internet, con el propósito de obtener y cuantificar de forma automática los rasgos observados. Los resultados apuntan a diferencias gramaticales características de cada género, tanto desde una perspectiva cuantitativa como cualitativa, en el sentido de que las unidades lingüísticas observadas se utilizan en combinaciones con otros elementos gramaticales que son peculiares de cada forma textual específica. Abstract: El análisis de los discursos profesionales ha sido abordado desde distintas perspectivas. Destacamos tres enfoques fundamentales en este campo: la aproximación lingüístico-textual, la aproximación retórica, y el enfoque pragmático y sociocognitivo más actual. Para dar cuenta de la complejidad de la construcción e interpretación de los géneros producidos en contextos profesionales, es necesario establecer puentes entre las distintas metodologías. En este trabajo consideramos las categorías de análisis que pueden permitir la integración de los enfoques presentados. Different approaches have been adopted to analyse professional discourses.
