Tiempo Mínimo-Conocimiento Suficiente: La Cuasi-Etnografía Sociotécnica en Psicología Social

Abstract: in social psychology as well as in various social sciences, ethnographic practice is characterized by the researcher?s participation in the daily lives of people over a long period. inherited from the anthropological tradition, the criterion of prolonged stay to do fieldwork has been dominant. we take distance from this requirement and propose that it is possible to generate sufficient knowledge in minimum time. our starting point is both quasi-ethnography and our practice as researchers. we assume actor-network theory and thick description as a bridge to a plausible theoretical and methodological knowledge production within a minimum time.
Music and drug trafficking in México. An approach to narcocorridos from the notion of mediator Música y narcotráfico en México.

Abstract: The narcocorrido is a contemporary musical expression in Mexico, and they are songs produced in a style called: música norte a, in which recreate stories of drug trafficking. The aim of this study is to explore the narcocorridos in the daily lives of young people. I am interesting in this genre and its fans. During my ethnographic fieldwork I focused on the practices, contexts, senses and mediators that link that kind of music with its audience. In this paper I develop the idea of mediation proposed by Actor-network Theory and Theory of Mediation, I explain how I have used it in the study of narcocorridos.

Relación entre hiperparatiroidismo y gamapatía monoclonal Relationship between hyperthyroidism and monoclonal gammapathy

Acta Medica Colombiana , 2007,
A 66-year-old man with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) and monoclonal gammapathy associated to it of uncertain significance (MGUS). A possible pathogenic relationship between HPTP and MGUS is analyzed. Interleukin 6 could play a pivotal role.

Abstract: glucose is the main energy supply for the cell and requires a transport protein to enter through cell membranes. two monosacharid transport systems have been described: sglt (sodium-glucose transporters) and glut (glucose transporters). in this article we review the main molecular, biochemical and functional characteristics of these monosacharid transporters.
How is glucose transported through cell membrane?

Iatreia , 2002,
Glucose is the main energy supply for the cell and requires a transport protein to enter through cell membranes. Two monosacharid transport systems have been described: SGLT (sodium-glucose transporters) and GLUT (glucose transporters). In this article we review the main molecular, biochemical and functional characteristics of these monosacharid transporters.

Abstract: objective. to assess the contribution of intimate partner violence (ipv) exposure, other traumatic events and posttraumatic stress disorder to chronic pain and depressive symptoms. methodology. cross sectional descriptive study. 150 women with a past history of ipv who lived in the metropolitan area of the city of cali (colombia), and were over 18 years old participated in the study. data were collected between june of 2009 and march of 2010. ipv, trauma exposure, posttraumatic stress, depressive symptoms and pain were measured with standard scales. information was analyzed using regression and multiple-scale analysis. results. more than 50% of the women from the sample were exposed to the typical types of violence: threatening, physical and sexual violence. usually a type of violence coexists with the other types. depressive symptoms and chronic pain were present in 72% and 74% of the patients respectively. conclusion. physical manifestations were not the ones that caused most of the effects over women?s health with ipv, but psychological manifestations as depressive symptoms and stress did. women exposed to ipv health approach should be conducted from a multidimensional view.
