Influence of agronomic variables on quality of tomato fruits  [PDF]
Marcos Hernández Suárez, Eladia Pe?a Méndez, Beatriz Rodríguez Galdón, Elena Rodríguez Rodríguez, Carlos Díaz Romero
Agricultural Sciences (AS) , 2011, DOI: 10.4236/as.2011.24054
Abstract: In order to study interactions between agronomic variables and chemical composition that determine the quality of tomato fruits, a group of statistical techniques were applied: discriminant analysis (DA), cluster analysis (CA) and princepal component analysis (PCA) combined with ANOVA. The results of DA when characterizing the agronomic parameters were successful, especially when the collection date was used as a factor for classification. CA showed the importance of the chemical variables related to the metabolic relationships, while the principal component analysis and ANOVA provide information on the interaction between variables related to the production and chemical composition of tomatoes. The combined use of PCA and ANOVA is a suitable tool for studying the complex interactions between agronomy and chemical composition. Collection date was the main agronomic parameter effected the chemical composition, while variety and production system had a minor effect. The application of PCAANOVA showed that the taste of tomato depends on three factors: sugars (glucose and fructose), acidity (citric, malic and ascobirc acids), and minerals (Na and Mg). For the tomatoes with same maturity degree, the taste depends on interaction of date collection and system production.

Abstract: in this article context we highlight the importance of family and personal relationships in the progress, development and treatment of persons who are in the care of us. these relationships may be formal or informal and they are a condition for a normal development. methodological difficulties present at daily work are a handicap or an obstacle that may make difficult to have a clear and global view of contacts and relations of our patients. and we may have a difficulty for us to know what type of groups are better for the treatment, or what type of groups we can advise to be activated or not, as alcoholic groups for alcoholic people. below we present concepts and basic instruments to be used by the nurse in a easy and practical way to represent both social network and individuals characteristics of the persons of the network, or at least those considered important by the professional. our professional practice shows that this is a valuable instrument to represent in a clear way and concisely the social structure of the patient and his network relationships, and so it can make easier both psychological and social treatment, as the monitoring of his illness and the integration of the patient in the healthy networks.
METODOLOGIA PARA LA PROSPECCION DE NIQUEL UTILIZANDO TECNICAS DE SENSORES REMOTOS
VARGAS CUERVO,GERMáN; RODRíGUEZ RODRíGUEZ,CARLOS A.;
Boletín de Ciencias de la Tierra , 2009,
Abstract: remote sensing is a technique to carry out constantly, it's allowing best ever applications in earth sciences and, specially, for mineral resources prospecting. its spectral characteristics to enable satellite products every day, with greater spectral bands discrimination with images from 9 bands as landsat etm bands 9 to 250 bands of hyperspectral images, it's the spatial resolutions from 1 or more kilometers to the meteorological ones at a few centimeters as quickbird or ikonos. anyway their internet free availability and the release of a large number of processing programs facilitate the use of this technique. this work presents a methodological research development for nickel prospection using remote sensing techniques and geological and geomorphological indicators. the proposed methodology comprises five main stages, as follows: a) identification of remote sensing and digital processing of satellite images, b) definition of geological indicators, c) identification of geomorphic indicators, d) in definition of evaluation model prospects and e) application of results. this methodology was applied in the study for cerro matoso sa in colombia in 48 potential areas of study located in the physiographic region of the caribbean, the region or geotectonic area known as cauca - romeral and the pacific region.

Abstract: relationship with the other is the main instrument working in mental health services, but it depends of the position of both observer and observed person. every science that use observation consider four elements: the observer, the observed facts, the searched information and observer rol. main personal factors of the professional are: theorical formation, language use and sociological and individual variables. this article describe these variables and their relations, to remember professionals that they must control them to palliate the effects, avoiding the bias when obtaining information.
Análisis de red en Salud Mental Network review by the mental health

In this article context we highlight the importance of family and personal relationships in the progress, development and treatment of persons who are in the care of us. These relationships may be formal or informal and they are a condition for a normal development. Methodological difficulties present at daily work are a handicap or an obstacle that may make difficult to have a clear and global view of contacts and relations of our patients.
Sierra,Carlos A.; Rodríguez,Yeinzon;
Revista de la Academia Colombiana de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales , 2011,
Abstract: at cosmological scales the universe looks isotropic and homogeneous, although there exist structures and empty space. one of the mechanisms for the spacetime evolution of the universe (not for its creation) is the inflation, proposed by alan guth, by means of which the universe experienced an accelerated expansion in fractions of a second and let the energetic content continue evolving until acquiring the structure that we may observe today. the scenarios that many scientists have proposed, including guth, are based on a fundamental scalar field called inflaton that ignites the primordial inflationary engine, maintaining the homogeneity and isotropy inherent to the nature of the field. in nature, those fields have not been observed yet, and this is the main motivation for searching another alternative that generates inflation, being one of them the vector fields. the aim of this work is to study the slow-roll inflation using primordial vector fields that maintain the characteristics of homogeneity and isotropy associated to the statistics of the large-scale structure, properties that have been observationally confirmed and predicted by the hubble law. this, in turn, leads to solve the classical problems of the standard cosmology.
