Study on Spatial Distribution of OM, N, P in Surface Soil around Lake Chaohu  [PDF]

Abstract:

The concentration of total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP) and organic material (OM) at sixty grid division in Lake Chaohu basin around the lake was studied, in order to investigate their spatial distribution characteristics. The results showed that the average concentrations of TN, TP and OM were 1027 mg/kg, 483 mg/kg, 1.95%, and their concentrations ranged from 253 mg/kg to 2273 mg/kg, 223 mg/kg to 1173 mg/kg and 0.291% to 5.48%, respectively. The high concentration areas were located at the basins of Tuogao river and Zhao river while the low concentration areas were located at basins of Pai river, Nanfei river and Dianpu river. The concentrations of TN and OM were higher in East part than in West part. The spatial distribution of TN, TP and OM concentrations of the surface soil showed inconsistent with those of the water quality of the inflow rivers and the lake and the TN and TP of lake sediment studied.

Abstract: 为了模拟富营养化状态下2种蓝藻在湖泊中的生长特征,采用大型室内湖泊模拟装置进行了模拟研究,并通过三角瓶实验以及光合作用速率的响应实验对模拟装置中藻的生长特征进行了分析.湖泊模拟装置中,铜绿微囊藻和孟氏颤藻在对数生长期的特征生长速率分别为0.43d-1和0.32d-1,但对数生长期很短,仅3~4d.在对数期后有一个很长的"线性期",即生物量随时间近似成线性增长.在氮、磷较为充分的条件下,由于较强的光合作用导致了水体pH的升高,以及生物量增高导致了藻的自遮蔽作用,使藻的生长容易出现碳源限制和光限制.受水下光的影响,2种藻细胞内叶绿素a含量在对数期内一直增大.随后颤藻细胞内叶绿素a含量又逐渐降低,而微囊藻细胞内叶绿素a含量仍保持较高的水平,其原因可能是微囊藻能适应更高的pH.
Constraints on the mass and radius of neutron stars from X-ray observations

Abstract: This article gives a very brief introduction about measuring the mass and radius of neutron star from X-ray observations. The masses and radii of neutron stars can be determined from photospheric radius expansion bursts in low-mass X-ray binaries, X-ray pulse profile modeling in accreting X-ray pulsars, gravitational redshift measurement in low-mass X-ray binaries and thermal X-ray spectral fitting in quiescent low-mass X-ray binaries.

Abstract: 通过恒温培养实验(250L培养基)表征了低强度 (发射功率20W) 定向发射超声波对惠氏微囊藻、孟氏浮游蓝丝藻、四尾栅藻以及菱形藻的生长影响,并通过超声波对大草履虫、大型蚤、稀有鮈鲫以及蜈蚣草的作用研究了其对水生生态的安全性.结果表明,超声波对蓝藻惠氏微囊藻的生长有较好的抑制作用,6d后生物量仅为对照组的32%;超声波对蓝藻孟氏浮游蓝丝藻、绿藻四尾栅藻以及硅藻菱形藻的生长也有一定的抑制作用,超声波作用10~13 d后,藻细胞密度比对照组低30%~33%.结果还表明,该强度的超声波对浮游动物草履虫和大型蚤、鱼类稀有鮈鲫以及沉水植物蜈蚣草的生长没有受到明显的影响.研究结果说明,低强度定向超声波可以对藻类生长产生抑制作用,而对水体中浮游动物、鱼类以及沉水植物等其它主要水生生物不产生明显影响.

Abstract: The effects of water depth gradient (0 cm, 30 cm, 60 cm) on vegetative growth and ramets of four typical emergent macrophytes (Scirpus validus, Acorus calamus, Typha orientalis, Zizania caduciflora) were examined in this study. We found that: 1) deep water (60 cm) significantly reduced the growth and number of ramets in these four species; 2) the species represented to increase shoot height along the water depth gradient, and there was a trade-off between the above and under ground parts; 3) there are no differences in the number of ramets between shallow water (30 cm) and control (0 cm) groups in Z. caduciflora and T. orientalis, while the individual biomass and rhizome length varied greatly; 4) less ramets and shorter rhizomes were found in shallow water than control group in S. validus; 5) A. calamus represented the lowest morphological plasticity along water depth gradient. We suggested that Z. caduciflora and T. orientalis would be favored at 30 cm depth, S. validus at 0 cm depth and A. calamus at both 0cm and 30 cm depths.

Abstract: 通过批量培养实验,测定培养过程中藻的生物量、光合放氧速率及浮力等的变化,研究了2种典型水华蓝藻-水华微囊藻及孟氏浮游蓝丝藻在不同温度下的生长和光合作用特征及浮力调控的机制结果表明,水华微囊藻在温度低于13℃时几乎不能生长,高于16℃能缓慢生长,且随着温度升高,生长速率增大;孟氏浮游蓝丝藻在温度为10℃时就能缓慢生长,当温度高于16℃时即能够较好生长;2种藻的生长速率在10~28℃范围内都随温度升高而增大.2种蓝藻在10℃以上均能进行光合作用,且在实验温度范围内(10~28℃)随温度的升高而增强当温度从28℃转至13℃以下温度培养时,2种蓝藻的浮力下降明显,细胞内伪空胞、糖及蛋白质的变化表明,糖的积累使细胞密度增大是细胞浮力下降的主要原因;在72h之内,水华微囊藻和浮游蓝丝藻细胞内糖含量分别增加了2.2倍和2.5倍,这说明温度降低至13℃以下,水华微囊藻下沉趋于休眠,而孟氏游浮蓝丝藻则趋于底栖继续生长;温度升高至13℃以上,水华微囊藻趋于复苏和上浮,而孟氏浮游蓝丝藻趋于浮游.

Abstract: 针对鱼腥藻和微囊藻这2种洋河水库水华暴发常见优势藻,研究了其在不同温度及硝态氮浓度下的生长情况。结果表明,在温度15~25℃,硝态氮浓度0.05~10 mg/L的范围内,温度的升高、硝态氮浓度的增加,对鱼腥藻的生长影响不明显,却能够明显地促进微囊藻的增长。15℃或0.05 mg/L硝氮条件下,鱼腥藻的比增长速率高于微囊藻,而25℃或10 mg/L硝氮时,微囊藻的比增长速率分别达到了0.425 d-1和0.466 d-1,明显超过鱼腥藻。洋河水库逐年升高的硝态氮浓度以及夏秋季节比较适宜的温度促进了微囊藻的增长,可能是洋河水库水华优势种由螺旋鱼腥藻向微囊藻转变的重要因素。

Abstract: 采用滇池不同湖区的湖水进行藻类生长潜力试验(AGP试验),研究了稳定环境下,氮、磷两种可控的水华诱导因素对滇池铜绿微囊藻生长潜力的影响。结果表明,滇池各个湖区藻类生长的主要控制因子并不一致,北部与西部湖区,磷是两湖区藻类生长的主要限制性营养物质;湖心与南部湖区,磷和氮都是蓝藻生长的主要控制因子,但它们单独作用都不能有效促进铜绿微囊藻的生长。实验N/P(质量比)在4~20之间,这一范围内N/P对滇池铜绿微囊藻生长没有显著影响。
First integrals for the Duffing-van der Pol type oscillator

Abstract: In this article, under certain parametric conditions, we study the first integrals of the Duffing-van der Pol-type oscillator equations which include the van der Pol and the Duffing oscillator systems, as particular cases. After making a series of variable transformations and applying the Preller-Singer method, we find the first integrals of the simplified equations without complicated calculations. Through the inverse transformations we obtain the first integrals of the original equations. Some statements in the literature are indicated and clarified.

Abstract: Many kinds of planktonic cyanobacteria possess gas vesicles, which interacts with light in a number of ways. To investigate the interactions, absorption spectra and turbidity of cyanobacteria suspension with intact and collapsed gas vesicles was analyzed, and absolute gas vesicle volume was determined. Light transmission in algal suspension was enhanced due to light scattering of gas vesicles in forward direction, on the other hand, increased cell volume by gas vesicles favored light absorption by intact cells and the effect was more evident in colonial and filamentous cyanobacteria. Light with longer wavelength (e.g. red light) had higher transmissionin cyanobacteria suspension than light with shorter wavelength, and similarly the effect was more evident in colonial and filamentous cyanobacteria. Due to the multiple scattering of light in colonial and filamentous cyanobacteria, measurement of relative gas vesicles volume by optical methods may result in great errors, instead of that capillary pressure tube method is suitable for the measurement of absolute volume of gas vesicles because colonial and filamentous cyanobacteria can be easily concentrated.
