An Analysis of Jahn-Teller Effect for C42+ Molecules with Td Symmetry Configuration

Abstract: The C42+ molecules with Td or D4h symmetry should take place Jahn-Teller distortion Based on Jahn-Teller effect theory and quantum theory, the Jahn-Teller distortion and the energy level splitting of the T*(e+l2)system for C42+ molecules with Td symmetry are studied in this paper by using the methods of group theory and symmetry analysis. The Hamiltonian of the system is separated into two parts by using unitary shift transformation, one part is the Hamiltonian of not having phonons excited, and the other part is the Hamiltonian of having phonons excited. From this, the ground states and their energies of the system in each minimum are obtained, and the corresponding excited states and their energies are also calculated, the Jahn-Teller distortion of the system is analyzed further by using group theory afterwards. It is found that there are six potential energy minima with C2 symmetry on the potential energy surface of the system because of the vibronic coupling. No matter which minimum the system is in , the original ground energy level of the system is split into three energy levels and the electronic degeneracy of the system is completely lifted, and the energy level interval aroused due to the distortion is enlarged with strengthening of the vibronic coupling strength. The symmetry of C42+ molecules should be lowered to C2 from Td with the Jahn-Teller distortion occurring, the symmetry of the ground electronic state of C42+ molecules is B2 under the group C2 after the Jahn-Teller distortion.

Abstract: Strains of Hirsutella sinensis Liu, Guo, Yu & Zeng were isolated from several fruits of Cordyceps sinensis (Berk.) Sacc. collected in Yunnan Deqin Bai Ma Snow Mountain by amended methods. The process of ascospores microcycle conidiation was illustrated and was taken as an evidence for determining our isolates as the anamorph of Cordyceps sinensis (Berk.) Sacc.
Fluctuations of a homeotropically aligned nematic liquid crystal in the presence of an applied voltage

Abstract: We determined the refractive-index structure-factor $S_n(\bf k)$ from shadowgraphs of fluctuations in a layer of a homeotropically aligned nematic liquid crystal with negative dielectric anisotropy in the presence of an ac voltage of amplitude $V_0$ applied orthogonal to the layer. $S_n(\bf k)$ had rotational symmetry. Its integral $P(V_0)$ and amplitude $B(V_0)$ increased smoothly through the Fr\'eedericksz transition at $V_0 = V_F$. Its inverse width $\xi(V_0)$ and its relaxation rate $\Gamma_0(V_0)$ had cusps but remained finite at $V_F$. The results are inconsistent with the critical mode at a second-order phase transition.

Abstract: During investigation and identification of fungi from Wuyi Mountains, Fujian Province, Huangshan Mountains, Anhui Province and Kunyushan Mountains, Shandong Province, three new Chinese records of Phaeosphaeria were found. They are Phaeosphaeria humerata, P. marciensis and P. typharum. Phaeosphaeria are usually saprophytic on dead stems or other wood of monocotyledon of Poaceae, Cyperaceae and Juncus. In this paper, morphological characters, illustrations and discussions of the species are provided and the specimens were deposited at mycology laboratory of Qingdao Agricultural University (MHQAU).
New Chinese records of saprophytic Leptosphaeria from Shandong Peninsula

Abstract: During investigation of saprophytic fungi on deadwoods collected from Shandong Peninsula, four new Chinese records of Leptosphaeria agnita, L. dumetorum, L. eustomoides and L. solani were found. In this paper, these species are described, illustrated and discussed, and a key to reported saprophytic species of Leptosphaeria from China is provided. The specimens are deposited in the Mycology Lab of Qingdao Agricultural University.
Measured oscillations of the velocity and temperature fields in turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection in a rectangular cell

Abstract: Temperature and velocity oscillations have been found in a rectangular Rayleigh-B\'{e}nard convection cell, in which one large scale convection roll exists. At $Ra=8.9 \times 10^{11}$ and $Pr=4$, temperature oscillation can be observed in most part of the system and the oscillation period remains almost constant, $t_T = 74 \pm 2$ seconds. Velocity oscillation can only be found in its horizontal component, $v_y$ (perpendicular to large scale circulation plane), near the cell sidewall, its oscillation period is also constant, $t_T = 65 \pm 2$ seconds, at these positions. Temperature and velocity oscillations have different Ra dependence, which are respectively indicated by Peclect number $Pe_T = 0.55Ra^{0.47}$ and $Pe_v = 0.28Ra^{0.50}$ . In comparison to the case of cylindrical cell, we find that the velocity oscillation is affected by the system geometry.
MicroRNA miR-491-5p Targeting both TP53 and Bcl-XL Induces Cell Apoptosis in SW1990 Pancreatic Cancer Cells through Mitochondria Mediated Pathway

Abstract: MicroRNA (miRNA) actively participates in a broad range of cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, cell survival and apoptosis. Deregulated expression of miRNA may affect cell growth and eventually lead to cancer. In this study, we found that hsa-miR491-5p (miR491-5p) displays a significantly high level of expression in normal human pancreas tissue versus pancreatic cancer cells. Targeted site prediction indicated that both Bcl-XL and TP53 contain miR-491-5p recognizing sites in their 3' UTRs. Overexpression of miR-491-5p in the pancreatic cancer cell line SW1990 effectively inhibited both endogenous Bcl-XL and TP53 gene expressions. Mutagenesis at the seed match region of both targeted genes further confirmed the specificity of miR491-5p recognition. Cell proliferation rate was inversely related to the increased doses of miR-491-5p. Flow cytometric analysis showed that the proportions of total apoptotic and early apoptotic cells were significantly induced as the dose of miR491-5p increased. Moreover, a mechanistic study indicated that miR-R491-5p-mediated cell apoptosis was associated with the activation of intrinsic mitochondria mediated pathways. miR491-5p also markedly inhibited mitogenic signaling pathways such as STAT3 and PI-3K/Akt, but not Ras/MAPK. Thus, our results demonstrated that miR491-5p could effectively target both Bcl-xL and TP53 and induce cell apoptosis independent of TP53.

Abstract: 研究了高能球磨过程中Al2O3的相变,随着球磨时间的延长,粉末中发生了γ-Al2O3向α—Al2O3的转变.高能球磨20h,Al2O3部分非晶化,同时,有立方AIN生成.增加球磨强度,立方AIN生成量增加,650r/min高能球磨40h,AlN生成量达到72%.随后的氮气气氛退火实验发现,在500℃以上,立方氮化铝与氧化铝反应,生成AlON相.AlON相的生成,有效地降低了碳热还原氮化反应激活能.

Abstract: 采用L8(27)正交设计研究了3种化学物质赤霉素(GA)、钼酸铵(Mo)、双氰胺(DCD)对盆栽莴笋产量、硝酸盐含量和营养品质的影响。结果表明,3种化学物质配施使莴笋增产10.7%~41.6%,其效应为Mo>GA>DCD;莴笋茎、叶硝酸盐含量分别降低21.8%~54.5%和4.3%~40.2%,其作用均为GA>DCD>Mo;莴笋茎Vc和氨基酸含量降低,水分增加;叶片Vc和氨基酸含量增加,水分无明显差异;莴笋施Mo明显增加茎和叶Mo含量,但食用安全。综合评价莴笋的产量、卫生安全和营养品质,以A1B1C1处理(GA25mg/L Mo150mg/L DCD12.5mg/盆)最理想。
