Abstract: Tongue diagnosis is a profound and special part of the whole traditional Chinese medicine, and knowledge of tongue diagnosis is the basis for many computer applications such as automated diagnosis and therapy, medical instruction and training, and natural language processing. This paper introduces a domain-specific ontology of tongue diagnosis, it has been built 9 categories about TCM tongue diagnosis and other relevant categories.

Abstract: Pawlak proposed the rough set model, in order to processing data and knowledge which are imprecise or uncertainty in artificial intelligence. Then, the rough set model has been extended and many new rough set models have been put forward. Inhere are two main methods of extension, one method is to weaken the dependence of equivalence relation, the other is to expand the domain from one to two, and Y. Y. Yao ever proposed a rough set model of two-do-main. In this paper, we made some research for Cartesian product rough models based on two(finite) approximation spaces, and gave the concept of product approximation space. Afterwards, we described the upper(lower) approximation of decomposable subsets of a Cartesian product, and the approximate precision and roughness of decomposable subsets.Finally, we studied the decomposable problem of Cartesian product rough models, and obtained the sufficient and necessary conditions of decomposition of a product approximation space.

Abstract: 事件推理的研究需要事件的知识作支撑。事件知识作为一种常识性知识,其获取仍然是知识获取的瓶颈。提出一种事件知识分析方法,以从多个视角分析事件的前提和后果知识。在对事件知识分析中遵循基础分析、知识丰富、知识优化的流程。针对分析过程中所得知识不够全面和准确的问题,总结得出生理、心理、社会、物理世界4个常识知识角度,同时在知识丰富步骤中提出了角色细化的方法。实验表明,此方法能够得到较为全面和准确的事件知识。

Abstract: 许多研究人员认为人们是以事件为单位来体验和认识世界的。以动词为核心的事件,把实体概念有机地联系、组织起来,在丰富实体概念间静态联系的同时,也构成了用以表示动态过程的基本单元。但是,事件知识却不容易从文本中直接获取。提出了一个以一个事件作为核心挖掘与之相关联的事件的方法。该方法在充分利用句法分析的基础之上,从二元词语扩展到语义更丰富的多个词语,挖掘到了相关的事件短语。在此基础上,机器标注了事件短语的人物角色,最终发现了相关事件与核心事件间的角色联系。实验结果显示,提出的方法从受限的文本语料里得到了大量的相关事件和角色联系,并取得了较高的准确率。

Abstract: Extracting translation of Chinese term and oov words is an important problem in many applications such as machine translation and cross-language information retrieval. However, these translations are difficult to access from traditional dictionary. hhis paper proposed a method to automatically extract English translation of Chinese term from Web by search engine. It constructs three ctuery modes using the partial translation of terms, proposes multi-featured extraction method. Aim at the problem of low accuracy and unrelated translations, it verifies the candidate translations by three verification modes: side analog alignment verification, Bilingual alignment degree verification and word-building verification. Experimental results show that TOPl accuracy arrives 97. 4 %and TOP3 98. 3%.

Abstract: There is a large amount of knowledge on the Web pages. How to intelligently acquire knowledge from the massive information on Web pages has become a very important task. Concepts as well as inter-conceptual relations and inter-attribute relations of concepts are the main parts of knowledge. Therefore how toacquire and verify concepts is an important step in the knowledge acquisition. This paper proposes a hybrid approach to automatically extract concepts from large Web corpus. The hybrid approach makes use of rules, statistic, and context information to identify and verify concepts. The experiment shows very good performance of this method for extracting concepts.

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce an ontology-mediated method for medical knowledge acquisition and analysis. Using the method we establish an ontological structure and ontologies for the Medical Knowledge Base (or NKIMed). To check the consistency of the acquired knowledge, we use a set of medicine-specific axioms. These axioms are also used in knowledge inference, and interconnection between different medical concepts. Finally, two applications of NKIMed, i.e. intelligent teaching systems and speech diagnosis are illustrated.

Strategy Representation and Application in Air Battle Planning

Abstract: Strategies are important in human problem solving. In the computer-aided air battle planning, strategies from human commanders must be considered as one of the key components. The paper mainly consists of two parts. Firstly, a method is introduced to describe plan strategies by means of strategic components. There are generally six key factors that influence the effectiveness of an air battle plan. For these factors we design six basic strategic components, and we have used the components to construct four typical strategies in air battle planning. Secondly, a comprehensive computational framework is designed based on planning strategies and Structured Optimization Model (SOM), in which planning strategies impact on the SOM in two aspects: influencing the key parameters of SOM, and adding new constraints to the SOM. Using this framework, we can obtain a group of operational plans corresponding to different strategies.
