Sobreeducación y desfase de conocimientos en el mercado laboral de profesionistas
Burgos Flores, Benjamín;
Revista de la educación superior , 2008,
Abstract: several studies made in different countries showed that an important number of graduated students from higher education, work in places where they do not need an university degree or do not use the knowledge and skills acquired. with this work we want to make a contribution to the labor market of graduated students in mexico, starting with information achieved by surveys made on graduated students, and their employers, from a public state university. based on econometric analysis, the evidence shows the existence of a phenomena called an overdose of education plus a lack of coordination between knowledge and its negative effects on wages thus validating the theory of the heterogeneous knowledge.
Efectos de la sobreeducación y el desfase de conocimientos sobre los salarios y la búsqueda de trabajo de profesionistas: Resultados de un estudio basado en opiniones y percepciones de egresados universitarios y empleadores
Burgos Flores, Benjamín;López Montes, Karla;
Perfiles educativos , 2011,
Abstract: in this article the authors analyze the presence of overeducation and how knowledge is totally out of phase in the labor market of graduate students of a mexican public university. starting from the data gathered from surveys to graduate students and their respective employers the authors construct variables in order to carry out mincer ordinary regressions that help to measure the effects of both phenomena on wages and logistic binary regressions to calculate their impact on the search for an alternative job. the authors find evidence that allow them to assert that professionals who are in a situation of educational and knowledge gap have lower wages and therefore tend more to search for alternative jobs.

Magnetic properties of Co/Cu/Py antidot films
J. C. Denardin,E. Burgos,R. Lavín,S. Vojkovic,J. Briones,M. Flores
Physics , 2014, DOI: 10.1109/TMAG.2014.2331973
Abstract: The magnetic properties of ordered nanoscale Co/Cu/Py multilayer antidot films with different pore sizes prepared on top of nanoporous alumina membranes are presented. By using Co and Py films separated by a Cu thin layer, and tuning the pore diameters of the NAMs we were able to play with the coercivity of the films and observe stepped magnetization curves, as a consequence of the different coercivities of the Co and Py films. The magnetic properties of the multilayer antidots have been measured and compared with results obtained for antidots of Cu/Py. The magnetization reversal process that occurs in each individual layer and in the multilayer was studied by means of micromagnetic simulations.
Contradiction between Conservation Laws and Orthodox Quantum Mechanics  [PDF]
M. E. Burgos
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2010.12019
Abstract: In this paper, it showed that the orthodox version of quantum mechanics contradicts the idea that conservation laws are valid in individual processes of measurement.
Evidence of Action-at-a-Distance in Experiments with Individual Particles  [PDF]
M. E. Burgos
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2015.611168
Abstract: We make a brief historical revision of action-at-a-distance in quantum mechanics. Non-locality has been mostly related to systems of two particles in an entangled state. We show that this effect is also apparent in some experiments with individual particles. An easily performed experiment in this regard is introduced.
Success and Incoherence of Orthodox Quantum Mechanics  [PDF]
M. E. Burgos
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2016.712132
Abstract: Orthodox quantum mechanics is a highly successful theory despite its serious conceptual flaws. It renounces realism, implies a kind of action-at-a-distance and is incompatible with determinism. Orthodox quantum mechanics states that Schrödinger’s equation (a deterministic law) governs spontaneous processes while measurement processes are ruled by probability laws. It is well established that time dependent perturbation theory must be used for solving problems involving time. In order to account for spontaneous processes, this last theory makes use of laws valid only when measurements are performed. This incoherence seems absent from the literature.
Zeno of Elea Shines a New Light on Quantum Weirdness  [PDF]
María Esther Burgos
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2017, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2017.88087
Abstract: After a brief reference to the quantum Zeno effect, a quantum Zeno paradox is formulated. Our starting point is the usual version of Time Dependent Perturbation Theory. Although this theory is supposed to account for transitions between stationary states, we are led to conclude that such transitions cannot occur. Paraphrasing Zeno, they are nothing but illusions. Two solutions to the paradox are introduced. The first as a straightforward application of the postulates of Orthodox Quantum Mechanics; the other is derived from a Spontaneous Projection Approach to quantum mechanics previously formulated. Similarities and differences between both solutions are highlighted. A comparison between the two versions of quantum mechanics, supporting their corresponding solutions to the paradox, shines a new light on quantum weirdness. It is shown, in particular, that the solution obtained in the framework of Orthodox Quantum Mechanics is defective.
Unravelling the Quantum Maze  [PDF]
María Esther Burgos
Journal of Modern Physics (JMP) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/jmp.2018.98106
Abstract: The restoration of philosophical realism as the basis of quantum mechanics is the main aim of the present study. A spontaneous projection approach to quantum theory previously formulated achieved this goal in cases where the Hamiltonian does not depend explicitly on time. After discussing the most relevant flaws of orthodox quantum mechanics, a formulation of the spontaneous projections approach in the general case is introduced. This approach yields experimental predictions which in general coincide with those of the orthodox version and overcomes its main flaws.

Revista médica de Chile , 2001, DOI: 10.4067/S0034-98872001001200009
Abstract: a 68 years old male presented with right hypochondrium abdominal pain and jaundice with no other clinical finding. cat scan and ultrasonography showed right lobe bile duct dilatation. magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography gave an outstanding vision of a restricted right lobe bile duct dilatation associated to choledocholithiasis. a right hepatectomy and bile duct exploration were performed. the histopathological study disclosed a caroli disease associated to a primary cholangiocarcinoma. caroli disease is a congenital disorder characterized by intrahepatic cystic bile duct dilatation with a high risk association with cholangiocarcinoma (rev méd chile 2001; 129: 1433-8)
