Theoretical Exploration of Tourism, Postmodernity and Reason —With the Discussion of the Tourism Appeal to Neo-Rationalism  [PDF]

Abstract: Nowadays, postmodern tourism has gradually became a trend, which triggers some new changes to tourism format, while postmodernism on the anti-rationality inevitably brings great challenge to tourism behavior forms and tourism ethics. Through analysis on the inner relationship between tourism, postmodernism and reason, the paper reveals the value pursuit of postmodern tourist behavior, and points out the coherence between the reason ultimate pursuit and the tourism spirit pursuit, and in some sense, tourism performs the role of one way that modern people’s longing to real reason and the subjective world’s maturity. In the end, the paper emphasizes that being faced with the explicitness of postmodernism drawbacks in tourism, no doubt need reason, especially Neo-Rationalism to direct tourism ethics and tourism civilization, which eventually be conducive to the true, the good and beauty of social system.
Light-Emitting Diode-Based Illumination System for In Vitro Photodynamic Therapy

Abstract: The aim of this study is to develop a light-emitting diode- (LED-) based illumination system that can be used as an alternative light source for in vitro photodynamic therapy (PDT). This illumination system includes a red LED array composed of 70 LEDs centered at 643 nm, an air-cooling unit, and a specific-designed case. The irradiance as a function of the irradiation distance between the LED array and the sample, the homogeneity and stability of irradiation, and the effect of long-time irradiation on culture medium temperature were characterized. Furthermore, the survival rate of the CNE1 cells that sensitized with 5-aminolevulinic acid after PDT treatment was evaluated to demonstrate the efficiency of the new LED-based illumination system. The obtained results show that the LED-based illumination system is a promising light source for in vitro PDT that performed in standard multiwell plate.

Abstract: Analysis and research on a novel method of constructing wavelets-lifting factorization is addressed. To arrive at a generalized interpretation of lifting based on the linear transform and transform matrix factorization, a new polyphase matrix representation is proposed. Moreover the equivalence of the conditions for perfect reconstruction between dual-subband FIR filtering implementation and the lifting is also proved. Additionally based on the duality theorem of complementary filter pairs, a new lifting factorization representation is suggested which brings lifting factorization to completion. Finally, to clarify the theory a concrete example of lifting factorization corresponding to (2, 2) biorthogonal wavelet transform is presented, and the algorithm performance including reversibility, in-place implementation ard computational complexity is also analyzed in brief.

Abstract: In adaptive array, channel mismatch may severely degrade an array's performance, one solution is adaptive compensation with taps added to each channel, however, implementation in real time of this method is impossible if there are too many mismatched channel ripples because a good many taps are needed. An adaptive channel compensation method based on bandwidth partitioning is proposed in this paper which can resolve effectively the above problem. Theoretical analysis and computer simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract: In research [1], the authors investigate the dynamic behaviors of a discrete ecological system. The period-double bifurcations and chaos are found in the system. But no strategy is proposed to control the chaos. It is well known that chaos control is the first step of utilizing chaos. In this paper, a controller is designed to stabilize the chaotic orbits and enable them to be an ideal target one. After that, numerical simulations are presented to show the correctness of theoretical analysis.

In this analysis, the single crystal of schiff base has been synthesized and the purity of material has been increased by repeated recrystallization process. Single crystal was grown by adopting the method growing in a slow evaporation solution using ethanol as solvent at room temperature. A new fluorescent molecule based on Schiff base has been synthesised and its binding properties investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy to show that it can selectively bind Cu2+ with fluorescence quenching.

Mathematical Reasoning of Economic Intervening Principle Based on “Yin Yang Wu Xing” Theory in Traditional Chinese Economics (I)  [PDF]

By using mathematical reasoning, this paper demonstrates the economic intervening principle: “Virtual disease is to fill his mother but real disease is to rush down his son” and “ Strong inhibition of the same time, support the weak” based on “Yin Yang Wu Xing” Theory in Traditional Chinese Economics (TCE). We defined generalized relations and generalized reasoning, introduced the concept of steady multilateral systems with two non-compatibility relations, and discussed its energy properties. Later based on the intervening principle of TCE and treated the economic society as a steady multilateral system, it has been proved that the intervening principle above is true. The kernel of this paper is the existence and reasoning of the non-compatibility relations in steady multilateral systems, and it accords with the oriental thinking model.

Influence Factor Analysis on Strength of Lime-Fly Ash Loess  [PDF]

Abstract: Lime-fly ash loess is composed of fly ash, lime and loess. It is a new material in subgrade backfill. Main factors to influence the strength of lime-fly ash loess are age, amount of fly ash and lime, ratio of fly ash to lime (1:K), and moisture content. In order to observe the effect of each factor influencing the strength of lime-fly ash loess and find out the relationship between each other, this paper adopted orthogonal test design to conduct unconfined compression tests. The result shows that 90d strength can be considered to calculate the strength of lime-fly ash loess in practice. And the most important factor to influence the 90d strength of lime-fly ash loess is the amount of fly ash and lime, the second is moisture content, and then is the ratio of fly ash to lime (1:K). These achievements are significant to the design and application of lime-fly ash loess in subgrade construction of loess areas.
