Dan a: sentido estético em discuss o
Lívia Tenorio Brasileiro
Movimento , 2012,
Movimento , 2002,
Abstract: The study uses, as a reference, considering on what means, in critical theory on Education and of Physical Education - the Formation, Curriculum, and Pedagogical Practice, to recognize the links determinations and approaching demands that call forth criticism. It's objective is to present a proposition that could explain on how to deal with Dance knowledge, into Physical Education discipline, using connections in references of Critical Theory of Education. It examines the action-research approaching, based on planning, implementation, and evaluation of the whole process of one teaching unit inside Physical Education discipline, that has Dance knowledge, in the teaching cycles - four classes, in a public school.
Finding Volunteers' Engagement Profiles in Human Computation for Citizen Science Projects
Lesandro Ponciano,Francisco Brasileiro
Computer Science , 2015, DOI: 10.15346/hc.v1i2.12
Abstract: Human computation is a computing approach that draws upon human cognitive abilities to solve computational tasks for which there are so far no satisfactory fully automated solutions even when using the most advanced computing technologies available. Human computation for citizen science projects consists in designing systems that allow large crowds of volunteers to contribute to scientific research by executing human computation tasks. Examples of successful projects are Galaxy Zoo and FoldIt. A key feature of this kind of project is its capacity to engage volunteers. An important requirement for the proposal and evaluation of new engagement strategies is having a clear understanding of the typical engagement of the volunteers; however, even though several projects of this kind have already been completed, little is known about this issue. In this paper, we investigate the engagement pattern of the volunteers in their interactions in human computation for citizen science projects, how they differ among themselves in terms of engagement, and how those volunteer engagement features should be taken into account for establishing the engagement encouragement strategies that should be brought into play in a given project. To this end, we define four quantitative engagement metrics to measure different aspects of volunteer engagement, and use data mining algorithms to identify the different volunteer profiles in terms of the engagement metrics. Our study is based on data collected from two projects: Galaxy Zoo and The Milky Way Project. The results show that the volunteers in such projects can be grouped into five distinct engagement profiles that we label as follows: hardworking, spasmodic, persistent, lasting, and moderate. The analysis of these profiles provides a deeper understanding of the nature of volunteers' engagement in human computation for citizen science projects
Logistic Architecture Based on Models  [PDF]
Tania Regina Brasileiro A. Teixeira, Márcio Lopes Pimenta
iBusiness (IB) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ib.2014.64020
Abstract: The article identifies the essential dimensions in relation to outsourced logistic management, through a study of the outsourcing process of a large Brazilian wholesaler distributor’s logistic activities. The author has developed a management tool able to guide and direct the outsourcing operators of integrated logistic services so as to allow them to organize their management system. The author proposes a logistic architecture based on models which will facilitate the managerial work and transform the logistic system into a strategic skill, thus leveraging its ability to compete in the market. This idea is focused on the client, and is capable of integrating and managing all the interface elements of the logistic system, connecting and joining all of them in order to perform more organized and structured logistic activities. Therefore, the logistic architecture based on models represents the nature and structure of a logistic system as well as determines the way for it to operate.

Brasileiro, Antonio Luiz da Silva;
Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia , 2000, DOI: 10.1590/S0066-782X2000000900004
Abstract: objective: to evaluate the use of thrombolytic and acetylsalicylic acid therapies in acute myocardial infarct patients as well as the availability of technical and human resources for the care of these patients in the emergency units of the city of rio de janeiro. additional objectives were the evaluation of the use of primary angioplasty and the level of acceptance of sbc /rj as an entity responsible for programs of continued medical education. methods: interviews with physicians at 46 emergency units in the city of rio de janeiro. results: of the 46 emergency units inspected, a policy of encouragement to use thrombolytic therapy was only prescribed in 6.5%. in 1/3 of the public wards no thrombolytic agents were available, and in none of them was access to primary angioplasty regularly available; 45.9% did not offer the minimal conditions required for the handling of cases of acute myocardial infarction; 60% of the physicians on-call (at both public and private emergency units), appeared not to know the importance of the use of acetylsalicylic acid in acute myocardial infarct patients; all physicians interviewed would participate in programs of continued medical education organized by the sbc/rj. conclusion: the study suggests there was: 1) the low probability of the use of thrombolytic therapy in the majority of the emergency units in of the city of rio de janeiro due to the inadequate policy of waiting for the transfer of the patient to coronary or intensive care unit; 2) a low awareness to the importance of early use of acetylsalic acid in acute myocardial infarct; 3) half of the emergency units of the public net do not have the minimal conditions required for the handling of cases of acute myocardial infarction; 4) a high level of credibility exists that would enable the sbc/rj to set up programs for continued medical education to change the mentality regarding the use of thrombolytic therapy and of acetylsalicylic acid.

PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Dan a - Educa o Física - Prática pedagógica. We have analyzed dance as a content in School Physical Education Classes. We understand that there is a lack of discussion on dance as a content to be approached in the school environment. We recognize its presence at school, either via Physical Education classes or via Art Education classes. Its presence, however, occurs out of the context of the discussion about cultural selection, undertaken by the school syllabi. This study is part of the dissertation “Knowledge in the school syllabi: the content dance in physical education classes on an analytical perspective”. KEY WORDS: Dance - Physical Education - Pedagogical practice.
