Educa??o da classe trabalhadora: Marx contra os pedagogos marxistas

Abstract: contemporary marxist pedagogues have proposed a single polytechnic school as a condition for the education of the "new man" that socialist society requires. this position assumes that marxism must expand through the inclusion of culture among its themes. this is so because the proletariat should be educated to make the socialist ideal come true. this papers tries to demonstrate that this was the position of german social-democracy at the time of the second international and that this position was opposed to marx's ideas. marx believed that the new man already existed and was the proletariat, its being necessary to free him from salaried work. the immediate measure of this would be a reduction in the work day, because time is a prerequisite for human development. the reduction of the work day without a corresponding pay cut was regarded as crucial for changing the way of life. in the same movement, the regulation of the work of women and of children and youths of both sexes would be required, being combined, in the case of the latter, with schooling.
COMPARA O DAS CONDI ES SANITáRIAS ENTRE AS ALFACES CULTIVADAS E COMERCIALIZADAS NA CIDADE DE ARARAQUARA – SP

Abstract: RESUMO: Com vistas a uma avalia o das condi es sanitárias das alfaces comercializadas em Araraquara – SP, foram analisadas 100 amostras desse vegetal, sendo 50 delas coletadas em 10 diferentes hortas e outras 50 nos correspondentes locais de comercializa o, após 24 horas. Em cada amostra foram realizadas as determina es do NMP de coliformes totais, coliformes fecais e de Escherichia coli, e pesquisa de Salmonella. A análise dos resultados obtidos, sempre apresentando valores de NMPs comparativamente menores para as amostras obtidas diretamente do produtor, sugere conduta n o adequada durante lavagem, manipula o e transporte da alface. Dentre as 100 amostras analisadas, 13 (26%) provenientes dos locais de comercializa o e 3 (6%) obtidas diretamente dos produtores apresentaram valores de coliformes fecais acima dos 200/g permitidos pela legisla o brasileira. Cabe ainda salientar que em nenhuma amostra se obteve isolamento positivo para Salmonella. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Hortali as; coliformes; Salmonella.
INSTITUINDO SIGNIFICADOS DE “TRABALHO DOCENTE” POR MEIO DE DISSOCIA O DE NO ES

Abstract: Como em qualquer defini o a de “trabalho docente” decorre de alguma compara o. Compara-se o trabalho docente com alguma das profiss es liberais determinando o que falta para que venha a ser como estas. Se “trabalho docente” for considerado um emprego, se o compara com outros em institui es similares ou, ainda, com os postos trabalho em geral, pondo em cena a no o de n o autonomia ou de autonomia restrita. Esta compara o também pode conduzir à caracteriza o de trabalho objetivado em oposi o ao subjetivo, dentre outras. O objetivo deste artigo é expor algumas dessas compara es para esbo ar uma revis o conceitual que pode originar argumentos mais pertinentes a respeito do trabalho docente. O que foi realizado por uma análise do corpus discursivo do debate contemporaneo acerca de “trabalho docente”, do qual foram extraídas as principais compara es e argumentos. N o apresento uma revis o dos trabalhos e autorias por n o se tratar de uma hermenêutica. Nossa análise explicita o uso da técnica argumentativa dissocia o de no es que estabelece a divis o de uma no o usual em dois termos, em que o segundo é apresentado como o pleno de qualidades e o primeiro como o que n o as possui, estabelecendo uma hierarquia entre seus significados.

Abstract: Dados estatísticos e pesquisas acadêmicas apontam que a trajetória escolar do sujeito negro é significativamente mais acidentada que a do sujeito branco. Dentre os elementos que legitimam tal quadro de desigualdade social se destaca a discrimina o racial. Age and disease-related structural changes in the retinal pigment epithelium

Abstract: Vera L BonilhaCole Eye Institute, The Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH, USAAbstract: As the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) ages, a number of structural changes occur, including loss of melanin granules, increase in the density of residual bodies, accumulation of lipofuscin, accumulation of basal deposits on or within Bruch’s membrane, formation of drusen (between the basal lamina of the RPE and the inner collagenous layer of Bruch’s membrane), thickening of Bruch’s membrane, microvilli atrophy and disorganization of the basal infoldings. Although these changes are well known, the basic mechanisms involved in them are frequently poorly understood. These age-related changes progress slowly and vary in severity in different individuals. These changes are also found in age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a late onset disease that severely impacts the RPE, but they are much more pronounced than during normal aging. However, the changes in AMD lead to severe loss of vision. Given the many supporting functions which the RPE serves for the retina, it is important to decipher the age-related changes in this epithelium in order to understand age-related changes in vision.Keywords: retinal pigment epithelium, aging, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), ocular disorders, retinal disease

Abstract: Beaches and other coastal ecosystems were always considered recreational places with high aesthetic value. In Brazil these ecosystems were the first places that had attracted the formers Environmental Educators’ attention. The huge relation between researchers and study subjects, approached marine environmental researchers as oceanographers and biologists for educational activities, aimed to environmental conservation. These activities since 1980’s had consolidated important projects along all Brazilian coastline, so that, most of them with great community involvement, attaining national expression. These examples state the great historical binding among Environmental Education (E.E.) and environmental workers, which stills exists until now. Despite the law advances, the Environmental Education is being introduced at the Brazilian college, with a historical delay. The insertion in to basic and highschool educational system generally makes part of widespread initiatives, without support of formal projects and also theoretical and methodological background. Within this scenario highlights the importance of social function of University as into the academic knowledge development, as than into technical support for insertion of E.E. into the highschool and basic levels. This responsibility withstands with the great lack of graduating courses in E.E. in Brazil and a needing of carrying out E.E. into the academic place such as knowledge field, researching subject and teaching. In this point of view, the Environmental Education Laboratory – Laboratório de Educa o Ambiental / LEA – of UNIVALI, located at the Center of Technological Science of Earth and Sea (CTTMar), is helping out the insertion of E.E. into the University curriculum. At the present it’s working out within courses at the environmental sciences area, producing and spreading out experiments and pedagogic practices in E.E. at the coastal zone and performing of partnerships with community based social movements, and social groups, such as Environmental NGO’s, and also city halls in to the center-north area of Santa Catarina state coastal zone. As praias e os demais ecossistemas litoraneos, sempre foram locais de recrea o e elevado valor estético, destacando-se como o primeiro ambiente a atrair a aten o dos Educadores Ambientais pioneiros do Brasil. Abstract: the world and its people are in a state of continuous transformation, construction and constitution by which the agent and the environment reciprocally affect one another through several established roles. this essay investigates the way in which social technology contributes to the process of construction and constitution of the esperan?a rural village craftsmen's identity by their insertion of transformation technology (both social and human) in their milieu and its incorporation during the execution of the seda justa project. the themes, such as social technology and identity, are currently debated and give rise to an interdisciplinary dialogue. all types of transformation and form of entrepreneurship/organization leave their significant marks on professional and personal relationships with regard to labor. consequently, this fact requires further studies and research. identity is always affected by cultural meanings and varies according to the situation that is experienced and the history of the subjects' lives. the method of life history for data collection and hermeneutics as an interpretation basis were chosen. through the participants' reports and memories, this study produced the exteriorization of their experiences and feelings: what they value, what they think, feel and do, and thus the construction process of their identities and their constitutive elements.

Abstract: the objectives of this paper were to generate data on physical composition and muscle:bone, muscle:fat and edible portion:bone ratios of the loin of ewes slaughtered at different physiological stages in addition to the possible correlations among the variables analyzed in this study. twenty-one santa inês ewes were distributed to the following physiological stages: el = ewes which remained in lactation for 60 days with their respective lambs and slaughtered at one day after weaning of the lambs; ewl = ewes which remained in lactation for 60 days with their respective lambs and one more period of approximately 30 days without the lambs and slaughtered afterwards; and enp = ewes which remained in confinement for 60 days and did not give birth during the year. muscles and edible and intermuscular fat percentages were similar among physiological stages. the slaughter of ewes at different physiological stages altered the edible portion:bone of the loin ratio. higher proportions of subcutaneous fat correspond to lower amounts of intermuscular fat in loin or vice-versa.
