An improved AC-amplifier for electrophysiology
Jorgovanovi? Nikola,BojaniDubravka,Ili? Vojin,Stani?i? Darko
Journal of Automatic Control , 2009, DOI: 10.2298/jac0901007j
Abstract: We present the design, simulation and test results of a new AC amplifier for electrophysiological measurements based on a three op-amp instrumentation amplifier (IA). The design target was to increase the common mode rejection ratio (CMRR), thereby improving the quality of the recorded physiological signals in a noisy environment. The new amplifier actively suppresses the DC component of the differential signal and actively reduces the common mode signal in the first stage of the IA. These functions increase the dynamic range of the amplifier's first stage of the differential signal. The next step was the realization of the amplifier in a single chip technology. The design and tests of the new AC amplifier with a differential gain of 79.2 dB, a CMRR of 130 dB at 50 Hz, a high-pass cutoff frequency at 0.01 Hz and common mode reduction in the first stage of the 49.8 dB are presented in this paper.
E Actitrode: The new selective stimulation interface for functional movements in hemiplegics patients
Bijeli? Goran,Popovi?-Bijeli? Ana,Jorgovanovi? Nikola,BojaniDubravka
Serbian Journal of Electrical Engineering , 2004, DOI: 10.2298/sjee0403021b
Abstract: We describe the new multi-contact electrode-array for surface electrical stimulation, and the corresponding interface device that allows on-line selection of the conductive fields during the application of the system. This new device has a specific value for therapeutic applications of electrical stimulation since it allows effective generation of desired functional movements. The user-friendly interface also allows patients at home to select the optimal electrode array; thereby, to receive therapies out of the clinical environment. The electrode was tested in three post-stroke hemiplegics patients. The pilot experiments showed that system works sufficiently good for control of fingers during grasp and release functions without the interference of the wrist movement. The use of electrode is also envisioned for many other applications (foot-drop fitness, shoulder subluxation, etc).
Optimization of cellulose acrylate and grafted 4-vinylpyridine and 1-vinylimidazole synthesis

Hemijska Industrija , 2010, DOI: 10.2298/hemind100401043b
Abstract: Optimization of cellulose acrylate synthesis by reaction with sodium cellulosate and acryloyl chloride was carried out. Optimal conditions for conducting the synthesis reaction of cellulose acrylate were as follows: the molar ratio of cellulose/potassium-t-butoxide/acryloyl chloride was 1:3:10 and the optimal reaction time was 10 h. On the basis of elemental analysis with optimal conditions for conducting the reaction of cellulose acrylate, the percentage of substitution of glucose units in cellulose Y = 80.7%, and the degree of substitution of cellulose acrylate DS = 2.4 was determined. The grafting reaction of acrylate vinyl monomers onto cellulose in acetonitrile with initiator azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN) in a nitrogen atmosphere was performed, by mixing for 5 h at acetonitrile boiling temperature. Radical copolymerization of synthesized cellulose acrylate and 4-vinylpyridine, 1-vinylimidazole, 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone and 9-vinylcarbazole, cellulose-poly-4-vinylpyridine (Cell-PVP), cellulose-poly-1- vinylimidazole (Cell-PVIm) and cellulose-poly-1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidinone (Cell-P1V2P) and cellulose-poly-9-vinylcarbazole (Cell-P9VK) were synthesized. Acrylate cellulose and cellulose grafted copolymers were confirmed by IR spectroscopy, based on elementary analysis and the characteristics of grafted copolymers of cellulose were determined. The mass share of grafted copolymers, X, the relationship of derivative parts/cellulose vinyl group, Z, and the degree of grafting copolymers of cellulose (mass%) were determined. In reaction of methyl iodide and cellulose-poly-4-vinylpyridine (Cell-PVP) the cellulose-1-methyl-poly-4-vinylpyridine iodide (Cell-1-Me-PVPJ) was synthesized. Cellulose acrylate and grafted copolymers were obtained with better thermal, electrochemical and ion-emulation properties for bonding of noble metals Au, Pt, Pd from water solutions. The synthesis optimization of cellulose acrylate was applied as a model for the synthesis of grafted lignin copolymers and grafted tannin polymers with vinyl monomers.
The figures of (a)symmetry: 'Pirates' and the world as a closed commercial state
Bojani? Petar
Theoria, Beograd , 2010, DOI: 10.2298/theo1004005b
Abstract: My intention is not to simply evoke Schmitt's critique of Kant's ideas concerning preemptive war and the unjust enemy - as we all know, these ideas were not Kant's nor is their critique original; after all, both Kant and Schmitt are simply brilliant compilers in international law - rather, I want to preliminarily demonstrate that every project concerning the constitution of an empire, league of nations or world government (or world governance) implies a paradoxical existence of an ambiguous 'exterior' (outside, without). It seems that the existence (or nonexistence) of something 'outside' of the world or 'outside' of borderless sovereignty, is a precondition for any theory of empire. .
Benjamins 'Revolution re Gewalt' und Rotte Korahs Der Aufstand gegen Moses als erste Szene des Messianismus (Num. 16)

Theoria, Beograd , 2008, DOI: 10.2298/theo0802019b
'Cet arrière-go t de violence': On violence against violence
Bojani? Petar
Filozofija i Dru?tvo , 2010, DOI: 10.2298/fid1001051b
Abstract: I will attempt to explain the connection between violence (someone's violence) and my own or Levinas's or the State's violence as a response to the initial violence (Violence against Violence) and finally the violence which remains in the mouth, throat, aftertaste [gout] or in disgust [degout]. 'Cet arrière-go t de violence' or 'un quelconque arrière-go t de degout' [a sort of aftertaste of disgust].

The enemy, his gestalt of animal (Schmitt’s and Hegel’s animal functions)
Bojani? Petar
Filozofija i Dru?tvo , 2003, DOI: 10.2298/fid0323213b
Abstract: The main cause of Schmitt’s and Kojève’s friendship, and consequently, their correspondence, lies in their common affinity for philosophy of Hegel. When they began corresponding in 1955, Schmitt was something of an academic pariah; in 1933, the legal scholar had joined the Nazi Party, publicly declared his anti-Semitism, was later interrogated (but not charged) at Nuremberg, and retired from his post at the University of Berlin in 1946. After his famous lectures on Hegel’s Phenomenology ended in 1939, Kojève joined the Resistance. At the end of the World II War, he wound up in the French ministry of economic affairs, where he worked until his death in 1968. This text is written on the margins of two letters, one written on 14.XII.1955. by Schmitt and the other, Kojève’s answer, dated on 4.I.1956. The subject of those two letters is the interpretation of the enemy in philosophy of Hegel. .
Last war or a war to make the world safe for democracy: Violence and right in Hannah Arendt
Bojani? Petar
Filozofija i Dru?tvo , 2006, DOI: 10.2298/fid0631079b
Abstract: Paraphrased within the title of this text is a note Hannah Arendt made in August 1952. After reading Carl Schmitt’s Nomos der Erde, Arendt tries to confront Schmitt’s idea of a just war. In the text I attempt to reconstruct Arendt’s readings of differing political philosophy texts within the context of her thinking concerning the relationship between violence and power, force and law. Arendt’s refusal to accept the existence of violence which can "conquer" freedom and "create" right and democracy, brings contradiction to the great tradition of the followers of Marx, to whom Arendt undoubtedly belongs: how is and is revolutionary violence even possible and does violence as resistance to injustice bring justice?.
Sacrifice: Mot, institution, devenir-institutionnel. franz rosenzweig et la lutte contre les institutions

Filozofija i Dru?tvo , 2009, DOI: 10.2298/fid0902059b
