Review of Short-Selling and Private Placement  [PDF]

Chinese securities market introduced the margin financing and securities trading mechanism in 2010, which is considered to be a major step forward in stabilizing the stock market. Recent scholars’ research found that the short-selling mechanism can not only stabilize the stock market, but also generate external governance effects on the company. As a high-efficiency and low-cost refinancing method, private placement has been a research hotspot of Chinese scholars since the official launch of China’s capital market in 2006, especially the transfer of interests of major shareholders in the process of private placement. Therefore, this article provides a literature review of short selling mechanisms and private placements.
Müllerian Adenosarcoma of the Vaginal Stump: A Case Report and Literature Review  [PDF]

Abstract: Müllerian adenosarcomas are rare mixed tumors with low malignant potential, and occur mainly in the uterus. Primary adenosarcomas arising in vaginal endometriosis are even more rarely reported. We report a very rare case with Müllerian adenosarcoma arising from vaginal endometriosis. A 43-year-old nulliparous woman has a history of endometriosis. Due to two parallel fistulas in cervix, severe endometriosis and adenosarcoma, she has undergone radical and multiple surgeries. After the surgery, persistent vaginal vault masses were noticed, and eight resections of the polyps at vaginal stump were performed. For the first six resections, all the pathological examinations showed endometriosis. And the last two resections demonstrated vaginal adenosarcoma. Transition between Müllerian adenosarcoma and endometriosis was gradual. Finally, adenosarcoma associated with endometriosis was diagnosed from recurrent vaginal masses. To our knowledge, this report is the sixth case that primary adenosarcomas arising in vaginal endometriosis. But chemo-therapy and radiation therapy were not taken and the patient remained in a good condition throughout the 9-year follow-up period. In addition, we present a review of the literature. The diagnosis and treatment of the tumor are also discussed.

Abstract: In the title compound, C17H20N2O2S2, the five-membered heterocycle exhibits an envelope conformation and the molecular chirality and configuration are well preserved from l-tartaric acid. The dihedral angle between the two thiophene rings is 17.0 (2)°. In the crystal, molecules are linked by C—H...O and C—H...S hydrogen interactions, which are effective in the stabilization of the crystal structure.

Abstract: In the title compound, C24H28N2O4, the dioxalane ring has an envelope conformation. The cyclohexane ring adopts a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 72.5 (3)°. The molecular conformation is stabilized by two intramolecular O—H...N hydrogen-bonding interactions with an S(6) graph-set motif. The crystal structure is stabilized by van der Waals interactions.

Abstract: Courses are the link between teachers and students. The matching degree of the curriculum and the students’ future development largely affects the future competitiveness of students and students’ satisfaction with the school specialty. Based on industrial engineering specialty of Nanchang University, this article applies fishbone diagram to analyze the direction of students’ future development, and uses questionnaire to collect students’ preference of the future development, and analyzes the collecting data by AHP (analytical hierarchy process). Combining with the weight of the direction of future development and the importance of courses, we find a new combination of curriculum and a plan of rearrangement. By comparing the results with the existing curriculum program, we ultimately find a more scientific way to rearrange the curriculum.
Two component dark matter with multi-Higgs portals

Abstract: With the assistance of two extra groups, i.e., an extra hidden gauge group $SU(2)_D$ and a global $U(1)$ group, we propose a two component dark matter (DM) model. After the symmetry $SU(2)_D\times U(1)$ being broken, we obtain both the vector and scalar DM candidates. The two DM candidates communicate with the standard model (SM) via three Higgs as multi-Higgs portals. The three Higgs are mixing states of the SM Higgs, the Higgs of the hidden sector and real part of a supplement complex scalar singlet. We study relic density and direct detection of DM in three scenarios. The resonance behaviors and interplay between the two component DM candidates are represented through investigating of the relic density in the parameter spaces of the two DMs masses. The electroweak precision parameters constrains the two Higgs portals couplings ($\lambda_m$ and $\delta_2$). The relevant vacuum stability and naturalness problem in the parameter space of $\lambda_m$ and $\delta_2$ are studied as well. The model could alleviate these two problems in some parameter spaces under the constraints of electroweak precision observables and Higgs indirect search.
Impact of a complex singlet: From dark matter to baryogenesis

Abstract: With the assistance of a complex singlet, and a effective operator involving CP violations, the dark matter relic abundance and baryon asymmetry of the universe (BAU) are accommodated simultaneously. The mechanism Electroweak baryogenesis (EWBG) is studied systematically: from the necessary condition strong first order electroweak phase transition (SFOEWPT) to BAU generation. The SFOEWPT takes one step or two steps due to the dynamics of the energy gap of the Electroweak vacuum and the vacuum of the complex singlet with the temperature cooling down. Two steps case always give rise to higher magnitude of BAU.
Interference Effect on Resonance Studies and the Diboson Excess

Abstract: The interference between resonance signal and continuum background can be either constructive or destructive, depending on the relative sign of couplings between the signal and background amplitudes. Different interference schemes lead to asymmetric distortions of the resonance line shape, which could be distinguished in experiments, when the internal resonance width is larger than the detector resolution. The ATLAS diboson excesses are viable candidates to see such a line shape difference from reversing the sign of resonance couplings. Interpreting the $WZ$ excess events by means of a toy $W'$ model, we find that the current $\sim$ 2 TeV data show no significant preference for either of the two interference schemes, due to the limited statistics and large reducible non-interfering background. However, if the diboson excesses are confirmed by the upcoming 14 TeV LHC data, the signs of resonance couplings can be revealed in the line shape measurements up to a high confidence level at the 3000 fb$^{-1}$ luminosity, even more than $5\sigma$ in the trileptonic $WZ$ decay channel, therefore giving us further information on the underlying theory.

Abstract: A semiconductor optical amplifier and electroabsorption modulator monolithically integrated with a spot-size converter input and output is fabricated by means of selective area growth,quantum well intermixing,and asymmetric twin waveguide technology.A 1550~1600nm lossless operation with a high DC extinction ratio of 25dB and more than 10GHz 3dB bandwidth are successfully achieved.The output beam divergence angles of the device in the horizontal and vertical directions are as small as 7.3°×18.0°,respectively,resulting in a 3.0dB coupling loss with a cleaved single-mode optical fiber.
