Coes?o discursiva nos Estudos de execu??o transcendental de Liszt: as últimas sete pe?as
Bento, Daniel;
Per Musi , 2010, DOI: 10.1590/S1517-75992010000100004
Abstract: it seems to be urgent the investigation upon the cohesive processes in the transcendental studies by franz liszt: the emergence of a unified whole is already suggested in the tonal plan that coordinates them. the examination of other aspects that could guarantee unity - related to specific materials of the compositions - is this text's main concern. its focus is the subset formed by the last seven pieces of the group, and that is justified by the fact that they show a particular affiliation, the ascending leap of sixth preceded by different forms of emphasis. the theoretical basis adopted is an adaptation of dahlhaus' concept of subthematicism, which supports the methodological procedure: the analytical approach. the results show connections based not only on harmonic phenomena, but also on the recurrence of flexible materials that are object of transformations. hence, it is possible to substantiate the cohesion of the selected pieces and the relevance of the integration processes in liszt's volume.
Na escola se aprende que a diferen?a faz a diferen?a
Bento, Berenice;
Revista Estudos Feministas , 2011, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-026X2011000200016
Abstract: this article explores the limits of social institutions in dealing with the subjects fleeing gender norms. i will focus mainly on the responses given by schools to students whose gender performance departs from what is considered normal.

Abstract: The present article aims to describe parts of a project about the analysis of the ludic behavior of chi ld ren in the water, linked to a program to teach swimming. It analyses the main theories on the binomial growth and learning, theories of games and the behavior of children in the water. This article intends to help on reconsidering new activities for children in the water.
Interpolation of compact non-linear operators
Bento AJG
Journal of Inequalities and Applications , 2000,
Abstract: Let and be two Banach couples and let be a continuous map such that is a Lipschitz compact operator and is a Lipschitz operator. We prove that if is also compact or is continuously embedded in or is continuously embedded in , then is also a compact operator when and . We also investigate the behaviour of the measure of non-compactness under real interpolation and obtain best possible compactness results of Lions–Peetre type for non-linear operators. A two-sided compactness result for linear operators is also obtained for an arbitrary interpolation method when an approximation hypothesis on the Banach couple is imposed.
Neutrino Oscillations: a source of Goldstone fields
Luis Bento
Physics , 1997, DOI: 10.1103/PhysRevD.57.583
Abstract: It is proved that true Goldstone bosons develop coherent fields whenever the associated charges of the matter particles are not conserved in a macroscopic scale. The sources of the Goldstone fields are the time rates of quantum number violation. The case of neutrino flavour oscillations is studied with application to Supernovae. It is shown that if the Lepton numbers break at the Fermi scale, the neutrino potentials and oscillation patterns change in the periods of largest neutrino fluxes. In this way, electron anti-neutrino to muon anti-neutrino oscillations may occur in the first instants of neutrino emission.
Recent Development on Collective Neutrino Interactions
Luis Bento
Physics , 1999,
Abstract: Quantum Field Theory is applied to study an electron plasma under an intense neutrino flux. The dispersion relation of the longitudinal waves is derived and the damping rate is calculated. It is shown that in the case of Supernova emission the neutrinos are not collimated enough to cause plasma instabilities associated to a strong neutrino resonance effect.
Neutrino Oscillations: a source of Goldstone fields and consequences for Supernovae
Luis Bento
Physics , 1998,
Abstract: It is shown that true Nambu-Goldstone (NG) bosons develop coherent fields whenever the associated charges of the matter particles are not conserved in a macroscopic scale. The sources of the NG fields are the time rates of quantum number violation. If the lepton numbers are spontaneously broken at a scale below 1 TeV, the neutrino oscillation processes generate classic NG fields that are strong enough in Supernovae to modify the neutrino flavor dynamics. The oscillation patterns may change in the periods of largest $\nu $ fluxes. Two examples are given: 1. the back reaction of a NG field improves the adiabaticity of the $\nu_{e}$ resonant conversion; 2. ${\bar{\nu}_{e}} \leftrightarrow {\bar{\nu}_{\mu}}$ oscillations may occur even if $\nu_{e}$ is the lightest of the neutrinos.
