Abstract: El artículo propone un ejercicio de inspiración científica en una fuente literaria, partiendo de considerar el lugar positivo de la imaginación y la incertidumbre en la investigación social. Esta idea es recuperada de algunos aportes de la Historia Cultural, que –desde los trabajos de Ginzburg, Darnton, Chartier y Davis- reflexionan en torno a la intertextualidad y los préstamos culturales. Con el objetivo de problematizar un proyecto de investigación en sus etapas iniciales, ofrecemos una lectura de la última novela de la escritora nicaragüense Gioconda Belli, El país de las mujeres, en relación al tema de interés, la legitimidad de las desigualdades de género en Comodoro Rivadavia (Chubut, Argentina). La propuesta es poner en cuestión la hipótesis preliminar de pensar a aquella ciudad petrolera como un territorio masculino, a partir de la inserción hegemónica de los varones en el mercado de trabajo. En ese marco, y siguiendo a Belli, nos preguntamos cómo sería un país de mujeres y qué nos permite ver la novela en relación al propio objeto de estudio.

Abstract: In Peru, there is a growing need for housing, especially for families in extreme poverty; as well as occurrence of earthquakes and environmental degradation. That is the reason why new solutions with quality, accessible and ecological are searched. Studies in Peru and other countries have shown the cane or bamboo goodness as structure earthquake resistant, distribution, enclosure or decorative. However, its use for social housing is limited; population uses it in a precarious way. In this context, the Domoca a Roof was proposed by the Architecture School of the National Engineering (UNI). Trials of static charges carried out in the Laboratory of Seismic Research Centre and Disaster Mitigation (CISMID-UNI) were satisfactory. The experimental houses built using the improved technology of adobe and Domoca a roof resisted dynamic loads in the earthquakes of Moquegua (2003) and Pisco (2007) without suffering any damage. UNI, by order of the Commission of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation of Peru, and to give technical standard, is studying the physical and mechanical properties of the material to establish design parameters and construction conditions for the use of cane and bamboo buildings. En Perú, hay una creciente necesidad de vivienda, en especial para las familias de extrema pobreza; además de ocurrencia de sismos y deterioro del medio ambiente. Es por esto que se busca nuevas soluciones con calidad, accesibles y ecológicas. Estudios realizados en Perú y otros países han mostrado la bondad de la ca a o bambú como estructura sismo resistente, de distribución, cerramiento o decorativa. Sin embargo, su uso para vivienda de interés social es limitado; la población la usa en forma precaria. En ese contexto, se propuso y se desarrolló el techo Domoca a en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI). Fueron satisfactorios los ensayos de cargas estáticas en el Laboratorio del Centro de Investigaciones Sísmicas y Mitigación de Desastres (CISMID–UNI). Las viviendas experimentales que se construyeron utilizando la tecnología mejorada del adobe y el techo domoca a resistieron cargas dinámicas en los sismos de Moquegua (2003) y Pisco (2007) sin sufrir da o alguno. La UNI, por encargo de la Comisión del Ministerio de Vivienda, Construcción y Saneamiento del Perú, y con el fin de dar la norma técnica, está estudiando las características físicas y mecánicas del material para establecer parámetros de dise o y condiciones constructivas para el uso de la ca a y bambú en edificaciones.
Una cartografía de la ense anza de la filosofía en territorio argentino

Abstract: I intend to make a cartography of the itineraries followed by the teaching of philosophy in Argentina in order to show several existing perspectives and its most outstanding figures. I am interested in showing how the proposals concerning the transmission of philosophical knowledge to non-philosophers are based in a stand regarding what philosophy is con-sidered to be or what it should be. At the same time, these proposals are inserted in a national political history that prevents didactic reductionism, which is very frequent when tackling problems related to the teaching of philosophy. For such drawing, I will dwell upon the relations the authors propose with respect to the norms that govern institutions. This dimen-sion becomes relevant given that the authors are considering the teaching of philosophy in formal school settings. With the intention of avoiding an evolutionary historical drawing, I have preferred to draw this map. This is only one of the many possible, whose aim is to sketch four lines of thought, which, according to my perspective, coexist without overcoming each other: all current and validated when it comes to ta-ckling and building a teaching philosophy proposal.

Abstract: During the first ten years that followed “The Decade of the Brain”, the quest of neuroscience for understanding brain function in health and disease has greatly expanded to include molecular, developmental, cognitive and evolutionary aspects of the nervous system. This increased multidisciplinary effort has been complemented by the spectacular development of highly sophisticated experimental methods. Neuroscientists can now perform studies ranging from molecular and imaging analysis of single pre- and postsynaptic neuronal processes to imaging of neural activity in the whole brain during perceptual and motor behavioral tasks. At the same time, theoretical advances in neuroscience have been aided by the rapid development of mathematical and computational simulations of biologically and functionally realistic single cells and complex neural networks across multiple spatiotemporal scales. Therefore, neuroscientists are more than ever in a position to deliver answers to basic, medical and biotechnological questions related to brain function and dysfunction. [...]
Redescripción de los estados preimaginales de Rachiplusia nu (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

Abstract: the immature stages of rachiplusia nu (guenée) are redescribed and illustrated, according to current standards of descriptive patterns. the immature stages of r. nu were obtained from laboratory cultures under controlled conditions of temperature at 27 ± 2oc, 14:10 (light/darkness) artificial photoperiod and 70-75% of relative humidity. for the first time, the larval instars previous to the larvae mature are described. all immature stages were compared with those of pseudoplusia includens (walker), with which they can often be confused in the field. the estimation of the larval age allowed to determine that the highest rate of growth takes place in the fourth larval instar and then decreases gradually to mature larva.

Abstract: Se redescriben e ilustran todos los estados preimaginales de Rachiplusia nu (Guenée) de acuerdo a estándares actualizados de patrones descriptivos. Los estados inmaduros de R. nu fueron obtenidos a partir de crías de laboratorio, bajo condiciones controladas de 27 ± 2oC de temperatura, 14:10 (luz/oscuridad) de fotoperíodo artificial y 70-75% de humedad relativa. Por primera vez, se describen todos los estadios larvales previos al de larva madura. Todos los estados inmaduros fueron comparados con aquellos de Pseudoplusia includens (Walker), con los que usualmente pueden ser confundidos a campo. La estimación de la edad larval permitió determinar que la mayor razón de crecimiento se verifica en el cuarto estadio larval y de allí decrece paulatinamente hacia larva madura. Abstract: this academic piece of paper details the research project work on "information and communication technologies in the school", which is currently being developed at instituto de formación docente no 6, in chivilcoy, bs. as. there exists a certain amount of agreement on the need to apply icts in the school sceneario, though it has been recognized that the main obstacle found is to transform that accord into concrete didactic procederes. for this, it is necessary to appraise varied present pieces of educational discourse to know what sorts of courses of action tend to foster or block, encourage or discourage, in this context. existing social meanings about subjects (students and educators), icts and the knowledge about the school will be analyzed, having as a criteria the building of a representative corpus of the discursive plurality. the concept of "possible semiotic world/s" allows us to deal with the contrast among the representations of the different social actors, and explain the interactions between the juvenile interpretations and the educators' ones. cognitive semiotic and discourse analysis are assumed as the methodological perspective where to design the research work from. when recognizing the constructive power of the diverse social dicourses, it is stated that distinct discoursive formations (foucault 1970) shape distinct objects and social practices. as a contribution to this investigation, from "la universidad de la calle", it is proposed to explore both, pedagogic-intitutionalized behaviours, as well as those extra-institutional ones, which emerge and develop in connection to the acquired knowledge in the work with icts. moreover, the evaluation of the possible influence of icts into the improvement of educational practices and the construction of individual and collective learning strategies are to be considered.
