Estas teorias, entretanto, esgotaramsediante da falta de uma teoria de base, quepudesse explicitar de forma coerente as diversasmatizes desta complexa rela o.Since the end of the Second WorldWar, there were several important attemptsin order to succeed on understanding therelation between legal system and ondevelopment promotion. This paper focuson reviewing several theories that, throughthe history, looked for understanding therelations between jurisprudence anddevelopment process. These theories,however, went down due to the lack of a basictheory, that could make clear and coherentlydiverse shades of this complex relation.
Inverse problems in multifractal analysis
Julien Barral
Mathematics , 2013,
Abstract: Multifractal formalism is designed to describe the distribution at small scales of the elements of $\mathcal M^+_c(\R^d)$, the set of positive, finite and compactly supported Borel measures on $\R^d$. It is valid for such a measure $\mu$ when its Hausdorff spectrum is the upper semi-continuous function given by the concave Legendre-Fenchel transform of the free energy function $\tau_\mu$ associated with $\mu$; this is the case for fundamental classes of exact dimensional measures. For any function $\tau$ candidate to be the free energy function of some $\mu\in \mathcal M^+_c(\R^d)$, we build such a measure, exact dimensional, and obeying the multifractal formalism. This result is extended to a refined formalism considering jointly Hausdorff and packing spectra. Also, for any upper semi-continuous function candidate to be the lower Hausdorff spectrum of some exact dimensional $\mu\in\mathcal M^+_c(\R^d)$, we build such a measure. Our results transfer to the analoguous inverse problems in multifractal analysis of H\"older continuous functions.
Imuniza??o específica nas leishmanioses tegumentares: revis?o
Barral Netto, M.;Barral, A.;
Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1987, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761987000200019
Abstract: we have reviewed the literature on specific immunoprotection against tegumentary leshmainias. papers dealing with human beings as well as with experimental animals have been included. the review is divided into there main topics: 1) studies attempting protection by using virulent parasites of the same strain; 2) the use of parasites, virulent or not, for preventing other strains of leishmania; and 3) the use of "attenuated" parasites, or parasite products, for inducing protection against the infection.
A simple method for assessing the binding of concanavalin A to mononuclear cell surfaces: no interference of visceral leishmaniasis serum on this binding
Barral-Netto, Manoel;Barral, A.;
Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz , 1986, DOI: 10.1590/S0074-02761986000300012
Abstract: we report a simple method for evaluating the binding of concanavalin a (cona) to human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (pbmc). the binding is evidenced by an immunoenzymic assay using peroxidase-conjugated immunoglobulins of a rabbit anti-cona serum. using the method we show that sera from patients with american leishmaniasis do not interfere with binding of cona to pbmc.
La gestión integrada y la dinámica de sistemas: Criterios a aplicar en los laboratorios clínicos
Acta bioqu?-mica cl?-nica latinoamericana , 2007,
Abstract: it is recognized that in order to manage some health services in which clinical laboratories are included, some criteria derived from the hard sciences are at the same time applied, as observed in the scientific and operative planning and other criteria from the social sciences, like the ones used for staff or economic-administrative management. when the quality of these services is managed, the so called organized complexity that supposes the existence of explicit mechanisms, in work activities like the ones posed by shewart-deming, and other implicit ones, like those that confer a systemic character to management, comes up. the same type of management by processes is present in both models, where the resources are included in an entry or input and where the exit or output is the consequence of the work done through transformation processes. the service or result value is set by the interface among processes and by the feedback generated, this understood as the control plus communication that allow, among other things, to balance the system, to later correct it, in some cases to improve it, and in other few cases to innovate it. both approaches are complementary and some national and international regulations that refer to quality systems and integrated system managements (sig) are based on them. these criteria, modeled or not, link the laboratory as an open system considering its many internal and external interests, and enable a strategic planning and replanning as the core of the management. in this case, an example of the interfaces generated among the quality, environment, and occupational safety and health systems is shown. the way the recognition of the systemic mechanism influences the management of integrated systems (sig) applied to the clinical laboratory is discussed.
