Abstract: Recently, Williams [1] and then Yao, Xia and Jin [2] discovered explicit formulas for the coefficients of the Fourier series expansions of a class of eta quotients. Williams expressed all coefficients of 126 eta quotients in terms of \"\" and \"\" and Yao, Xia and Jin, following the method of proof of Williams, expressed only even coefficients of 104 eta quotients in terms of \"\" and \"\" . Here, by using the method of proof of Williams, we will express the even Fourier coefficients of 360 eta quotients i.e., the Fourier coefficients of the sum, f(q) + f(?q), of 360 eta quotients in terms of \"\" and \"\".

Abstract: This research explores the hypothesis that the relationship between need for cognitive structure (NCS) and the use of cognitive biases is moderated by the perceived ability to achieve cognitive structure (AACS). NCS is defined as the extent of preference to use cognitive structuring vs. piecemeal processing as a means to achieve certainty. AACS refers to the extent to which individuals believe that they are able to use information processing processes (cognitive structuring or piecemeal) that are consistent with their level of NCS. To examine this hypothesis, Study 1 explored the effect of the NCS by AACS interaction on the use of confirmation bias. Study 2, demonstrated this effect on the use of framing heuristic. The results of the two studies confirm the hypothesis.

Abstract: Invention and innovation, always important, become ever more so in these fast changing and competitive times. They are in addition primarily dependent upon the dynamic behavior of the human mind. Our underlying purpose here is to examine these creative processes and to provide means to make them more effective. This is a timely effort because our understanding of perception and its interpretation by the human brain is very rapidly advancing. Even experimental insights into mental activity can be determined with rapidly increasing effectiveness. The framework of our discussion is that of evolution dynamics, and the scientific bases are rapidly developing neural sciences. However the bulk of our discussion deals with a specific example: the replacement of process scale chromatography by membrane-mediated steady counterflow in downstream processing. We do this because inventive activities must depend upon intimate knowledge of the systems available.

Abstract: In this paper, operational matrices of Bernstein polynomials (BPs) are presented for solving the non-linear fractional Logistic differential equation (FLDE). The fractional derivative is described in the Riemann-Liouville sense. The operational matrices for the fractional integration in the Riemann-Liouville sense and the product are used to reduce FLDE to the solution of non-linear system of algebraic equations using Newton iteration method. Numerical results are introduced to satisfy the accuracy and the applicability of the proposed method.

Abstract: The main aim of this work is to introduce the analytical approximate solutions of the water wave problem for a fluid layer of finite depth in the presence of gravity. To achieve this aim, we begun with the derivation of the Korteweg-de Vries equations for solitons by using the method of multiple scale expansion. The proposed problem describes the behavior of the system for free surface between air and water in a nonlinear approach. To solve this problem, we use the well-known analytical method, namely, variational iteration method (VIM). The proposed method is based on the use of Lagrange multipliers for identification of optimal value of a parameter in a functional. The proposed method provides a sequence of functions which may converge to the exact solution of the proposed problem. Finally, we observe that the elevation of the water waves is in form of traveling solitary waves.

Abstract: In this study, we examine male blue gourami (Trichogaster trichopterus) nest-building behavior that is affected by other males and interactions under experimental conditions. Males found in the area control the territory and sexual behavior, and are influenced by the behavior of other males. The results of this study show that the sexual behavior (nest-building) of male blue gourami is affected both by the behavior and pheromones of other males. We suggest that males must defend their territories in order to prevent these two factors from interfering in nest-building.

A Difficult Choice for Newspapers: Advertisers or Readers?

Abstract: Almost entire advertisement revenues are acquired by newspapers in print media. Along with rapid technological developments and the intensive competitive climate in newspaper sector; the gulf between high cost and low revenue has widened, and newspapers are obliged to subsidize this deficit with advertisement revenues. Newspapers in Turkey have two separate groups of customers. The first one of those groups is the advertisers and the other is the readers of that newspaper. Due to economic reasons, this compulsory dependency on advertisement revenue causes newspapers to fall into a paradox between advertisers and readers. In this article we will firstly explain advertisement and its place in marketing; then give information about the advertising sector and the distribution of Turkish advertising pie among media. Later, the relation between advertisers and readers that place newspapers in difficult circumstances will be explicated in detail, analysis and assessments will be made regarding about it.

Abstract: 21st century; where technological improvements progress rapidly, has brought numerous changes in both commercial and social sense. Consumers’ demands and needs undergo changes thus companies’ search of alternative methods increase in means of satisfying their demands and meeting their expectations. Especially as internet ‘invaded’ every area of our lives with its positive/negative aspects, all the barriers between the manufacturer and consumer have been removed. Consequently, a structure has come into the picture where consumer could concurrently comment and take an active role in the process. ‘Social Media’ is one of the most critical and effective platform formed as internet, new media and communication technologies come together. Social Media; described as the general code for a super structure that infinite users denote all sorts of opinions like Facebook, Twitter and blogs; has become one of the areas where business world attach great importance in means of brand value and feel necessity to strategize on. In this study, firstly information regarding brand concept will be given and content of social media will be emphasized. Subsequently, observations will be made on use of social media in automotive sector and analysis will be realized on Fiat’s methods in using social media.
