The Different Using of Language Between Sexes

Abstract: Sex differences are a topic of perennial interest in our society. But it is not generally understood that most sex differences are the result of social, not biological. In the present article, the differences between women and men are presented from the angle of sociolinguistics. During the analysis, the writer emphasize on the three following aspects: 1) Different diction; 2) Different syntactic approach; 3) Different communicative strategies. We hope that through the study a better understanding of the differences between the genders can be achieved. Linguistic differences are merely a reflection of social differences, and as long as society views women and men as different—and unequal—then differences in the language of women and men will persist. Key words: gender, sociolinguistics, communicative strategies, syntactic approach Résumé: La différence de sexe entre les êtres est un sujet de conversation éternel de notre société. Mais le commun des mortels ne comprennent pas le fait que les origines de cette différence sont d’ordre plut t social que physiologique. Dans l’article présent, l’auteur met l’accent sur trois points : premièrement, la différence de choix du terme ; deuxièmement, celle de syntaxe, troisièmement, celle de technique de communication. Nons espéront que nos recherches peuvent contribuer à une meilleure connaissance de la différence de sexes. La différence langagière n’est qu’un miroir de la différence sociale. Tant que nons voient les femmes et les hommes d’un oeil différent ou inégal, cette différence de langue subsistera pour toujours. Assessment and protective strategy of black muntjac habitat in Zhejiang, China

Abstract: Habitat degradation and loss had been widely recognized as the main cause for the decline of wildlife population. Habitat assessment can provide essential information for wildlife refuge design and management. In this article, a systematic study on the black muntjac distribution, habitat quality, and spatial pattern was conducted. Initially, the main factors that influence the black muntjac habitat quality were identified, and habitat assessment criteria were set up. The vegetation, topographic, river, road, and village maps were then digitized by the geographical information system (GIS). Finally, the habitat distribution and quality were assessed based on the combination of vegetation, elevation, river system, and impact of human activities. The result showed that the potential habitat for black muntjac covered an area of 3172.6 hm2, and 501.5 hm2 of habitat in the Jiulong Mountain Natural Reserve was lost because of the degradation caused by human activities. The existing suitable habitat is 2671.1 hm2, mostly distributed in Shangliaokeng, Jiulongshan, Neibeiping, Waijiulong, and Dayanqian in Gutian, Zhejiang Province, China.

Abstract: A kernel optimization method based on fusion kernel for high-resolution range profile (HRRP) is proposed in this paper. Based on the fusion of l1-norm and l2-norm Gaussian kernels, our method combines the different characteristics of them so that not only is the kernel function optimized but also the speckle fluctuations of HRRP are restrained. Then the proposed method is employed to optimize the kernel of kernel principle component analysis (KPCA) and the classification performance of extracted features is evaluated via support vector machines (SVMs) classifier. Finally, experimental results on the benchmark and radar-measured data sets are compared and analyzed to demonstrate the efficiency of our method.

Abstract: This article introduces an adaptive sorting algorithm that can relocate elements accurately by substituting their values into a function which we name it the guessing function. We focus on building this function which is the mapping relationship between record values and their corresponding sorted locations essentially. The time complexity of this algorithm O(n),when records distributed uniformly. Additionally, similar approach can be used in the searching algorithm.

Abstract: PM3 method was used in this paper to optimize cellulose molecular structure which is the main component of biomass and a series of struc-tural parameter was attained. The single chain of cellulose (the degree of polymerization is 9) was simulated in different force fields by mo-lecular dynamic method. Energy history, depo-sition temperature and the cracked groups of simulation process in different force fields was gotten, of which Amber force field is quite matched to the experiments data. By simulating the process of cellulose thermal decomposition with MD which is based on Amber force field and quantum mechanics, we get the sequence of bond break of cellulose molecule and the first cracked group. Also, the first production was analyzed. The heating process includes two stages: vibrate at low temperature and break at high temperature (273k-375k) and breaking stage when the temperature of the system ar-rived at 375K.

Abstract: The interaction between dehydroeburicoic acid (DeEA), a triterpene purified from medicinal fungi and the major transport protein, human serum albumin (HSA), were systematically studied by fluorescence spectroscopy, synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy, three-dimensional fluorescence spectroscopy and molecular docking approach under simulated physiological conditions. The intrinsic fluorescence of HSA was quenched through the combination of static and dynamic quenching mechanism. DeEA cannot be stored and carried by HSA in the body at higher temperature. The hydrogen bonding, hydrophobic force and van der Waals force were major acting forces. The site II was the major binding site. The energy transfer could occur with high probability and the binding distance was 3.29 nm. The binding process slightly changed the conformation and microenvironment of HSA. The DeEA molecule entered the hydrophobic cleft of HSA and formed the hydrogen bonding with Glu-492 and Lys-545.
Modification of Low Molecular Weight Polysaccharides from Tremella Fuciformis and Their Antioxidant Activity in Vitro

Abstract: In this study, sulfated low molecular-weight Tremella fuciformis polysaccharides(SLTP) with different sulfate contents were synthesized and their antioxidant activities,including superoxide anion radical, 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH) radical andhydroxyl radical scavenging activities were investigated. The results indicated that,compared to natural Tremella fuciformis polysaccharide (TP) and low molecular weightTremella fuciformis polysaccharide (LTP), sulfated LTP (SLTP) exhibited strongerscavenging activity towards superoxide anion, DPPH and hydroxyl radicals. In all the casesthe effect was found to be dose dependent. The scavenging activity of SLTP was found tobe in parallel with the degree of sulfation of SLTP.

Abstract: An autofocus algorithm based on RELAX is presented. Assuming there exist multiple dominant scatterers in each range bin (other smaller scatterers are treated as clutter), the algorithm performs the phase error correction and the parameter estimation of the dominant scatterers alternatively by adopting an iterative procedure. The algorithm does not require that the clutter and noise in each range bin to be of certain distribution model, and it can be used to estimate all kinds of phase errors. Thus the algorithm is very robust. The results obtained in autofocusing experiments on real SAR/ISAR data show that the algorithm is very efficacious.
