FORMULATION AND EVALUATION OF MUCOADHESIVE TABLETS OF BACLOFEN

Abstract: The purpose of this research work was to establish mucoadhesive buccal tablets of Baclofen in the forms of monolayered tablets. The tablets were prepared using Sodium methyl cellulose (NaMC ),sodium alginate and Methocel K15M as bioadhesive polymers to impart mucoadhesion. Buccal tablets were evaluated by different parameters such as weight uniformity, content uniformity, thickness,hardness, surface pH, Swelling index, ex vivo mucoadhesive strength, in vitro drug release, and in vitro drug permeation. The present study concludes that mucoadhesive buccal tablets of Baclofen canimprove the bio availability of Baclofen.

Abstract: In the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C32H26N3O)], the pyrrolidine ring adopts a twist conformation. The indeno–quinoxaline ring system [86.44 (5)°], the methylphenyl ring [86.06 (7)°] and the ferrocene rings [82.00 (7) and 83.95 (9)°] are almost perpendicular to the pyrrolidine ring. The two cyclopentadienyl rings adopt an eclipsed conformation. The crystal structure features C—H...N interactions.

Abstract: In the title compound, [Fe(C5H5)(C31H24N3O)], the pyrrolidine ring adopts a twist conformation. The pyrrolidine ring is almost perpendicular to the indenoquinoxaline ring system, making a dihedral angle of 84.44 (5)°. The cyclopentadienyl rings of the ferrocene moiety adopt an eclipsed conformation. The crystal packing features weak C—H...N and C—H...π interactions.

Abstract: Full adders are important components in applications such as digital signal processors (DSP) architectures and microprocessors. Apart from the basic addition adders also used in performing useful operations such as subtraction, multiplication, division, address calculation, etc. In most of these systems the adder lies in the critical path that determines the overall performance of the system. In this paper conventional complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and adiabatic adder circuits are analyzed in terms of power and transistor count using 0.18UM technology.

Abstract: A new circuit is proposed for a steep step-up of the line voltage. It integrates a switched-capacitor (SC) circuit with in a boost converter. An SC circuit can achieve any voltage ratio, allowing for a boost of the input voltage to high values. It is un regulated to allow for a very high efficiency. The boost stage has a regulation purpose. It can operate at a relatively low duty cycle, thus avoiding diode-reverse recovery problems. The new circuit is not cascadeinterconnection of the two power stages; their operation is integrated. The simplicity and robustness of the solution, the possibility of getting higher voltage ratios than cascading boost converters, without using transformers with all theirproblems, and the good overall efficiency are the benefits of the proposed converter

Abstract: In the title compound, C32H25NO2S2, the mean plane through the five-membered pyrrolidine ring, which exhibits an envelope conformation, makes dihedral angles of 82.3 (1) and 83.9 (9)° with the benzene ring and the acenaphthylene ring system, respectively. The dihedral angle between the thiophene rings is 19.0(3)°. The crystal structure shows C—H...π and π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distance = 3.869 (2) ].

Abstract: In the title compound, C31H22ClNO2S2, the five-membered pyrrolidine ring, which exhibits an envelope conformation, makes a dihedral angle of 87.4 (2)° with the acenaphthylene ring system. The crystal structure is stabilized by π–π interactions [centroid–centroid distance = 3.869 (2) ]. A C atom and the S atom of the thiophene ring are disordered over two positions with refined occupancies of 0.629 (7) and 0.372 (7).

Abstract: The study targets at finding the effects of Engine Design parameter (Compression ratio) on the Performance with regard to Brake Specific Fuel Consumption and brake thermal efficiency, Combustion parameter viz. Cylinder pressure, Hear Release rate (HRR), Rate of Pressure Rise (RPR) and emission of CO, CO2, HC , NOx with diesel as a fuel. The Study was carried out at different compression ratios (14-17) to find the optimum value at which lesser emissions and better performance and combustion characteristics are obtained. It was found that as the compression ratio is increased the Brake thermal efficiency and brake power increases and brake specific fuel consumption is slightly reduced. The combustion parameters CP, HRR, RPR all increase with increase with increase in compression ratio. The Emission of CO2 and NOx increases steeply at high compression ratio. A combustion Model of the engine is created in StarCD software and the experimental and the theoretical Cylinder pressure values are validated.
