Abstract: Bioethanol is an important product in the fuel market obtainable from biomass through fermentation process but direct conversion of cassava peelings to bioethanol as energy by-product is difficult because of its lignocellulosic content. This paper therefore, considers the intermediate route of converting lignocellulosic biomass to fermentable sugar through acid hydrolysis and consequent ethanol production, in a developed percolation reactor. Cassava tuber consists of the starchy flesh and peelings that can be converted into bioethanol but the main agro-waste from cassava crop, aside from the leaves and stem is the peelings. The level of cultivating of the crop in Nigeria is exceptionally high as practised in other developing nations, yet there is no significant use for its peelings which is generated in thousands of metric tonnes annually. Therefore, apercolation reactor is designed for the thermochemical pre-treatment of the lignocellulosic biomass through hydrolysis process with a view to recovering the reducing sugars for fermentation. The reactor is designed to hold 2 kg of pulverised cassava peelings of 0.5≤ and ≥0.3 mm particle size and circulate 3 L of acid liquor for each hydrolysis run. The reactor comprised of a 0.0261 m3 perforated basket, 1.83 W capacity circulation pump in power rating, and a heating chamber containing 3 kW heater. The reactor is designed to operate within the temperature range of 20°C - 180°C, pressure ≤ 45 Nm?2, and liquor flow rate of 4.33 × 10?4 m3·S?1. The reactor was used to convert 500 g of pulverised cassava peelings to sugar laden hydrolysate that subsequently yielded 118 mL of bioethanol through fermentation process in three replicated experiments. The designed percolation reactor could therefore serve as a veritable tool in converting biomass of lignocellulosic origin to chemical and energy products, reduce wastes and promote cleaner environment.

Abstract: The variability of side chains alter size, shape and surface texture of each nanomaterial that lead to differential uptake in human and insect cells and to different internal organs in live Drosophila via energy dependent endocytosis. Our results showed that physical and chemical properties of C-11 and C-16 acid chain are best fitted for delivery to complex organs in Drosophila. However a distinct difference in uptake of same nanoparticle in human and insect cells postulated that different host cell physiology plays a critical role in the uptake mechanism.The physical and chemical properties of the nanoparticle produced by variation in the acid side chains that modify size and shape of engineered nanostructure and their interplay with host cell physiology might be the major criteria for their differential uptake to different internal organs.Integration of nanostructure with biomolecules, biosensors and drugs has established a strong framework for advancements in medical diagnostics, therapeutics and hold enormous promises for bioengineering applications [1,2]. In recent years, a wide variety of inorganic nanomaterials with distinct shapes and sizes (for example nanoparticles, nanorods, nanowires, nanofibres and nanotubes) have been used as delivery vehicles [3-5]. But two major issues i.e., targeted release of the biomolecules and rapid clearance of the carriers that are considered for delivery in live cells still remain unanswered [6]. It has led to the failure of many inorganic nanostructures as attractive vehicles [7,8] and has opened a window of opportunity for the development of nanoparticles from organic materials. Abstract: Aim of this paper is to provide valuable insights into the Maltese legal system with a special focus on private law. The assumption is that this legal system is the byproduct of the "mixing" of innovation and tradition, resulting from the interaction of English law and continental law. A major role in the development of the system is played by courts. Some examples (moral damages and pre-contractual liability) are considered which highlight the importance of the function displayed by Maltese judges. Abstract: At present, the problem who can and who should solve the question concerning the preparationand recurrent training of pilots of Ukrainian civil aviation is not solved. The necessity of updatingof aircraft’s park in aviation branch and aircraft operation, which was ripened 10 years ago,demands a corresponding infrastructure. It is necessary to understand, that the pilots ready toperform the flights on modern aircrafts, will not appear by themselves, therefore the real actions onmodernization of existing system of aircrew and the aviation personnel preparation as a whole arerequired. Main objective of this work is the determination of the basic components concerning thesolving of the problematic questions on preparation of aircrew on modern types of aircrafts. Duringthe problem analysis it was specified that the present development of system of aircrew preparationin Ukraine is not perfect, and does not correspond the ICAO and EU requirements, therefore needsan immediate intervention at the highest State level. Trainings are not complex, as do not containthe elements of selection of aircrew members cooperation. Abstract: Substantially nonlinear objects function at limitations of arbitrary kind. These limitations are not necessarily convex areas. For such objects the construction of area of the fully the fully-controlled state area is a serious problem. In the article it has been suggested to replace this task the task of the fully-controlled state area estimation from within. The secure estimation method of the fully-controlled state area has been developed for this purpose. Other dynamic system has been used as a tester (measure) of the fully-controlled state area. Construction and estimation of controllability and accessibility area of this dynamic system well methodically validate and deserved researchers confession. The descriptions concordance requirements of this new object with properties of initial object must be executed and provide property of immersion of new object in an initial object. Abstract: The system method of immersion and virtualization of measured systems in real process is offered. The method works out problem of virtual systems formation and sets conditions at which virtual object to become measuring system for of completely controlled condition field. Here the system of interactively oriented rectangular n-dimensional parallelepipeds is used as measuring system. Imbeddedness of measuring system in real process is understood as process of approximation of a real system controlled condition cone by system of rectangular n-dimensional parallelepipeds. The modern conception of industrial flight safety management comes from the fact that only an observance of the set rules is not sufficient: it is necessary to probe the conditions of aviation activity, reveal the hazards, take necessary and sufficient measures on the declination of the risks, related to them,. till the acceptable level. Рассмотрена современная концепция управления безопасностью полетов, показывающая, что только соблюдения установленных правил недостаточно. Показана необходимость исследования условий авиационной деятельности и принятия мер по снижению рисков.

Abstract: Determination of small forms is considered in architecture and in a sculpture. Certainly difference between national and international style in a design. Their use is considered in the design of interiors of passenger spaces of air terminals on existent examples. Connection is analysed between architectural small forms and by the sculpture of small forms, which consists in the transmission of the general semantic and aesthetically beautiful loading on a man, namely to create feeling of comfort, national self-esteem, national pride, and but to consciousness Рассмотрено определение малых форм в архитектуре и скульптуре. Определена разница между национальным и интернациональным стилями в дизайне. Показано их использование в дизайне интерьеров пассажирских пространств аэровокзалов. Проанализирована связь между архитектурой и скульптурой малых форм, заключающаяся в передаче смысловой и эстетической нагрузки на человека, создании ощущения комфорта, национального самоуважения, национальной гордости и самосознания. Розглянуто використання в дизайн нтер’ р в аеровокзальних простор в малих арх тектурних форм та скульптур малих форм у нац ональному та нтернац ональному стилях.
