When an unlaminated rotor rotates in a radial magnetic bearing, eddy currents are caused to flow inside the conducting material of the rotor. These eddy currents change the magnetic field of the radial bearing and therefore, the forces on the rotor depend on the eddy currents. Additionally to the levitation force, a tangential force acts on the rotor. When this rotor is excited, the tangential force additionally leads to a cross coupling between the x and y axis which may destabilise the system. It will be shown that the forces of a radial magnetic bearing depend on the pole configuration. It can be seen that the calculation of forces depends on the configuration of the system which considered two; NSNS and NNSS.  International Journal of Electrical and Power Engineering , 2012, Abstract: The aim of this study is to treat the electro-magneto-thermal coupling applied to a induction heating system. The voltage feeding makes the present study very interesting especially in the transient thermal regime. The most delicate study of this problem means the treatment at the same time of four physics aspects: the electrical equation of the inductor, the electromagnetic equation in the load, the equation of the thermal in transient or permanent regime and sometimes one may add the fluid flowing equation. The non-linearity and complexity of the equations system thus obtained require the use of numerical methods to solve it. A software tool on the base of the finite difference method coupled with a semi-analytic one has been developed. We show that, the evolution of the dissipation active power and its effects on the temperature and the impedance along the time of heats.  Saliha Antar Dicle Medical Journal , 2008, Abstract: In this study, the role of visual perception between normal and schizoprenic patients was investigated. According to DSM III R diagnosis criteria by personal arientation inventory, 30 normal and 30 schizophrenic patients were included in the study. Of the visual perception tests,the size constancy was performed on both groups.The decisions of the Size constancy of subjects were obtained by comparing five standart stimuli darwn on a white cartoon whose diameters were 8 cm2 and sixteen comparision stimuli that had the same content but different dimensions with standart stimulus. In this tudy. Two general hypothesis and related five sub-hypothesis were suggested. The size constancy of the subjects were solved by variance analysis and t test methods. As a result,it was seen that visual perception,distance and emotional factors between Normal and schiophrenic patiens were effective in the size constancy.  Antar Bandyopadhyay Mathematics , 2004, DOI: 10.1063/1.3122255 Abstract: In this article we prove the bivariate uniqueness property for a particular max-type'' recursive distributional equation (RDE). Using the general theory developed by Aldous and Bandyopadhyay (2005) we then show that the corresponding recursive tree process (RTP) has no external randomness, more preciously, the RTP is endogenous. The RDE we consider is so called the Logistic RDE, which appears in Aldous' (2001) proof of the$\zeta(2)$-limit of the random assignment problem using the local weak convergence method. Thus this work provides a non-trivial application of the general theory developed by Aldous and Bandyopadhyay (2005).  Antar Bandyopadhyay Mathematics , 2004, Abstract: This paper has been withdrawn by the author because of finding a flaw in the proof of endogeny for the Frozen Percolation RDE which was one of two examples discussed in this paper. The other example is correct and can be obtained from the work "Bivariate Uniqueness and Endogeny for the Logistic Recursive Distributional Equation" of the author. At the current moment we believe that endogeny is false for the Frozen Percolation RDE. Fresh simulations done independently by the author and David J. Aldous suggest non-endogeny. Although a rigorous proof is yet to be found. It is interesting to note that one can prove that the tail of the associated Recursive Tree Process (RTP) is trivial. The work titled "A Necessary and Sufficient Condition for the Tail Triviality of a Recursive Tree Process" of the author present this result.  Antar Bandyopadhyay Mathematics , 2005, Abstract: Given a recursive distributional equation (RDE) and a solution$\mu$of it, we consider the tree indexed invariant process called the recursive tree process (RTP) with marginal$\mu\$. We introduce a new type of bivariate uniqueness property which is different from the one defined by Aldous and Bandyopadhyay (2005), and we prove that this property is equivalent to tail-triviality for the RTP, thus obtaining a necessary and sufficient condition to determine tail-triviality for a RTP in general. As an application we consider Aldous' (2000) construction of the frozen percolation process on a infinite regular tree and show that the associated RTP has a trivial tail.
 Technologies de Laboratoire , 2011, Abstract: Calcareous scaling on domestic and industrial equipments generates severe problems and causes drastic economic loss. The use of several chemicals is a common technique to impede the scale deposition. The subject of this study is the inhibition of the scaling process. Thus, we have followed the coverage of a titanium electrode, in absence and in presence of two anti-scale products, using the chronoamperometry. The mineral scales were characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and analyzed by electronic sweeping microscopy (ESM). It was found that 25 ppm of hydroxyl-2 méthyl-4 benzylphosponic acide (AHMBP) or of Diprochim anti-scale is sufficient to prevent electrodeposition. The efficiency of the two chemicals is comparable.
 Materials Sciences and Applications (MSA) , 2013, DOI: 10.4236/msa.2013.45042 Abstract: Ultraviolet-visible UV-Vis diffuse reflectance measurements of irradiated lithium tetra-borate glass have been acquired using. Evolution 600 Spectrophotometer equipped with praying Mantis Diffuse Reflectance Accessory DRA base upon the onset of the diffuse reflectance spectra of the powdered or bulk materials. Also the absorption edge and band gap energies of the prepared glass were determined. The optical energy gap is calculated and found to be (3.0 - 3.5) eV. Which is in close agreement to the one calculated for r = 1/2, i.e. the transition mechanism, is accordingly direct allowed transition. The density increases from 3.1 to 3.9 gm/cm3
