Abstract: The aim of this study was to analyze an u′14 handball competition in function of gender and final score differences, trying to identify performance indicators that differentiate winning teams from losing team in the 2011 Spanish Championship. An amount of 47 masculine and 45 feminine matches from the 2011 Spanish u′14 Championship were analyzed. The analysis was developed with specific software SPSS 17.0 for Windows. A cluster analysis was carried out in function of the final score differences, as well as a t test for independent samples or a Mann- Whitney U in relation of normality, random and homoscedasticity tests. Results show that, in both competitions, winning teams reach more goals from 6 m line, fewer errors in pass-reception, as well as better values of Offensive Efficacy Coefficient (OEC) and Offensive Realization Coefficcient (ORC) versus looser teams. Failed and stopped shoots from free throw line differentiate winner teams is male competitions. The amount of possession, penalty goals and steps differentiate winner teams from looser ones in female competitions. Results highlight how important are the physical condition and the individual technic for this ages. Abstract: The aim of this study was to identify performance indicators to differentiate between winning and losing u’16 men handball teams, based on the final score differences. We analyzed 46 games from the 2011 Spanish Championship of Regional Teams. The analysis was developed with specific software SPSS17.0 for Windows. A cluster analysis was carried out based on the final score differences. Normality, homoscedasticity and randomness tests were applied; based on these results, it was carried out a student t test for independent samples or the Mann-Whitney test. The statistical analysis showed differences in Offensive Efficacy Coefficient (OEC) , Offensive Realization Coefficcient (ORC), 6m goals, total losses, total saves made, 6m failed launches and error-pass reception. In those games where the differences of goals were greater, the number of performance indicators that differentiate winners from losers increased. The effectiveness of 6 meters, the turnovers and the goalkeeper performance were crucial to victory. Key words: Handball, Performance indicators, Learning ages, Victory/Defeat. Abstract: Time-outs (T-O) is tool that allows the coach interact in a direct way during the competition. Nowadays, T-O rule has been modified. Because of that, the objective is to develop a pilot study to describe and characterize ASOBAL T-O coach’s request, season 2011/12. 15 T-O from different matches were analyzed, registering five previous (n=69) and after (n=62) possessions when requesting T-O. Variables are T-O number, period of the game when is ordered, minute, score in that moment, final score, number of previous and after possessions, previous and after partial as well as last action before T-O and the first one after. An observational descriptive analysis was developed. Results show that coaches do not take advantage of T-O they have, being looser teams the ones that more use them, specially the second and the third T-O. Most of this interruption takes place in last moments of both periods, usually preceded by a negative action. In relation to its efficiency, score differences are maintained or improved Key words: mach analyses, handball, time-outs, coaches, performance.

Causal Behaviour on Carter spacetime
Oihane F. Blanco,Andrea Moreira
Mathematics , 2015,
Abstract: In this work we will focus on the causal character of Carter Spacetime (see B. Carter, Causal structure in space-time, Gen. Rel. Grav. 1 4 337-406, 1971). The importance of this spacetime is the following: for the causally best well behaved spacetimes (the globally hyperbolic ones), there are several characterizations or alternative definitions. In some cases, it has been shown that some of the causal properties required in these characterizations can be weakened. But Carter spacetime provides a counterexample for an impossible relaxation in one of them. We studied the possibility of Carter spacetime to be a counterexample for impossible lessening in another characterization, based on the previous results. In particular, we will prove that the time-separation or Lorentzian distance between two chosen points in Carter spacetime is infinite. Although this spacetime turned out not to be the counterexample we were looking for, the found result is interesting per se and provides ideas for alternate approaches to the possibility of weakening the mentioned characterization.
Factors that affect fruit consumption in schools of the Metropolitan Region (Chile): The case of two schools in the district of Lo Prado

Abstract: this research identifies the influence of environmental, social and consumer habits on decision making of children's fruit consumption. the characteristics that influence children's fruit consumption in school and their willingness to change these consumption behaviors are also studied. the study is performed on 5th and 8th grade students who attend public and private elementary schools in the municipality of lo prado, santiago. the level of fruit consumption significantly depends on the family and school support that children receive. statements such as: "fruits are good for my health" and "fruits are rich in vitamins" are very important for parents and children who attend private and public schools. from a strategic point of view, this research concludes that a more proactive and consistent approach is needed from parents and school communities to encourage fruit consumption among children. this approach results in either maintaining or improving children's fruit consumption as they grow older. also, the actions of parents and schools towards the preparation of desserts using fruits are proven to be an effective way to increase fruit consumption.

Trabajos de Prehistoria , 2004,
Abstract: A general description of the rescue work in the site of Cerro de la Mesa is presented. The work documented a stratigraphy that covered at least all of the Iron Age. The site has a large wall typologically related with Andalusian and Levantine sites. There is a ritual area with orientalising items. Some domestic structures and a metallurgical workshop related with iron metallurgy were also documented from a later phase.

Abstract: some of the most significant constructions of the fractional brownian mo tion developed recently are reviewed in detail. taqqu works with the limit under weak convergence of normalized partial sums of stationary random variables exhibiting long run non-periodic dependence. sottinen proves a donsker type approximation theorem and delgado & jolis prove that the fractional brownian motion can be weakly approximated by the law of some processes constructed from standard poisson process.
