BUONO-CORE,G. E; NUEZ,M. VANESSA; LUCERO,ANDREA; VARGAS M,ROBINSON; JULLIAN,CAROLINA;
Journal of the Chilean Chemical Society , 2011, DOI: 10.4067/S0717-97072011000100006
Abstract: in this work, bioactive compounds present in flower heads of german chamomille, were extracted and isolated in pure forms by chromatographic techniques. these compounds, spiroketal enol ethers, present in both isomeric forms z and e, were characterized and unequivocally identified by spectroscopic techniques. one- (1h, 13c) and two-dimensional (1h-1h-cosy, 1h-1h-noesy, hmqc and hmbc) nmr were used to assign the configuration of each isomeric compound. it was also found that irradiation of the extracts with uv light induced the photoisomerization of the en-yn-dicycloethers favoring the formation of the more stable e isomer.

Climate Change in La Plata Basin as Seen by a High-Resolution Global Model  [PDF]
Mario N. Nuez, Josefina Blázquez
Atmospheric and Climate Sciences (ACS) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/acs.2014.42029
Abstract:

This paper analyses the climate change in La Plata Basin, one of the most important regions in South America due to its economy and population. For this work it has been used the Meteorological Research Institute (MRI) and the Japanese Meteorological Agency (JMA) atmospheric global model. For both near and far future, the projected changes for temperature over the entire basin were positive, although they were only statistically significant at the end of the XXI century. Changes in the annual cycle of mean temperature were also positive in all subregions of the basin. Regarding precipitation, there were no changes in the near future that were statistically significant. The summer (winter) is the only season where both models project positive (negative) changes for both periods of the future. In the transitional seasons these changes vary depending on the spatial resolution model and the area of study. The annual cycle showed that the largest changes in precipitation (positive or negative) coincide with the rainy season of each subregion. Regarding the interannual variability of temperature, it was found that the 20 km. model pro-jected a decrease of this variability for both near and far future, especially in summer and autumn. On the other hand, the 60 km. ensemble model showed a decreased of year-to-year variability for summer and an increase in winter and spring. It was also found that both models project an increase in precipitation variability for winter and summer, while in other seasons, only the 60 km. ensemble model presents the mentioned behavior.

Abstract: the article pretends to explain the concept and function of constitutional identity. the task is fulfilled describing the key features and the role of constitutional identity in the constitution-making, interpretation and reform, and the relationship between national constitution and non national human rights law.
Escenarios sociales y participación política juvenil: Un repaso de los estudios sobre comportamientos políticos desde la transición democrática hasta Cromagnon
Nuez,Pedro;
Revista SAAP , 2010,
Abstract: the purpose of this paper is to explore how social sciences have recently addressed the social processes that have recently affected young people. we intend to incorporate new approaches to contemporary phenomena which may help understand the ways in which young people participate in society. the first sections briefly describes the main perspectives that social sciences in general, and youth studies in particular, have applied to investigate the relationship between the new generations and politics since the restoration of democracy in 1983. the paper then focuses on a comparative analysis of the impact of two events (the república cromagnon nigthclub fire and the violent events in a school in carmen de patagones) which greatly impacted on the political practices and actions of young people attending secondary school in two education jurisdictions.
Comunicador experimental privado basado en encriptamiento caótico
Nuez, R.;
Revista mexicana de física , 2006,
Abstract: an encrypted information experimental communicator (eiec) is presented. it's realization is based on two lorenz explicit synchronized circuits. all the chaotic dynamics of the circuits were studied and analysed using dsp techniques. regarding to our real/time application, -on bidirectional audio communications field-, the optimum conclusion was to make the synchronization and the hidden information communication by the medium chaotic dynamic variable and by the most dissimilar chaotic dynamic variables, respectively. through the complete characterization of the bidirectional channels, we got the minimum characteristics (i.e., waveform and spectrum magnitude) of the private information that it must have just for to make a confidential and robust communication. the eiec prototype, still doing well for academics and research purposes.

Ojo blanco (obl) : un gene marcador del grupo de ligamiento IV en Tribolium castaneum Herbst Ojo blanco (obl): un gene marcador del grupo de ligamiento IV en Tribolium castaneum Herbst
Nuez Fernando
Acta Biológica Colombiana , 1988,
Abstract: Some genetic aspects of a spontaneous mutation in T. castaneum, discovered in the Department of Biology of National University of Colombia (Bogota), were studied. The mutant gene christened "ojo blanco" (obl), is recessive autosomic, of excellent viability, complete penetrance and variable expression. The gene is phenotipically characterized by a depigmentation of the compound eyes and can be observed from the larval stage. Linkage tests with marker mutants for different groups were carried out. The marker "sooty", of the linkage group IV, gave positive results. The distance was estimated from 2843 descendants obtained from backcrosses in repulsion plase and 1630 in coupling phase. This distance was worked out as 15.64 ± 0.92 units between obl ands. It was not possible to determine if obl is on the left or the right hand side of s. Nor discrepancies between sexes, neither between phases were found in the recombination frequencies for the region between the two loci of chromosome IV.
