Distingue a configura o constitucional do ensino superior em rela o ao ensino básico, que possui maiores garantias. Discute a atua o estatal no campo do ensino superior e seus limites, a partir de sua estrutura constitucional. Abstract: The relation that involves art and psychoanalysis has been consistently worked today, but not exhausted. Considering this, this the theoretical construction has as main objective thinkingnew connections between the psychoanalytic theory and the creator making, throught a path that often is the opposite of the one that is usually followed. We chose to first investigate what the artists and researchers in the arts have to say about the creator making, and only after review this by a psychoanalytic perspective. The purpose of this action is to displace the relations between psychoanalysis and art in the field of interpretation in order to draw between these two fields of knowledge, a constructive dialogue that allows a reflection about the contemporary subjectivity - necessary matters both to the psychoanalytic as to art.

Abstract: This article will discuss the unique way in which nursing education at one Catholic University is distinctively value-driven with a focus on the meaning of Mercy and Jesuit traditions and how these philosophies translate into professional nursing practice. An innovative approach to a value-driven education that incorporates the philosophy of the Mercy and Jesuit traditions in a professional nursing role is fostered with the teachings of Catherine McAuley and Ignatius Loyola and infused through the act of service-learning and reflection on the service-learning experience. Nursing students are educated from a perspective of historical tradition, spirituality, social justice, reflective thinking and a value-centered professional education, enriching their self-awareness toward the development of leadership behaviors. Linking the service-learning experience to nursing concepts within the Mercy and Jesuit traditions has demonstrated a deep sense of self-awareness, a high level of understanding of caring and the concept of nurses as leaders amongst the students at our university.

Abstract: Dans ce texte, on analyse le sujet de la migration chez Roberto Bola o, particulièrement dans son roman 2666. Pour ce faire, on montrera d’abord la relation entre la théorie postcoloniale et le concept de migration, et ensuite quelle est la conception du migratoire héritée par les études hispano-américaines. Plus tard, on fera allusion au rapport de Bola o, en tant qu’auteur, avec le concept de migration, pour proposer ensuite une lecture de la structure de 2666 en tant qu’exploration d’un territoire littéraire particulier. Pour conclure, on décrira les liens entre ce territoire et le projet romantique d’une littérature universelle, en montrant la réinvention de ce projet par la poétique de Bola o, d’un point de vue contemporain. In this paper we will analyze migration in Roberto Bola o’s work, particularly in his novel 2666. In order to do so, we will show the relationship between the postcolonial theory and the concept of migration, and which is the conception of the migratory that Latin American studies inherit. Later we will make reference to the link between Bola o, as an author, and the concept of migration so that we can postulate that the structure of 2666 is an exploration of a particular literary territory. At last, we will show how this territory relates to the Romantic project of a Weltliteratur, but reinvented by Bola o’s poetics from a contemporary perspective. Este texto pretende analizar el tema de la migración en Roberto Bola o, en particular en su novela 2666. Para ello, se expondrá la relación de la teoría poscolonial con el concepto de migración y cuál es la concepción de lo migratorio que heredan los estudios hispanoamericanos. Más adelante se alude a la relación de Bola o, en cuanto autor, con el concepto de la migración, para luego proponer una lectura de la estructura de 2666 como exploración de un territorio literario particular. Por último, este territorio se vincula con el proyecto romántico de una literatura universal, pero reinventado por la poética de Bola o desde una perspectiva contemporánea.

Pulsar Timing Arrays: No longer a Blunt Instrument for Gravitational Wave Detection

Abstract: Pulsar timing now has a rich history in placing limits on the stochastic background of gravitational waves, and we plan soon to reach the sensitivity where we can detect, not just place limits on, the stochastic background. However, the capability of pulsar timing goes beyond the detection of a background. Herein I review efforts that include single source detection, localization, waveform recovery, a clever use of a "time-machine" effect, alternate theories of gravity, and finally studies of the noise in our "detector" that will allow us to tune and optimize the experiment. Pulsar timing arrays are no longer "blunt" instruments for gravitational-wave detection limited to only detecting an amplitude of the background. Rather they are shrewd and tunable detectors, capable of a rich and dynamic variety of astrophysical measurements.

Abstract: Geological heritage inventory procedures and templates have been principally emerged from European countries. Each of these countries has developed its proper method of inventory based on its natural heritage, recognized on local and/or regional scales. Natural sites were mainly identified and characterized in a particular geological context, which is usually very unique, valuable and impressive; resulting in the protection of the sites. Madagascar is known internationally as a beautifully landscaped island, but the impressive sites were not cataloged. We carried out a series of field inventory of potential geological sites within the Isalo National Park in southern Madagascar. We invented several inventory sheets in order to record the most detailed information about the sites identified within the park. This is to aid in organizing the park and to establish a sustainable base for the creation of a geopark, and also they help us to build a database for geosites and their classifications. This article suggests a prototype model for inventorying intangible geosites, paleosites and geomorphosites. Our inventory sheets help to identify and to promote geological importance of any sites, not only for academia but also for other sectors such as tourism and conservation.
Tutorías virtuales como herramienta complementaria y su efecto sobre las evaluaciones globales en estudiantes universitarios

Abstract: this study was intended to determine the effect of the virtual tutorials (vt) as supplementary tools on the global marks of university students. from the universe of study, a non-probabilistic sample of 44 students was taken, being the control the same group of students before the pedagogic intervention. the vt started after the first global evaluation thru the end of the course, using "google? groups". global evaluations i (without virtual tutorial) and global evaluations 2 (with virtual tutorial) in addition to descriptively analyzed data and t-test analyzed data for depending samples were collected. the results showed that the vt as supplementary tool significantly improve the marks of the global evaluations of the students who use them (p<0,01). additionally, a pattern of frequency in the participation of students that would be associated to proximity of the exam schedules was noticed. it is necessary that the higher education institutions promote innovative educational practices that will encourage learning.
