The tools were adopted from the studies of Rice & Schneider (1994) and Smeenk et al. (2008). The top five, private sector universities of Karachi, as per HEC criteria, were taken as target sample to conduct the survey. This research affirmed that satisfaction is positively correlated with commitment and performance, and commitment also correlated with performance of faculty members of private sector universities in Pakistan.

Research Journal of Biological Sciences , 2012,
Abstract: Socio-economic condition of fishermen of Mail beel was conducted during the period of September 2005 to June 2006. Interviews were taken from different intermediaries like aratdars, baparies, farias, retailers and fishermen. The Socio-economic characteristics like age, family size, educational status and daily income of members of fishermen of around the Mail beel area were studied. In this connection earner s dependency was also important aspect. The age structure showed that 31-40 years age groups were mainly engaged in fishing and the percentage was 28.57 in average of total population. The next groups were 41-50 age group (22.85%), 51-60 age group (8.57%), above 60 age group (2.85%), 20-30 age group (22.85%) and below 20 age group (14.28%), respectively. The total population study revealed that there were 55.84% male adult and male children, 44.16% female adult and female children population. The average percentage distribution is 28.57% that show the highest proportion remaining in the income group of Tk. 31-40. Next 20% of Tk. 51-60, 14.28% of Tk. 41-50, 11.42% of Tk. 61-70, 8.57% of Tk. 71-80, 5.71% of Tk. 81-90, 8.57% of Tk.21-30, 2.85% of Tk. 100 above of the number of fishermen of the Mail beel of Mohanpur. The birth rate was higher than income structure and life standard was too low to maintain their whole family. It is necessary to reduce the role of middlemen to maximize the returns for fishermen. The socio-economic status of the fishermen could be developed through increasing education and giving technical support. Overall, the socio-economic status of the fishermen is very dull and fishermen community in the study area is poorer among the poor.
An Ecological Study on the Beel Joshi (Rajshahi District), Northern Bangladesh
Abdur Razzaq Joadder
Journal of Fisheries International , 2012,
Abstract: The present study has been made on the assessment of ecological aspects of a beel, Joshi covering an area of 630.0 ha in the Rajshahi district, northern part of Bangladesh.Surface run-off and increase in flow of rain water from the upper stretch during monsoon cause inundation and resumption of connection between beel and parent rivers. The range of Dissolve Oxygen (DO) content (5.26-6.08 mg L-1) and pH (7.5-8.2) were found. Lower values of total hardness and total alkanity indicated fewer nutrients in the beel water. Free CO2 was relatively high in this beel. Phytoplankton diversity in the beel represented by 4 groups Viz. Myxophyceae, Chlorophyceae, Bacellariophyceae, Euglenophyceae in order of abundance. A total of 75 fish species belonging to 45 genera 21 families and 1 species of prawn were identified so far from the beel. About 14 types fishing method were found in operation. Seine nets (Moshari berjal. shono berjal) and gill net (current jal) were identified as detrimental gear killing juveniles of different species during post spawning period. Kua fishing was also found harmful due to dewatering nature. A total number of 12 species of aquatic weeds were identified from the beel. The eggs of Macrobrachium lameri were also detected during the study period.
A Comprehensive Study on the Availability of Fishes and Non-Fin Fishes in Atrai River of Naogaon District: A Case Study in Northern Part of Bangladesh
Abdur Razzaq Joadder
Journal of Fisheries International , 2012,
Abstract: The present study has been made on the existance on the fish fauna and non-fin fishes in the river Atrai of Naogaon district. The study area is located on the eastern bank of the river Atrai and it includes the Chotkighasa to Casiabari hat under Atrai thana near the Naogaon town. Data were collected from the local place and monthly visits were made in the fish markets of Ahsangong and Casiabari hats during the study period.Visits to the fish-landing centers of Atrai station, Kumghat, Shahebgong and Chotkighasa areas were also made almost once in a week throughout the study period starting from August 2005 to July 2006. During the study period, a total number of 78 species of fishes belonging to 48 genera, 19 families, 9 orders and the class of osteichthyes, 11 species of non-fin fishes under the classes of Crustacea (Arthropoda), Gastropoda (Mollusca), Amphibia, Reptilia were detected and recorded.
Length-Weight Relationship and Condition Factor (Kn) of Gobi, Glossogobius giuris (Hamilton) from
Abdur Razzaq Joadder
Journal of Fisheries International , 2012,
Abstract: Length-weight relationship and relative condition factor (Kn) of freshwater fish Bar-eyed Gobi: Glossogobius giuris (Hamilton) from the northern part of Bangladesh. They were studied from 627 specimens ranging from 5.6-23.8 cm in total length for 6 months from July 2003-December 2003. Length-weight relationship is shown by the following equations: Log w = -1.8419 + 2.768xlog L (for males) and log w = -1.708 + 2.667xlogL (for females). The relatives condition factor (Kn) was determined for either sex separately. Mean Kn for males and females was found to be 1.0555 and 1.00465, respectively. The length-weight relationship and relative condition factor shows that the growth of G. giuris is satisfactory in the population that freshwater fish of the "Atrai river" in Noagaon district.

Dynamic Indexing Algorithms For Structuring Linear Data
Imran Razzaq,Muhammad Sher
Journal of Applied Sciences , 2002,
Abstract: Dynamic Indexing Algorithm provides a useful tool for structuring (in the form of tree) linear data structures (in the form of linear array) and also enclosing them with some Meta information. The main goal is to present an algorithm (based on some algebraic formulas) that can arrange the linear data in a structural format on basis of static conditions and dynamic conditions.
