Abstract: the present catalog is an inventory of names proposed in erotylidae (from family through subspecies) ocurring in the neotropical region, up to the present date (1988). it updates the nomenclature of included taxa, adds taxonomic units proposed after the kuhnt's genera insectorum (kuhnt, 1909) and includes abbreviated references to the literature, which are fully cited at the end of this catalogue. the systematic order follows kuhnt, 1909, and afterwards, the position given to each taxa by the original author.

Abstract: this work is about the meaning of the citizen education that educators have been assuming on official documents since the events that were around while the brazilian political openning. using a short archeology/genealogy, the purpose is to show the intimacy between the state and pedagogical science. in different times and historical spaces, with many characters and contexts, citizenship has been an objective to be achieved in a school space. in brazil, at the beggining of the 20th century, with new school professionals, or in the end of the same century, with the evocation of the name of darcy ribeiro for the construction of ldb, the meaning of citizen education go beyond the comenius' utopia or even the pedagogical belief of rousseau.

Abstract: this article has the aim of discussing relations among knowledge archaeology from michel foucault and bibliometry. common analysis cathegories of both areas are proposed. common interest themes: interdisciplinarity, citations, pragmatics and discurses categorization are worked. possibilities of supression of theoric-episthemological limits of bibliometry are presented like the problem of dificulties of weighting the level of scientificity in the process of sorting discourses to support bibliometris studies, as well as the agregation of cathegories that can overwhelm the trend of the reification process present in the information science research.

Abstract: o presente ensaio procura identificar as características básicas da saúde pública como campo de investiga??o interdisciplinar e ressaltar a relevancia da considera??o de quest?es metodológicas pelo pesquisador que com elas se defronta consciente ou inconscientemente. diferenciando as concep??es de metodologia teórica e de metodologia da técnica o texto busca mostrar, por um lado, como os fundamentos de naturezas ortológica, epistemológica e lógica encontram-se presentes no trabalho científico articulando os vários níveis presentes no processo de investiga??o. por outro, como a metodologia, como disciplina metateórica, tem como objetivo fundamentar as teorias e os métodos e as técnicas de pesquisa que o cientista emprega como instrumental. procura colocar, outrossim, como a saúde pública se inscreve no conjunto das ciências naturais, ciências sociais e ciências formais e o caráter interdisciplinar do campo que daí decorre. trata, finalmente, dos desafios metodológicos que se apresentam ao investigador preocupado n?o somente em aplicar metodologias típicas dos paradigmas de investiga??o vigentes, mas sobretudo em responder às necessidades de avan?o do conhecimento que o campo requer tomando como objeto de estudo as novas quest?es que a este se apresentam e que se colocam à margem da "ciência normal".

Abstract: this article analyzes the film orlando because it is representative of one of the trends which are emerging in the actual process of social changes occurring in the west capitalist societies. the symbolic dimension of these societies comprehends representations such as rationality, objectivity, pragmatism, unpersonalty, utilitarianism, discipline and affective neutrality which constitute the nucleous of the system of predominant social values. a change of this dimension signifies a revolution on the way of social being. orlando suggests a reconciliation between reason, sensibility, emotions, feelings and phantasy, opening place for a androgynous society presided by the erotic principle. the productive dynamic of the capitalism is substituted by a form of sociability marked by affection and enjoyment of living.

Abstract: La Uncaria tomentosa (Willd.) D.C., (u a de gato) es una liana del bosque tropical, que se distribuye en forma natural en la zona Atlántica de Costa Rica, a alturas menores de 600 msnm. La infusión de la corteza de la raíz forma parte del acervo de la medicina tradicional de Costa Rica para aliviar diversas dolencias, como son: la gastritis, la artritis; además, funciona como fortificante del sistema inmunológico y, recientemente, para tratar el cáncer y el VIH. El cultivo in vitro se desarrolló como una herramienta para la micropropagación de plantas en la zona de Guápiles (Pococí), como estrategia de conservación para la explotación comercial sostenible de la especie. En este artículo se describen los protocolos para el establecimiento y la micropropagación a partir de microestacas, en un medio M & S (1962) con 2 mg/L de BA, 3% de sacarosa y 7 g/L de agar; así como la germinación in vitro en el mismo medio M & S (1962) semi sólido (1,8 g/L de Phyta-Gel). Se probó el cultivo en medio líquido, en jarras fermentadoras y en sistemas de inmersión temporal automatizado (RITA ), y fue efectivo el método de inmersión cada tres horas, durante tres minutos. Se describe el proceso de aclimatación, el crecimiento y desarrollo de las vitroplantas.

Abstract: This paper seeks to discuss the approach to teaching the average level of Romanticism, from a theoretical-critical that focuses on the interpretation of the ruins, the counterface of a romantic mirage of Brazilianness, in many textbooks crystallized by treatment of the subject . As a general objective, we hope to contribute not only to look with a review of the school which immobilizes the nineteenth-century style, but also for the construction of alternatives in the study of our literary history, supported by authors who have thought and rethought , at different times, the romantic ideals of a nation. In this dialogue is still expected to point a possible way of teaching an action that by putting our students in front of the dilemmas and impasses of the past, help them to exercise critical thinking in the present and future.

Abstract: A história das ciências como um todo, incluindo a história das ciências humanas e, particularmente, a história da Psicologia, nos presenteia com exemplos de como às vezes o fazer científico é restringido aos lugares comuns da metodologia. Dessa forma, o objetivo deste artigo é refletir sobre a cren a de que a ciência é o próprio método que ela utiliza, demonstrando que metodologias particulares decorrem da ado o de determinados pressupostos filosóficos também particulares, que podem levar o fazer científico a algumas incorre es, nem sempre refutáveis por quest es de lógica. Science history as a whole, including the history of the human sciences and particularly Psychology history, offers good exemples of how scientific development can be inserted in the common place of methodology. Thus, the main goal of this article is to reflect about the belief that science itself is the proper method used. It shows that specific methodologies result from the acceptance of certain philosophical statements, also espefic, which can cause some inaccuracy to scientific development, not always refutable by logics matters.
