Defini es para o resultado de enfermagem comportamento de preven o de quedas: uma revis o integrativa

Abstract: Devido à necessidade de mensurar o risco de quedas em concordancia à linguagem padronizada de enfermagem, foi selecionado o resultado de enfermagem Comportamento para Preven o de Quedas da Nursing Outcomes Classification (NOC), com objetivo de identificar evidências sobre seus elementos, mensura o, compara o com indicadores existentes e construir defini es constitutivas. Foi efetuada revis o integrativa entre abril e novembro de 2009, mediante identifica o da quest o, estabelecimento de critérios de inclus o/exclus o, extra o das informa es, avalia o, interpreta o e síntese. Destacaram-se pesquisas transversais e perspectivas de especialistas. Os indicadores Uso de recursos de corre o da vis o e Uso de sapatos amarrados e do tamanho adequado foram considerados insuficientes para avaliar fatores de risco como déficits sensoriais e roupas/cal ados inadequados. Percebe-se que algumas defini es precisam ser melhor desenvolvidas e que esse resultado de enfermagem merece refinamento sobretudo referente aos indicadores. Foram identificados 22 indicadores e defini es foram propostas baseadas nas evidências da literatura.

Abstract: purpose: was referring the self-care deficit theory to a critical analysis. methodology: a theoretical-reflection study about the aspects of importance and aplicability of chinn and kramer critical analysis model about the self-care deficit theo ry. it was developed between october and december 2008. results: the self-care deficit theory position is essentially related to the nursing philosophy and demonstrates potential to influence nursing actions, especially on education for the selfcare in patients with ischemic heart disease. conclusions: the nursing upon the self-care deficit theory can offer a more healthy conditions and autonomy to the individual with ischemic heart disease.

Abstract: Objective: to identify the profile of nursing diagnosis and socio-demographic conditions of patients in hemodialysis. Method: a cross-sectional exploratory study, with fifteen patients. Data collected by form, organized and analyzed by Excel program. Research accredited for Research Ethics Committee of Ceara Federal University protocol number 087.12.08. Results: most of the participants were male (60%), aged between 21 and 53 years and presented an average nine years of study. The most frequent comorbidity was hypertension. 34 nursing diagnosis were identified, eight of them were presented in 50% or more of the participants. infection risk, impaired skin integrity, willingness to increased religiosity, excess fluid volume, activity intolerance, ineffective scheme therapeutic control, knowledge deficit and sedentary lifestyle were the most expressive. Some diagnoses were a result of improper conduct, such as excessive intake of liquids, non-adherence to prescribed diet, sedentary lifestyle and disobedience. Conclusion: the patients in hemodialysis, the majority young men, presented as main nursing diagnosis infection risk and impaired skin integrity aggravated by immunosuppression condition. Abstract: the purpose was to investigate the behavioral aspects on the follow-up of pharmacologic therapy and no-pharmacologic and the patient's compliance degree to treatment of hypertension in a specific group. observational descriptive study by quantitative analysis accomplished on the reference center of social assistant, ceará, from august 2008 to may 2009. data collected by the interview and physical examination, on 49 individuals. more than 50% of participants followed the non-pharmacological treatment, except the physical activity. it was prevailed the combination therapy (53%), the use of diuretics (72%) and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (55%). almost half (49%) reported adverse reactions, predominantly polyuria and dizziness (29%). the mean of patient's compliance degree was corresponding to light noncompliance. the evaluation of the behavior about therapeutic follow-up and clinical-epidemiological characteristics are necessary to validate educational actions developed by nurses, allowing adjustments to plan of interventions, contributing to a better compliance to the treatment.

Abstract: objective: we aimed to analyze the psychosocial adaptation level of mothers with down?s syndrome children. methodology: the sampling was composed by all mothers of children carriers of down?s syndrome, assisted in a treatment and precocious stimulation?s nucleus that accepted. the data were organized following thematic analysis technique. the adaptation level was classified: integrated (only positive adaptation indicators), compensatory (positive adaptation indicators and adaptation common problems) and compromised (only adaptation common problems). results and discussion: in the self-concept mode, there were 12 cases of compensatory adaptation level, one of integrated level and none committed level. in the role function mode 3 interviewees reached commited level, in 10 cases integrated level and none of compensatory level. in the interdependence mode 10 participants existed attained integrated level, 3 participants showed compensatory level, and any case of commited level of adaptation was registered. conclusions: we verify that all the participants were living a general compensatory adaptation level, whereas any case of completely integrated or commited level was observed.

Abstract: a descriptive study with a qualitative analysis was conducted at a service of early treatment and stimulation from a brazilian university to assess the positive indicators of psychosocial adaptation of mothers of children with down's syndrome. the sample was composed of 13 mothers of children carriers of this syndrome. the behaviors identified were coded and collected according to the indicators of positive adaptation of roy's adaptation model. the main answers of positive adaptation found were as follows: good functioning of self-esteem, utilization of effective facing strategies, interest in increasing the health level, and the family and the spouse as fundamental support systems. it was concluded that mothers, as well as the children carriers of down's syndrome, should be considered as clients needing company, guidance and knowledge imparted by medical and nursing professionals.
Análise dos fatores que interferem no controle da press o arterial de pessoas acompanhadas numa unidade básica de aten o à saúde da família

Abstract: Estudio cuantitativo del tipo transversal de carácter exploratorio-descriptivo que objetivó analizar los factores que influyen en el control de la presión arterial en pacientes registrados y acompa ados en una unidad básica de atención a la salud de la familia. Un intervalo de confianza de 95% y un error muestral de 10% fue delimitado. La muestra se estableció con 85 individuos y fueron aplicadas pruebas del chi-cuadrado para la comprobación de la asociación entre las variables. Para la significación estadística se adoptó un nivel de 5% (a = 0,05). Del total de la muestra un 78,8% presentaron la presión arriba del límite normal. Fueron encontradas frecuencias altas en las variables sintomatología, uso de sal y uso de café. La baja frecuencia en la práctica del ejercicio físico fue descubierta. El uso de terapias alternativas no demostró asociación estadísticamente significativa con los valores de la presión arterial. Apenas la variable grupo etario presentó asociación estadísticamente significativa (p = 0,0476)

Abstract: Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, con análisis cualitativo, en un servicio de tratamiento y estimulación precoz, de una universidad brasile a para valorar los indicadores positivos de adaptación psicosocial de madres de ni os con Síndrome de Down. La muestra estuvo conformada por 13 madres de ni os portadores de este síndrome, acompa adas en el referido servicio. Los comportamientos identificados fueron codificados y reunidos sobre la base de los indicadores de adaptación positiva del modelo de adaptación de Roy. Las principales respuestas de adaptación positiva encontradas fueron: buen funcionamiento de la autoestima, utilización de estrategias efectivas de enfrentamiento, interés por elevar el nivel de salud, y la familia y el cónyuge como principales sistemas de soporte. Se puede concluir que, así como los ni os portadores del Síndrome de Down, las madres deben ser consideradas clientes que necesitan compa ía, orientaciones y conocimientos impartidos por profesionales médicos y de enfermería. Alcoholic liver cirrhosis: a systematic review

Abstract: The nursing assists, with frequency, patient bearers of alcoholic hepatic disease in advanced phase. It aimed to analyze the articles publications which treat about the thematic Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis. Exploratory and descriptive study developed from April to June 2004, by means of consultations BIREME, via Internet, through descriptors Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis. It obtained a total of 62 publications, since 1982 up to 2003, which were coded according to the thematic, consisting the Etiology approaches and physiopathology of the alcoholic Liver disease, Diagnosises studies, Complications, Treatment, Hepatic Carcinoma, Correlation input cirrhosis and another diseases. It was possible to verify that, from decade on of 90, there was a gradual decrease in the number of publications along years. It concluded that the thematic of the researches developed about alcoholic hepatic cirrhosis suffered a profile change, which passed of studies on the etiology and physiopathology of the alcoholic hepatic disease and diagnosises studies for the deepening concerning the complications and, especially, of the treatments.
