Abstract: La production hagiographique du Maghreb occidental médiéval montre que la mer constituait un espace mystique. Plusieurs aspects sont sans cesse présents dans les récits : la marche sur l’eau, l’arrêt des tempêtes et la résistance aux pirates. La mer jouait un r le important dans le développement des réseaux mystiques, entra nant une réorganisation de l’espace. à travers l’analyse des récits hagiographiques, est étudiée la présence des saints sur le littoral et au large, dont la conséquence principale est la contribution à la fixation des populations. The hagiographic production of the medieval western Maghreb shows that the sea established a mystic space. Several aspects are present ceaselessly in narratives: the walking on the water, the stop of storms and the resistance to the pirates. The sea played an important role in the development of the mystic networks, pulling a reorganization of the space. Through the analysis of narratives hagiographics, are studied the presence of the saints on the coast and in the wide, the main consequence of which is the contribution to the fixation of the populations.

Abstract: Le Maghreb central était considéré par l’historiographie arabe du Haut Moyen Age comme le territoire des communautés rurales berbères et lié souvent aux révoltes contre le pouvoir arabe de Kairouan. Mais à partir du xe siècle, il fut intégré à l’espace politico-économique fatimīde, ce qui permettait progressivement à la culture dominante de se répandre en milieu rural grace à l’intervention de l’autorité politico-juridique urbaine, aux itinéraires de commerce et à la fondation de mosquées dans les localités rurales. Les rentes fiscales permettaient aux pouvoirs urbains de contr ler un territoire souvent confié aux chefs locaux. The central Maghreb was considered by the Arab historiography of the medieval Age as the territory of the rural Berber communities and often bound to the revolts against the Arab rulers of Kairouan. But starting from xe century, it was integrated into politico-economic space Fatimide, which gradually made it possible for the dominant culture to be spread in rural areas. That was possible only by the intervention of the urban politico-legal authority, with the routes of trade and the foundation of mosques in the rural localities. The tax revenues reinforced the urban authority to control a territory often entrusted to the local chiefs.

The Schwarz method for a class of elliptic variational inequalities with noncoercive operator was studied in this work. The author proved the error estimate in L∞-norm for two domains with overlapping nonmatching grids using the geometrical convergence of solutions and the uniform convergence of subsolutions.

Abstract: The?convergence of the Internet, sensor networks, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems has ushered to the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) which is capable of connecting daily things, making them smart through sensing, reasoning, and cooperating with other things. Further, RFID technology enables tracking of an object and assigning it a unique ID. IoT has the potential for a wide range of applications relating to healthcare, environment, transportation, cities… Moreover, the middleware is a basic component in the IoT architecture. It handles heterogeneity issues among IoT devices and provides a common framework for communication. More recently, the interest has focusing on developing publish/subscribe middleware systems for the IoT to allow asynchronous communication between the IoT devices. The scope of our paper is to study routing protocols for publish/subscribe schemes that include content and context-based routing. We propose an Energy-Efficient Content-Based Routing (EECBR) protocol for the IoT that minimizes the energy consumption. The proposed algorithm makes use of a virtual topology that is constructed in a centralized manner and then routes the events from the publishers to the intended interested subscribers in a distributed manner. EECBR has been simulated using Omnet++. The simulation results show that EECBR has a significant performance in term of the energy variance compared to the other schemes.

A Multiple Knowledge Sources Algorithm for Anaphora Resolution

Abstract: This study presents a new algorithm for the resolution of anaphoric expressions which uses a few ideas largely accepted by the scientific community in computational linguistics as part of the resolution process. The algorithm driven by a robust morphosyntactic parser uses a set of constraints, which the candidates must not violate, as well as a set of preferences which discriminate among them. We also incorporate the notion of focused entities, and eliminate from further consideration entities included in insertions. The algorithm, written in Prolog, uses Definite Clause Grammars (DCG) for the implementation of the parser as well as the constraints and the preferences. Finally we discuss the results and the efficiency of the algorithm in light of related work in the field.
Toward the Resolution of French Anaphoric Definite Descriptions

Abstract: Anaphora resolution attempts to determine the correct antecedent (entity that it is referred to) of an anaphor (the term pointing back). In what follows, we propose an algorithm for the resolution of anaphoric definite descriptions that relies on lexical, syntactic and semantic knowledge. The semantic knowledge is incorporated as a hand-coded ontology. The algorithm, based on several heuristics, returns an indefinite noun phrase as the antecedent when the latter and the anaphor (the definite expression) satisfy one of the following semantic relations: synonymy, hyperonymy (superclass), hyponymy (subclass), meronymy (part-whole) and the compatibility constraints. The compatibility constraints are applied to the modifiers of the antecedent and to those of the anaphor.

Abstract: Eight new compounds containing in their structures substituted quinoline and pyrazole entity were synthesized in good to excellent yield by cyclocondensation reaction of chalcones and hydrazine hydrate. This reaction was conducted in formic acid in presence of BF3·Et2O or in acetic acid. These approaches were extended to bis-chalcones, which delivered functionalized bispyrazolines. The structures of the prepared compounds were confirmed by IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR and mass spectral analysis.
