Journal of Water Resource and Protection (JWARP) , 2015, DOI: 10.4236/jwarp.2015.717120
Abstract: Current research has been focused on heavy metals pollution in surface water and groundwater and effect on irrigated soil from El Minia Province, north Upper Egypt. Concentration of heavy metals (e.g., As, Co, Hg, Ni, Se, Cd and Cr) in surface water, groundwater and irrigated soil samples is most significantly affected by leachate of many pollutants as the factories, agricultural activities, urban and natural processes. Microbiological parameters and microscopic investigations are revealed that some localities are common by micro-organisms, which are unsuitable for drinking waters.

Abstract: Introduction: This study intends to determine the relationship between loneliness and internet addiction in students of Hamadan University of medical sciences in 2013.Material and Methods: In this cross-sectional descriptive-analytic study, students of Hamadan University of medical sciences were research population that sample involved 130 people which have been selected through random sampling. To gather the data, Loneliness Scale and Internet Addiction Questionnaire was used as well as demographic variables questionnaire. To analyze the data SPSS was used.Results: The findings revealed the characteristics of the research population as follows: high internet addiction and relatively loneliness. Results showed significant relationship between the internet addiction and age, term and level of education, also factors such as marital status, gender and occupation have no significant relation with internet addiction. Analysis indicated there were no statistically significant differences between loneliness and age, term, level of education, marital status, gender and occupation.Discussion: Due to the relatively high rate of Internet addiction in the study population, the findings will be reported to relevant managers and officials, to be considered in planning future.

Saudi Journal of Kidney Diseases and Transplantation , 2010,
Abstract: Infants born to mothers with deficiency of vitamin D and/or calcium due to cultural modifications in their diets, life style and clothing habits, are at risk of developing early and fatal sequelae of hypocalcemic vitamin D deficiency. We present a 44-day-old infant with hypocal-cemia secondary to congenital vitamin D deficiency, who presented as a recurrent Acute Life Threatening Event (ALTE) resulting in an unexpectedly prolonged intensive care course. This report suggests that evaluation of vitamin D status should be included as part of the workup of ALTE and we describe evidence-based preventive measures for both mothers and infants who are at risk for vitamin D deficiency.

International Research Journal of Pharmacy , 2012,
Abstract: A quantitative analysis was carried out to determine the claimed content of sildenafil citrate present in commercial tablet dosage forms of different brands, using the reference standard from the developed method for assay of sildenafil citrate. Nine different samples were analysed using HPLC and UV- Spectrophotometric method.For the HPLC and UV Spectrophotometer result, Pramo V has a percentage content of 103.7% and 102.6%, power 97.5 and 96.5% Man- up 95.2% and 96.9%, soga 104.2% and 104.6, caverta 101.9% and 100.2%, Homograe 102.8% and 100.5% , Teagra 99.0% and 98.4%, vega 91.3% and 91.4% and ceagra 109.1% and 114.4% , respectively. It was observed that both vega and ceagra samples has a percentage concentration of 91.3, 91.4% and 109.1% , 114.4% respectively. They thus failed the analysis test as the percentage content did not fall within the standard range of 95%-105%Based on the result obtained, about 78% of drugs that contain sildenafil citrate passed the analysis, while 22% failed.
EL PROTECTORADO BRITáNICO EN LA COSTA MOSQUITIA, 1837-1849
Ghotme,Rafat;
Revista de Relaciones Internacionales, Estrategia y Seguridad , 2012,
Abstract: the resumption of the british protectorate in mosquitia, has been normally related with imperialist considerations, and, in parallel, to the possession of a zone where it was planned to build an inter-oceanic channel through nicaragua. in reality, these thesis pose serious difficulties to understand the origin and evolution of the mosquitia issue, as they disregard, a priori, other types of factors that, among other things, end up undermining the imperialistic vision; a number of historic and civilization related factors, without doubt, but also strategic and commercial, made great britain to revive the practice of the mosquitia protectorate.

Wear Resistance of High-Volume Fly Ash Concrete
Rafat SIDDIQUE
Leonardo Journal of Sciences , 2010,
Abstract: Wear resistance of high-volume fly ash concrete (HVFA) intended for pavement applications is presented in this paper. In India, yearly production of fly ash is more than 100 million tons. Majority of fly ash is of Class F type. Out of which 20-25% is being utilized in cement-based materials. In order to increase its percentage utilization, an investigation was carried out for its large scale utilization. Concrete mixtures were prepared by replacing cement with 40, 50, and 60% of fly ash. Experiments were conducted for fresh concrete properties, compressive strength and wear resistance. Test results indicated that wear resistance of concrete having cement replacement up to 40% was comparable to the normal concrete. Beyond 40% fly ash content, concretes exhibited slightly lower resistance to wear in relation non-fly ash concretes. There is very good correlation between wear resistance and compressive strength (R2 value between 0.8482 and 0.9787) depending upon age.
