Abstract: rationing criteria in health care establish by auge, in chile, are based, mainly, in maximum efficiency, contrary to the equity principle, which should sustain health care policies in democratic societies. for the application and justification of health care rationing techniques is required not only a medical science and health care economy reflection, but a moral philosophy and bioethical reflection as well. the study of health care distributive justice theories allows to value critically health care rationing criteria used by clinical guidelines for each ges/auge pathology, which operate contrary to the equity principle.

Abstract: this work considers the allocation methods of scarce medical resources budgeted for "health economics". cost-benefit models and the criteria qaly (quality-adjusted life-years) are analyzed as allocation methods that propose to resolve ethical dilemmas related to an economic distribution that seems to prioritize efficient results over more equitable, but inefficient, results.

Abstract: this paper analyze the conditions under which the restriction of women's human rights it is consistent with general theory of human rights. next, examined if it's possible recognize a legally protected interest in the fetus that supports limiting women's rights, in relation with fetus different stages of development. finally, it briefly reviews the controversy regarding the compatibility of a law to decriminalize abortion with chilean constitution.

Abstract: this essays review some conclusive argument to defend social, economic and cultural rights, as well of those reasoning that analyzed and reveal the abuse and ages distinction that have been wanted to maintain that difference. along with the revision of the controversy around "general positive duties", conclude that the satisfaction of basic needs, by means of the recognition of the demandability of the economic, social and cultural rights and the extension of the obligation of its satisfaction to all the people, is fundamental for the construction of democratic societies formed by capable individuals with dignity and moral autonomy.

Abstract: this essay review, first of all, some of the moral dilemmas usually associated to the new possibilities of dying that have arisen through the development of the medical technique in the last few years. there are important ethical issues related with the possibility of delaying artificially the death. that is true for those who wish to continue living but also for those who choose to die without the ?interferences? of the medical advances. secondly, this paper discusses some different concepts of euthanasia and the problems associated to the law project of patient?s rights, especially in some difficult cases.

Abstract: Este trabajo reflexiona en torno a los mecanismos de adjudicación de recursos sanitarios escasos propuestos por la "Economía de la Salud". Se analizan los modelos de costo-beneficio y el criterio QALY (Quality-Adjusted Life-Years) en tanto mecanismos de adjudicación que pretenden resolver los dilemas bioéticos relacionados con una distribución que parece priorizar resultados eficientes por sobre los resultados equitativos pero ineficientes. Este trabalho traz uma reflex o em torno dos mecanismos de adjudica o de recursos sanitários escassos propostos pela "Economia da Saúde". S o analisados os modelos de custo-benefício e o critério QALY (Quality-Adjusted Life-Years) como mecanismos de adjudica o que pretendem resolver os dilemas bioéticos relacionados com uma distribui o que parece priorizar resultados eficientes sobre os resultados eqüitativos, porém ineficientes. Abstract: A partir de la clasificación de los sistemas sanitarios en términos de su financiamiento, número de actores y consecuencias en equidad, este ensayo pretende analizar algunas de las transformaciones producidas en Chile con la reforma del sistema de salud llamada "Plan AUGE" (Acceso Universal de Garantías Explícitas). Se examinan las tareas pendientes para la conversión de un sistema que, manteniendo su carácter mixto, sea capaz de superar sus actuales consecuencias fuertemente regresivas A partir da classifica o de dois sistemas sanitários em termos de seu financiamento, número de atores e conseqüências em termos de equidade, este ensaio pretende analisar algumas das transforma es produzidas no Chile com a reforma do sistema de saúde chamado "Plano AUGE" (Acesso Universal de Garantias Explícitas).
