The Collusion Deterrence with Prisoner’s Dilemma  [PDF]

Abstract: I tried to present a new method to prevent collusion through employing two auditors at the same time and inspiring them provide true report by exploiting their prisoner’s dilemma. But I found this method cannot be put into practice because of the high cost. So I analyzed whether sending the second auditor in a probability, a low cost method, can deter the audit collusion. I find sending the second auditor in a probability, enforcing the rigidly lawful punishment and perfecting the reward mechanism can prevent audit collusion. I also find the auditor’s ethical constraint do good to prevent collusion and the charger of state assets management can play the same role as the real owner of the state-owned enterprise in deterring collusion. This finding provides theory support for the government to implement the publicly audit bidding and random double auditing system on state-owned enterprise. The supervision of PCAOB on auditors is also the operation of this theory.

Abstract: 摘 要: 运用1990―2015年纺织服装业时间序列数据,在对被诉反倾销前后产品出口竞争力进行描述性统计分析的基础上,构建了含有滞后项的动态联立方程模型;并通过GMM估计方法实证检验了中国遭遇反倾销对行业出口规模、出口国际竞争力、出口市场结构的影响,以及各变量之间相互作用下的贸易效应。研究结果表明:反倾销案件的增加将导致产业出口规模的缩减;但产品较强的国际竞争力以及出口市场分散效应带来的贸易增长,又将冲减反倾销产生的不利影响,故国外反倾销的贸易破坏效应不显著。从短期静态看,反倾销将削弱中国纺织服装产品出口竞争力;但从长期动态测算,只要应对有效,则对提升产品出口竞争力有正向影响;而国外反倾销对中国产生贸易偏转效应,又将促进产品出口市场多元化。
Abstract: Based on time-series data of the textile and apparel industry from 1990 to 2015, and using the GMM, the present essay attempts to build a model with simultaneous equations to investigate the impact on China’s export trade by foreign antidumping measures. The results show that although the increasing antidumping cases have a negative effect on reducing the export scale, the stronger international competitiveness of the products and the increase of the trade caused by dispersion effect of export market reduce the negative impact caused by antidumping. Therefore, the destroying effect of foreign antidumping trade is not remarkable. Antidumping will weaken the export competitiveness of the textile and apparel industry in China in the short term, but has positive effect on enhancing products' export competitiveness in the long run. Meanwhile, foreign antidumping actions have certain trade deflection effect, which is beneficial to achieving export market diversification

Abstract: The authors report that the growth rate of ZnO can be significantly increased by modifying the oxygen plasma conditions in plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy. Both the aperture diameter and the distance between the plasma source and the substrate affect the growth rate and the quality of the ZnO films. A short source to substrate distance is essential in achieving higher growth rate, which is explained by reduced chance of oxygen atom collisions to accommodate the short oxygen mean free path at high background pressure. At a shorter source to substrate distance, the growth rate is higher with a larger aperture diameter. The quality of the ZnO thin films grown under different conditions is assessed by x-ray diffraction and room-temperature photoluminescence measurements.

Abstract: It is shown that a novel anomaly associated with transverse Ward-Takahashi identity of axial vector current in QED is derived by using Fujikawa’s method in the path-integral formulation of quantum field theory. Also it is verified that there is no transverse anomaly for the vector current.

Abstract: The KWII and the PAI were critically evaluated and incorporated within an algorithm called CHORUS for analyzing QT. The combinations with the highest values of KWII and PAI identified each known GEI associated with the QT in the simulated data sets. The CHORUS algorithm was tested using the simulated GAW15 data set and two real GGI data sets from QTL mapping studies of high-density lipoprotein levels/atherosclerotic lesion size and ultra-violet light-induced immunosuppression. The KWII and PAI were found to have excellent sensitivity for identifying the key GEI simulated to affect the two quantitative trait variables in the GAW15 data set. In addition, both metrics showed strong concordance with the results of the two different QTL mapping data sets.The KWII and PAI are promising metrics for analyzing the GEI of QT.The clinical presentation of many common complex diseases causing morbidity and mortality are associated with deviations from the population distributions of important quantitative traits (QT). For example, in hypertension and non-insulin dependent diabetes, the disease processes increase the QT, blood pressure and blood glucose, respectively. For many diseases, threshold values of QT are the basis for the diagnostic criteria for the diseases. However, obtaining an in-depth understanding of genetic and environmental determinants of QT such as weight, height and lifespan in healthy populations can also be important scientific questions. The regulation of many QT is typically complex and involves interactions among many genes as well as endogenous and exogenous factors [1,2]. For example, genes in pathways regulating appetite, metabolism, hormones and adipokines may interact with environmental factors such as diet and exercise to determine body weight. Abstract: Resource utilization of silt dredging from rivers and other lake is an important issue that related to many government departments like water conservancy, shipping, land resources, construction management and other industries. It involves social, economic and environmental effects. With the encouragement of national policy of protecting arable land, make use of dredging silt to producing clay wall material is a higher value-added resource utilization than used for fill material and land use. Abstract: 摘 要: 借鉴事件研究法测度了我国对外反倾销事件中立案、初裁及终裁各环节对涉案上市公司价值的影响。研究发现:对外反倾销事件总体上对上市公司价值产生了实质性的正面冲击,终裁事件对上市公司的正面影响更强烈、更持久,而初裁事件的积极影响在资本市场上更早被投资者预期。同时,我国对外反倾销事件对涉案上市公司价值的影响存在行业差异与市场差异。与钢铁行业相比,化工行业上市公司受到的正面冲击更直接、更强烈;上交所上市公司对反倾销事件更敏感,但深交所上市公司能在短期内迅速消化反倾销事件带来的巨大冲击。由此,提出了优化对外反倾销制度的政策建议,以期进一步强化和完善企业的反倾销申诉与执行机制。
Abstract: The method of event study is employed to measure the effects of Chinese anti-dumping on the value of listed companies. The study finds that the grosss effect is positive, and that in the process of anti-dumping, the influence of final anti-dumping measures is much more intense and durable, while the impact of preliminary anti-dumping is expected earlier by investors in the capital market. Meanwhile, differences exist in the effects of Chinese anti-dumping on corporate value in various industries and markets. Compared with that on the steel industry, positive impact on the chemical industry companies is more direct and intense. The Shanghai Stock Exchange listed companies are more sensitive, while the Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed companies can quickly digest the huge positive impacts in the short term. Thus, the present essay presents the policy proposals to optimize anti-dumping system, with which we could strengthen and improve the anti-dumping complaint and enforcement mechanisms of enterprises

Abstract: Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) has the potential to highly express foreign gene. A novel TMV-basedin trans expression system was constructed. A TMV mutant TSHc had its coat protein replaced with hepatitis C virus (HCV) core antigen gene. Anotherr TMV mutant TSBD was replicase-defective. Coinfection of the two mutants could cause systemic infection in tobacco plants byin trans complementation of their functions. TSHc could effectively replicate and assemble to viral particles, which were a little longer than that of wild-type TMV. HCV core antigen was expressed in whole tobacco plants. A similar expression level of HCV core antigen was detected on serial passages, which suggested that this viral expression system be stable.
