PARA ENRIQUECER OS ESTUDOS QUEIROZIANOS
Adelto Rodrigues Gonalves
Fólio : Revista de Letras , 2011,
Abstract: This article analyzes four books on the Portuguese writer E a de Queiroz (1845-1900), three of them, written by A. Campos Matos. In these books, the author discusses not only the work of the novelist and his relationship with Ramalho Ortig o (1836-1915) and Camilo Castelo Branco (1825-1890), Lusitanian other great writers of the nineteenth century, as the various biographies that were written about his life and work. The fourth book, written by the architect Rui Campos Matos, son of A. Campos Matos, brings the illustrations with which he sought "to portray" celebrities E a de Queiroz.
Pedro Gonalves Rodrigues
Intercambio , 2010,
Abstract: The study of Vie de Joseph Roulin and Ma tres et Serviteurs, both written by Pierre Michon, will allow the integration of their author into the modern contemporary French literature. Both texts explore the creative potentialities of overstepping or crossing the frontiers between literary genres, the dimension of auto-reflexivity, inherited from the Nouveau Roman, as well as the use of new strategies, different from those established by the tradition of the 19th century novel. They are both biographical fictions which make it possible to revise and to revisit the past by introducing four famous painters. Simultaneously, both texts favour the reflection on the act of creating and on the sociology of art.
Comportamentos e percep??es sobre os espa?os verdes da cidade de Bragan?a
Fonseca,Fernando; Gonalves,Artur; Rodrigues,Orlando;
Finisterra - Revista Portuguesa de Geografia , 2010,
Abstract: in an era of intense urbanisation, green spaces have become elements of ever greater importance for the quality of the urban environment. how do citizens perceive these spaces? which behavioural patterns do they exhibit? which key advantages and limitations do they most often associate with these spaces? this article presents the results of a study undertaken in the city of bragan?a, which aimed at assessing how the city?s resident population perceives and uses its public green spaces. among other conclusions, it was found: i) that the various social groups exhibit different use patterns; ii) that these use patterns are strongly characterised by seasonality; iii) that age is a significant determinant of the degree of preference for, alternatively, built facilities and natural elements; and iv) that the city?s inhabitants consider the local green spaces to be of generally good quality, and generally acknowledge most of their social and environmental benefits.
As perturba??es alimentares precoces e a sua avalia??o
Gonalves,Maria José; Rodrigues,Eduarda;
Análise Psicológica , 1998,
Abstract: a study on feeding disorders is hereby presented by the authors. the disorders described are frequent features in infant mental health clinic. factors, relating to both mother and child, which encourage feeding development are also described. the specific infant feeding disorder studied in this paper is known as ?early anorexia? and in the author′s experience a disturbed mother-child relationship is always present, either as primary or secondary factor. two clinical syndromes with different psychopathological basis (conflict and insuficiency) are described. the ?failure-to-thrive (?ftt?) syndrome is also portrayed as a consequence of serious inadequacies in infant care. a clinical evaluation model based on 7 parameters used in unidade da primeira infancia is presented. finally, the authors concluded that the study and the evaluation of these disorders require multidisciplinary and structured team work.
Espa o Público e Shopping Center na Cidade Contemporanea: Novos Significados do North Shopping em Fortaleza - CE
Tiago Estevam Gonalves,Tatiane Rodrigues Carneiro
Geografares , 2012,
A remarkable new species of Euragallia from Peru (Insecta, Hemiptera, Cicadellidae, Agalliini), including the description of a peculiar structure of the male genitalia
Luiz Rodrigues,Ana Gonalves,Gabriel Mejdalani
ZooKeys , 2012, DOI: 10.3897/zookeys.178.3038
Abstract: A new species of Euragallia Oman, 1938 from Peru (Pasco Department) is described and illustrated. Euragallia batmani sp. n. can be distinguished from the other species of the genus by the very posteriorly pronounced male pygofer, with an apical hook-like projection, and by the well-developed dorsal area of the aedeagal base, resembling the open wings of a bat. With the addition of E. batmani sp. n., the number of Euragallia species is increased to 21. Only one additional species of the genus is recorded from Peru (E. prion Kramer, 1976). A comparison between the new species and E. prion is provided. A conspicuous structure, which connects the subgenital plates to the styles, is described in detail and named.

Leaf Gas Exchange, Photon Capture and Light Harvest in Aldina heterophylla along a Vegetation Gradient in the Amazon Rainforest  [PDF]
Jo?o Victor Figueiredo Cardoso Rodrigues, José Francisco de Carvalho Gonalves
American Journal of Plant Sciences (AJPS) , 2014, DOI: 10.4236/ajps.2014.510163
Abstract:

Adaptation along environmental gradients is presumed to induce physiological and biochemical leaf changes in plant species. In this paper, we report how leaf gas exchange, photon capture and light harvest for photosynthesis in Aldina heterophylla change along a vegetation gradient from low stature open vegetation on extremely nutrient-poor white sand (Campina, CP), through inter-mediate closet type (Campinarana, CR) to tall closed rain forest (RF). The pigment concentrations did not differ between the CP, CR and RF habitats. The performance index for the photosynthesis (PIABS) of individuals in RF and CP was approximately 30% higher than that in CR individuals. This species showed similar potential rates of photosynthesis in the different vegetation types; however, the dark respiration rates were higher in CP. Our results indicate that the differences in the leaves and soil nitrogen concentrations are not enough to change the levels of gas exchange. Other environmental features may be driving the observed morphological features in this gradient, in particular, the tree height.

Effect of the Addiction of Metal Oxide Nanoparticles on the Physical, Chemical and Thermal Properties of PVA Based Nanocomposites  [PDF]
Raquel Couto de Azevedo Gonalves Mota, Emerson Oliveira da Silva, Lívia Rodrigues de Menezes
Materials Sciences and Applications (MSA) , 2018, DOI: 10.4236/msa.2018.95033
Abstract: In this study, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA)-based nanocomposites consisting of metallic oxide nanoparticles (TiO2, ZnO, ZrO2) were obtained from an aqueous solution of 7% PVA, in order to compare the microstructural, and physical properties of bionanocomposite films reinforced with various loading contents (0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3% w/w). They were evaluated regarding their molecular toughness through Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), regarding their chemical structural through Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), regarding their crystallinity throught X-ray Diffraction (XRD), and regarding termal properties through Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). The NMR results showed that the smallest concentrations of these oxides have a tendency to disperse better in the polymeric matrix, improving the structural toughness. Besides, changes in the termal resistance of the material were found with the use of TGA and DSC.
