The statistical process control methods - SPC
Floreková ?ubica
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 1998,
Abstract: Methods of statistical evaluation of quality SPC (item 20 of the documentation system of quality control of ISO norm, series 900) of various processes, products and services belong amongst basic qualitative methods that enable us to analyse and compare data pertaining to various quantitative parameters. Also they enable, based on the latter, to propose suitable interventions with the aim of improving these processes, products and services. Theoretical basis and applicatibily of the principles of the: - diagnostics of a cause and effects, - Paret analysis and Lorentz curve, - number distribution and frequency curves of random variable distribution, - Shewhart regulation charts, are presented in the contribution.
Quality of university education starting points and objectives
Floreková ?ubica
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2002,
Abstract: Quality of university education as a service for clients (students, potential employers, and society) is presently a very important goal for university and their faculties.International agreements (Bologna appeal of Ministries of Education from 1998), international institutions (OECD a list of internationally validated universities and study branches, and the Slovak legislation (Act No 131/2002 on universities, Act No 132/2002 on scientist and techniques) must be implemented in the context of the self evaluation process of educational institutions and of the European Foundation Quality Model of Excellence (EFQM).The given documents allow making an internal analysis by any university oriented to the process and consumer approach and to the objectives, forms, content and organization of university education. The quality of education is a subsystem of the quality of the educational institution. This quality determines the competitive status of this institution on the market of postsecondary and part-time education. The quality of university education is however connected not only with the material and information sources, but also especially with the human factor. Ethos, pathos and logos, i.e. the soft factors of universities as providers of education are necessary part of every Alma Mater.
TQM - process of continuous improvement of production/services
Floreková ?ubica
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 1996,
Abstract: In this contribution, various aspects of the quality assessment - a continuous index of the life cycle of establishments of various types - are introduced using the total quality management (TQM) approach. The setting of standards, documentation and of the ISO 9000 quality management models leads to the on - line principle of permanent improving quality of production and services. The quality becomes a strategic parameter of the establishment culture, prestige and image.
Information system for wastes
èurpeková Anna,Floreková ?ubica
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 1997,
Abstract: The contribution deals with problems of industrial wastes, especially with fly ashes. Arguments for the creation of the Information system, his conceptual design, and data and function models are shown.
A selection of proper regression models from their existing set: qualitative, quantitative, graphical and logical criteria
Floreková ?ubica,Benková Marta
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 1999,
Abstract: The contribution presents an approach to the solution of the problem of processing experimental data of various origin using methods of regression and correlation analysis for two- and threedimensional relations between variables. It concentrates on calculation procedures, based on the lastsquare method and other possibilities of obtaining continual information about the quality of processed data as well as of resultant regression models

Applying of the economic tools in the system of environmental managing
Floreková ?ubica,èuchranová Katarína
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2001,
Abstract: Economic tools in the system of environmental managing play in present time very important task, mainly in firms, that strongly pollute living environment. Importance of the living environment protection is still increasing and new market conditions of the world global society demand implementation of the new environmental and ecologically effective technologies and tools for securing of the high quality for living environment.High costs, that are paid for polluted living environment present big burden for firms, that pollute living environment. Level of costs is still increasing, and by this way economic growth of the firms is declined and due to this fact it is neccessary to realize, that change of total attitude to the protection and creation of living environment must penetrate also to the firm′s life.
Activity based costing method
Floreková ?ubica,èuchranová Katarína
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2001,
Abstract: Activity based costing is a method of identifying and tracking the operating costs directly associated with processing items. It is the practice of focusing on some unit of output, such as a purchase order or an assembled automobile and attempting to determine its total as precisely as poccible based on the fixed and variable costs of the inputs. You use ABC to identify, quantify and analyze the various cost drivers (such as labor, materials, administrative overhead, rework.) and to determine which ones are candidates for reduction.A processes any activity that accepts inputs, adds value to these inputs for customers and produces outputs for these customers. The customer may be either internal or external to the organization. Every activity within an organization comprimes one or more processes. Inputs, controls and resources are all supplied to the process.A process owner is the person responsible for performing and or controlling the activity. The direction of cost through their contact to partial activity and processes is a new modern theme today. Beginning of this method is connected with very important changes in the firm processes.ABC method is a instrument , that bring a competitive advantages for the firm.
Application of the process approach in designing study plans
Gabriela Bogdanovská,ubica Floreková,Marcela ?arnogurská
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2006,
Abstract: The article is concerned with an application of the process approach in designing study planes. This application is same for all areas. A difference between university and industrial organisations is also taken into consideration. The target of universities is to offer an education, which is realized effectively, verifiably, (measurably and valuable), to function effectively organization, has to identity and manage activities. The application of a system of processes within an organization, together with the identification and interactions of these processes, can be referred to as the “process approach”.
The variability of quality parameters and loss function
Marta Benková,ubica Floreková,Gabriela Bogdanovská
Acta Montanistica Slovaca , 2005,
Abstract: The object of this paper is assign the advantage of conjoint exploit the methods for the analysis and the valuation of the quantitative indicators quality of the different products. From statistical point of view maintenace or transgress of the permissible tolerance interval of these indikators means their different variability. The high variability of the quality parameters is quadraticaly connected with the costs of the nonconformance/nonquality. The complementary approach to the same problem have always higher cancellation value than the application of only the statistical or only the economical valuation form.
