gating技术与汉语听觉词汇加工

Abstract: ?尝试对gating技术的实施和运用,对数据进行探索性分析。被试为47名北京师范大学本科学生。实验中被试听到依次加长的单字词语音片段,每听完一个语音片段要尽快判断该语音是什么字音,并迅速写出想到的第一个符合该读音的汉字,同时在七点量表上评定作出判断的确定性等级。结果显示,gating技术作为探讨汉语听觉词汇加工的一条途径可以提供丰富的信息,它不仅能得到词汇的语音识别点(isolationpoint,ip),也揭示出它与声调存在一定关系。对错误反应的分析还表明:声调信息可以独立于音段信息而被识别;即时影响声调识别的因素不一定局限于区别性特征;听觉词汇识别受到听觉语言特有的方向性特点的影响,这种影响不仅体现在音段信息、也体现在超音段信息的识别中

Abstract: Attempt to use gating paradigm and analyze data exploringly, the present study e xamined spoken word recognition of Chinese. The subjects were 47 undergraduates from Beijing Normal University, China. Each Mandarin monosyllable word was prese nted in duration-blocked format. The acoustic information of each word was incre ased cross groups with 40msec a gate. The subjects were asked to write down the word being presented and to indicate how confident they were about each guess on a 7-point scale. The results suggested that gating paradigm, as an approach for investigation of spoken word recognition of Chinese, provided rich informat ion, such as isolation point (IP), and the relationship of IP and tone. Furthe rmore , error analysis showed more details of processing. First, tone can be re cognized independently. Second, although tonal information is represented in mental lexicon in terms of distinctive features, these features are not the onl y constraints in on-line tone recognition. And finally, spoken word recognition , both for segmental and suprasegmental information , is influenced by the te mporal order of tone pronunciation.

Abstract: 采用移动窗口方法,初步探讨了音音、字形在汉语阅读中的作用。结果发现:在错词经一、二个字上,被度的阅读反应时加长;同音错词和形似错词同时引起反应时的增加;同音词引起的反应时增加效应消失得较早、较彻底,这表明:T上的汉语阅读理解过程中,(1)对语音和这形的加工是比较好时的;(2)语音和字形在正常阅读的字词识别早期同样起作用;(3)在在发现错误一,语音引导错误恢复的能力强于字形。

Abstract: Understanding the nature of lexical access for ambiguous words has been the aim of many psycholinguistic studies in the past two decades. The principle issue concerns whether all meanings of an ambiguous word are activated at the same time or ordered and selective access is led by meaning frequency and context. In lexical decision task, Zhang et al. (1999) had found that meaning access of Chinese homographs is mainly affected by the relative frequency of meanings, and referential sentence context had no effect on the access of homograph's subordinate meaning. Using a primed naming task, the present study examined the time course of meaning activation of Chinese syntactic category ambiguous words in isolation In four SOAs (43, 84, 200 and 400ms), subjects named target single character words that were semantic related to the more frequent or less frequent meaning of an ambiguous single character prime. The results showed that two meanings of ambiguous words were both activated, with the dominant meaning retrieved earlier than the subordinate meaning. After initial activation, the less frequent meaning became less active, while the dominant meaning maintained a high level of activation. It was suggested that relative frequency played an important role in the multiple activation process of Chinese syntactic category ambiguous words.

Abstract: Meaning activation of Chinese syntactic category ambiguous words in biased sentence context was concerned in this study, in which cross modal priming paradigm and character decision task were used, the 134 participants were students from Beijing Normal University. The results showed that sentence context worked on meaning activation at a very early stage. Although context effect interacted with relative frequency, at the shortest ISI appropriate meaning was facilitated more than inappropriate meaning. Furthermore, in inappropriate context, dominant meaning was not activated, while relative frequency interacted with context, and sustained dominant meaning after the effect of context declined. It suggests that context plays an early role of meaning access of Chinese syntactic ambiguous words, with facilitating appropriate meaning and inhibiting inappropriate meaning which was possibly activated. And relative frequency interacts with context in meaning activation of ambiguous words. These evidences support the interactive theory, in which lexical processing is influenced by information from a higher level.
THE ROLE OF PARTIAL INFORMATION A PHONETIC PROVIDES IN LEARNING AND MEMORIZING NEW CHARACTERS

Abstract: Phonetic awareness has been reported to be important in acquisition of Chinese characters. Using a learning-testing task, which is almost the same as the task a teacher uses in the classroom, the present study examined the role of partial information a phonetic provided for pronunciation of character in learning and memorizing new characters. The basic method is, in a serials of experiments, children are asked to learn and memorize three types of characters: (1) Characters in which the phonetic provides full information (onset, rime and tone) for pronunciation of the whole character, that is regular character. (2) Characters in which the phonetic provides partial information for pronunciation of the whole character, like tone-different character (onset and rime) and onset-different character (rime). (3) Characters in which the phonetic provides no information for pronunciation of the whole character, like phonetic-unknown character. The results showed: (a) Characters in which the phonetic provides full information were better learned than characters in which the phonetic provides partial information, and characters in which the phonetic provides partial information were learned better than characters in which the phonetic provides no information. (b) Children got higher score on tone-different semi-regular characters than on onset-different characters. All these suggested that children can make use of partial information and they are sensitive to different degrees of partial information. So partial information is helpful for children in learning and memorizing new Chinese characters.
UTILIZING PHONOLOGICAL CUES IN CHINESE CHARACTERS: A DEVELOPMENTAL STUDY

Abstract: Phonetic radicals in Chinese characters can provide cues for the pronunciation of whole characters. These cues can be consistent, making all the characters containing a particular radical to be pronounced in the same way. They can also be inconsistent allowing chanaters containing the same radical to be pronounced in different ways. This study investigated school children's awareness of orthographic structure and the use of phonological cues of phonetic radicals. Subjects were asked to judge whether two characters having the same phonetic radical were homophones. In each pair, the first character was a familiar character while the second one was a new character. In guessing the pronunciation of the second character and making judgment children had to be aware of the orthographic structure of the familiar and new characters and use their knowledge about the phonological value of the phonetic radical. It was found that children's judgment was influenced by the consistency of phonetic radicals in providing phonological cues to the whole characters. Pairs containing consistent radicals were less likely to be judged as non-homophones than pairs containing inconsistent radicals. This effect was more pronounced as children were getting older.
褐牙鲆、夏鲆及其杂交子代核型与DAPI 带型分析

Abstract: 为了深入剖析褐牙鲆与夏鲆杂交后代的染色体结构,本研究利用秋水仙素-低渗-空气干燥法制备胚胎染色体和DAPI(4’,6’-diamidino-2-phenylindole)荧光染色的方法,对褐牙鲆(Paralichthysolivaceus)、夏鲆(Paralichthysdentatus)及其正反交子代胚胎细胞的染色体组型和染色质的分布进行了研究。结果表明,褐牙鲆、夏鲆及其正交子代(褐牙鲆♀×夏鲆♂)染色体组均含有48条端部着丝粒染色体,染色体组型公式均为2n=48t,组内染色体长度分布连续,三者核型相似。反交子代(夏鲆♀×褐牙鲆♂)为46条端部着丝粒染色体,比亲本及正交子代少了两条染色体。DAPI荧光染色显示,褐牙鲆1号染色体中的一条染色体有较明显的次缢痕,夏鲆及正反交子代染色体中未见明显次缢痕。褐牙鲆与正交子代染色体着色较为均一,而夏鲆与反交子代着丝粒区域亮度明显增强。
