On the Measurement of niche Overlap in Plant Communities

Abstract: In this paper, the importance of niche overlap to plant ecology is expounded. It is pointed out that the measurement of niche overlap between plant species is distinct from that between animal species.The author suggests that ecological factor gradient should be replaced by community gradient and the interval of ecological distance may be used as weighting factor in the formula for measuring niche overlap. Thus measurement of overlap can be simplified. Taking the herbs growing under the forests of the Mahan Mountain as an example, the author measured the overlaps between species on two different conditions respectively, i. e. first on the gradient of light intensity, soil moisture and organic matter, and then on the community gradient. Both the results were analysed. Finally, the difference between partial overlap and total overlap and that between quadrats and resource states were discussed.
Global Optimization Method For Computing Frequencies Of Structures With Interval Uncertain Parameters

Abstract: Based on the inclusion monotone property of interval functions, a global optimization method is proposed to compute the upper and lower bounds of the natural frequencies of uncertain structures. Two computational models are presented, in which the interaction among uncertain parameters in the stiffness matrix and the mass matrix was neglected or taken into consideration respectively. A real code genetic algorithm is used to solve these optimization models. A monotone analysis method, which can obtain the exact frequencies' intervals of shear-frame structures and multi-mass-spring systems, is introduced to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Numerical examples showed that the interaction among the uncertain parameters in the stiffness matrix and the mass matrix should be taken into consideration and the results of interval perturbation method could be improved distinctly. The method to form the interval stiffness matrix and the interval mass matrix firstly and then consider the eigenvalues' intervals of the general interval matrix eigenvalue problem about the obtained interval matrices as the solution of the uncertain structures may enlarge the solution domain of the original problem.

Abstract: In this paper, stabilization and control design for a class of nonlinear systems with unknown constant parameters are investigated. For the class of nonlinear systems,new design method of parameters estimator and adaptive backstepping controller is presented. The Lyapunov function is constructed, and a new sufficient condition that guarantees the closed-loop system is globally asymptotically stable is presented. Finally, an example shows the validity of the result.

Abstract: 运用 Sterner 和 Bodnar(1984)提出的愈合裂隙的实验技术,在石英中成功地合成了烃类包裹体,并对合成的包裹体进行了岩相学观察、显微温度测定及激光拉曼光谱分析等。实验揭示出除合成压力之外,合成温度、反应时间和油水比例是烃类包裹体合成时几个需要重点考虑的因素。此外,合成时加入的初始溶液盐度和酸碱度也值得进一步考虑。人工合成烃类包裹体为研究天然烃类包裹体的形成机制及测定分析奠定了基础。

Abstract: Salt-tolerant callus was selected from immature embryo and young inflorescence segments of wheat ( Triticum aestivum ) which seeds were carried by spacecraft,and the salt tolerant stability of their progenies were studied on physiological and biochemical characterization.The results showed that:(1) The relative content of free proline in salt-selected wheat plantlet's progencies was higher than that in unselected ones at higher NaCl concentration soils;(2) The salt-selected lines had higher K~+/Na~+ ratio;(3) Four additional specific electrophoretic bands of gliadin (b2,b3,b5 and b7) were detected and one band (b8) disappeared in F_4 seeds from salt-selected lines;(4) 26 electrophoretic bands of soluble protein were observed in F_4 plants from salt-selected lines,whereas only 23 bands in control lines.Of which 98 kD,75 kD,52 kD,49 kD and (32 kD) bands were specific in salt-tolerant line,38 kD and 35 kD protein bands only appeared in (control) lines.

Abstract: 本文以垂穗披硷草为材料研究了多年生植物群个体大小与密度的关系。研究结果表明,垂穗披硷草个体生物量与密度间的直线回归斜率β的绝对值于生长初期较小,随着生长时间的延长有所增加,但最大的β绝对值仅为1.02从未达到-3/2。单株分孽数与密度间的回归斜率始终保持在较小的绝对值上。生活第三年种群密度对自生幼苗具有一定的影响。

Abstract: 从种-多度关系和物种多样性对高寒草甸和高寒灌丛在不同放牧强度下群落结构特性的分析表明,种在群落中的相对重要性发生了变化,种相对多度的分布模式符合对数正态分布,并随放牧强度的变化显示出有规律的改变;同时,表示群落结构特性的指数(Simpson多样性指数λ、Shannon信息多样性指数H'、McIntosh多样性指数Dmo、均匀性指数E和物种丰富度指数R)值在各放牧强度群落间却未表现出统计学上的显著差异(P>0.05)。这表明在有些情况下单纯对物种多样性等指数值的比较并不一定能准确地反映出群落结构上的变化,同时也证实了West关于多样性指数值保持不变或近似但群落结构可能发生变化的推断。

Abstract: The task of building harmonious campus has to be carried out in an environment in which there exist the complication of the interests structure in and outside universities,the disharmony in which administrative power and academic power coexist,and the ideological and cultural diversity. Thus,as the modern university system requires,CCP should play its role in balancing the interests of those concerned in and outside universities,building an appropriate structure of the coexistence of administrative power and academic power,and creating a free atmosphere for cultural development by absorbing anything valuable from various sources.
