Effects of EGTA, verapamil and trifluoperazine on ABA, and xylem sap pH of maize seedling under drought stress

Abstract: The effects of EGTA,verapamil and trifluoperazine on ABA contents of organs and xylem sap pH of maize seedling under drought stress were studied. The results show that the xylem sap pH of maize under drought stress is increased after treated by EGTA,verapamil or trifluoperazine.When the maize is treated by EGTA or verapamil,the ABA contents of leaf,stem or root decrease and are not related to the ABA concentration in the sap whose changes are complex.After being treated by trifluoperazine,the ABA content in the root increases,but decreases in the leaf and the stem.At the same time,the ABA concentration decreases in the leaf sap,but ABA concentrations in the stem and leaf doesn't change obviously.
Molecular dynamics study for the melting curve of MgO at high pressure

Abstract: Shell-model molecular dynamics method is used to study the melting temperatures of MgO at elevated temperatures and high pressures using interaction potentials. Equations of state for MgO simulated by molecular dynamics are in good agreement with available experimental data. The pressure dependence of the melting curve of MgO has been calculated. The surface melting and superheating are considered in the correction of experimental data and the calculated values, respectively. The results of corrections are compared with those of previous work. The corrected melting temperature of MgO is consistent with corrected experimental measurements. The melting temperature of MgO up to 140GPa is calculated.

Abstract: 摘要 目的:对奥敏清牙齿脱敏剂联合Er:YAG激光治疗青少年牙本质敏感症的疗效进行研究。方法:78例(共163颗患牙)青少年牙本质敏感症患者随机分为奥敏清组(n=54)、激光组(n=55)和联合组(n=54),奥敏清组患者给予单一奥敏清牙齿脱敏剂涂布治疗,激光组患者给予单一的Er:YAG激光照射治疗,联合组患者在Er:YAG激光照射后再涂布奥敏清牙齿脱敏剂治疗,比较治疗前、治疗即刻和治疗后1周、1月、3月、6月VAS值、总有效率。另将20颗新鲜离体牙随机分为4组,分别用生理盐水、奥敏清牙齿脱敏剂、Er:YAG激光及奥敏清联合Er:YAG激光处理,扫描电镜观察各模型样本形态。 结果:联合组在治疗即刻及治疗后各时间点的VAS值均显著低于奥敏清组和激光组(P<0.05);总有效率均显著高于奥敏清组和激光组(P<0.05);奥敏清组和激光组在治疗即刻、治疗后1周、1月、3月时的总有效率差异无统计学意义,但激光组在治疗后6月的总有效率却显著高于奥敏清组(P<0.05)。扫描电镜结果显示奥敏清、Er:YAG激光及奥敏清联合Er :YAG激光处理均可封闭牙本质小管,且奥敏清联合Er:YAG激光的封闭效果最佳。结论:奥敏清牙齿脱敏剂联合Er:YAG激光治疗青少年牙本质敏感症具有较好的临床效果

Abstract: 采用H2O2浸渍的修饰方法对ACF进行化学改性,并利用氮吸附等温线和XPS(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy)的方法对ACF样品进行表征。通过在反应床上开展吸附实验,由此测定改性前后ACF脱除VOC(甲苯作为VOC的代表物)的效果,同时考察氧气、温度、水蒸气等因素对ACF脱除甲苯的影响。研究发现,改性使得ACF样品比表面积和孔容略有降低,但表面含氧官能团含量增加,吸附甲苯的能力也因此增强。当模拟烟气中O2浓度为5%时,ACF脱除VOC效果达到最佳,超过5%之后,氧的促进效果不再明显;温度40℃为最佳吸附温度;当烟气中加入水蒸气时,ACF对VOC的脱除效率降低。
Test System for Infrared Focal Plane Detectors Based on PCIE

Abstract: A low-cost and efficient parameter test system for infrared focal plane arrays(IRFPA)was introduced. The test bench including control module, blackbody, UFPA module, signal acquisition module and the host computer program was established and the critical technologies of this system were analyzed. This system can realize real-time signal acquisition, and at the same time it can be used to analyze some important parameters, such as root mean square noise,nonuniformity, responsivity, detectivity, noise equivalent power(NEP) and noise equivalent temperature difference(NETD), and so on. This system also can accurately determine the number and location of bad pixels, analyze, assess, and store the performances parameter of each good pixel of devices.

Abstract: A bacterial strain, designated as Jin-1, was isolated from a water sample taken from the Jinyang Lake located in the suburbs of Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. Its morphologic and tinctorial properties, nutritional requirements, growth characteristics, biochemical reactions, as well as results of DNA and peptide analysis overall met the criteria for identification of Legionella pneumophila. In serogrouping, extensive cross-reactions between Jin-1 and the type strains of L. pneumophila serogroup 1 through 14 were observed in both slide and tube agglutination tests mediated by the IgM antibodies. However, Jin-1 revealed the L. pneumophila serogroup 5 specificity in IFA, ELISA and dot-ELISA, all mediated by the IgG antibodies. Jin-1 was finally identified as a strain of L. pneumophila serogroup 5 with more complex antigenic composition than the ATCC type strain of this serogroup. The taxonomic conclusion has been confirmed by CDC. A Legionella pneumophila strain which serologically cross-reacting with so many serogroups of this species has never been reported in the published articles. It is presumed that the cross-reacting antigen of Jin-1 belongs to the thymus-independent antigen by nature.
Fabrication of Ultrathin Films of CdTe Quantum Dots by Electrostatic Self-assembly Method

Abstract: Negatively charged and monodisperse CdTe quantum dots (QDs) with average size of about 5nm were synthesized in aqueous solution using 3-mercaptopropionic acid as stabilizing reagent. Through the electrostatic interactions among the negative surface charges on CdTe QDs, the cationic groups of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) (PDDA) and the anionic groups of poly(sodium 4-styrene-sulfonate) (PSS), ultrathin multilayer of CdTe QDs were fabricated on the pretreated quartz substrate by layer-by-layer electrostatic self-assembly method. UV-Vis spectra, photoluminescence spectra, XPS and AFM were used to characterize the ultrathin films. The results show that there is a linear relationship between the adsorption and the layer numbers of the thin films, indicating that the resultant nanofilms have good quality. The ultrathin films are flatly deposited on the quartz surface with some aggregates of CdTe QDs on it. The stability and quality of the films can be improved by the introduction of polyelectrolyte multilayers of PDDA/PSS/PDDA between two adjacent layers of CdTe QDs on the substrate. The prepared ultrathin films of CdTe QDs show good photoluminescence property.
Analysis of Interference Spectrum of Separated Long-Period Fiber Grating Pairs and Its Applications

Abstract: The interference transmission spectrum of cascaded long-period fiber gratings, which is inserted a section of standard fiber, is investigated. Based on the design of key aspects, the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is used to design a flattened broadband transmission spectrum with transmission loss of nearly 50%. By cascading two such identical long period fiber gratings, a useful tunable multi-channel isolation filter is designed. The influence of polarization of the inserted fiber on the interference spectrum is discussed.
Molecular dynamics of MgSiO3 perovskite melting

Abstract: The melting curve of MgSiO分子动力学 MgSiO3钙钛矿 熔化温度 高压melting temperature, molecular dynamics, high pressureProject supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (Grant Nos 10274055 and 10376021),the Natural Science Foundation of Gansu Province, China (Grant No 3ZS051-A25-027) and the Scientific Research Foundation of Education Bureau of Gansu Province, China (Grant No 0410-01).2005-01-125/8/2005 12:00:00 AMThe melting curve of MgSiO3 perovskite is simulated using molecular dynamics simulations method at high pressure. It is shown that the simulated equation of state of MgSiO3 perovskite is very successful in reproducing accurately the experimental data. The pressure dependence of the simulated melting temperature of MgSiO3 perovskite reproduces the stability of the orthorhombic perovskite phase up to high pressure of 130GPa at ambient temperature, consistent with the theoretical data of the other calculations. It is shown that its transformation to the cubic phase and melting at high pressure and high temperature are in agreement with recent experiments.
