Tola,Eleonora;
Circe de cl??sicos y modernos , 2007,
Abstract: cadmus'episode opens book iii of ovid's metamorphoses and puts him in the crossing of a double foundation: that of the theban cycle and that of a poetics of transgression that extends over the whole text. such poetics is based on the gaze as a factor of sacrilegious behaviours. in this sense, the main components of cadmus' story are scattered through the other narrations of metamorphoses iii, which develop them according to their own plot. the profanation of the nemora sacra constitutes the departure point of the cycle of misfortunes of the theban family. it's closure is the final metamorphosis of cadmus and his wife harmonia into serpents. in this paper we intend to explore the construction of this poetics founded on prohibition in metamorphoses iii. we will make emphasis on the idea of transgression related to the metamorphic process suffered by its characters.

Borges, Luciana Souza;Alencar, Heloisa Moulin de;

Abstract: we investigated the judgments of representation of reality (jrr) and judgment of moral value (jmv) about transgressing actions, concerning the past and present time, of 20 homicidal men aged between 30 and 49 years. individual interviews using the clinical piagetian method were carried out and the following were verified: the most cited jrr in the past was the one that they would commit the homicide again, due the suffered humiliation or the experienced negative feeling; in the present they reported they would not kill again due to the crime negative consequences, to their own or the victim's characteristics and life’s value; the jmv most mentioned in the past was the one that the action would be wrong due the negative consequences; in the present all of them considered wrong the committed homicides due to the negative consequences, value attributed to life and religious reasons. we expect that this discussion permit a deeper understanding of the homicidal individual so that universal principles such as respect for life can be taught and taken into consideration.

Cotidianidad y significación: aproximaciones al tema de la memoria desde el pensamiento de Humberto Giannini
Nelson Vergara Mu?oz
Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente , 2011,
Abstract: This work reviews fundamental concepts of the Daily Life Theory, from the Chilean philosopher Humberto Giannini, in order to cast light on it, and is based on two key notions of temporality – the time of fairs and the festive time – from where a vital function of Memory can be the final purpose is to contribute, theoretically and methodologically, with works of rescue of the collective memory of social groups inserted in the cultural and natural life in their dailiness. Here we perceive, as much as in the investigation that serves us as basis, the daily life as the essential and primary socio-historical and natural environment, in which human existence develops and we assume its interpretation from a philosophical perspective. In this context, we think the memory as a socio-historical construction and assess its function as re-creator of lived or dreamed worlds, more than a natural reproducer of events. In that situation the imaginary component that constitutes it must be evident. Therefore we notice the importance of the narration as an essential factor of every remembrance process that is gathered from sacred to profane tales, which express the becoming of times, in all places and languages, more specifically, in every culture and environment. To justify these theses, this work initiates with the characterization of the basic instances of every dailiness, followed by the reflection around time and its narrations to ground the historical emergency of the memory, and culminates with fundamental reflections of the working times, festive times and the role of memory of these temporalities. These approaches inform about the socio-historical, cultural and environmental character of the remembrance processes and, eventually, of oblivion.
Entre a Deusa e a Bruxa: reflex es sobre o imaginário pag o em Agustina Bessa-Luís
Tatiana Alves Soares Caldas
Brathair , 2005,
Abstract: In her literary work, the contemporary Portuguese writer Agustina Bessa-Luís challenges the canons with a reinterpretation of the established codes. The female's place in a rigidly patriarchal culture is treated in a critical manner, redefining the role of the woman in society.The struggle between Christianity and Paganism, one of the principal themes in her literary production, emphasizes women's answer to masculine oppression. By seeing a resistance to the phallocratic pressures of Christianism in the characterization and trajectory of the protagonists, our analysis emphasizes the narrative, social, and religious aspects of the rebellion contained in Agustinian writing. Believing that Celtic Heritage plays a part in the resurgence of feminine power, this article seeks to analyse the pagan element as a structural axis in the subversion proposed in the author's work.
Teoría del comportamiento planificado e intención de infringir normas de transito en peatones
Moyano Díaz, Emilio;
Estudos de Psicologia (Natal) , 1997, DOI: 10.1590/S1413-294X1997000200008
Abstract: based on the theory of planned behavior, the paper analyzes traffic rules violating behavior in pedestrians, testing a self-report scale that deals with frequency of transit norms violations, error committing and having lapses when using the streets. 146 inhabitants of the city of santiago were intentionally selected, making up a balanced sample in terms of a) genre, b) having or not driving license, c) age (young, 17-25 years, or adult, 26 years or more), and d) with experience of transit accident or not, who voluntarily and anonymously completed a "questionnaire of opinion about pedestrian behavior" and a "scale of pedestrian behavior". the attitude towards behavior, the subjective norm and the perceived control explain about 40% of the variance of intention to transgress. pedestrian behavior is also significantly different for young vs. adults for the three variables of the model, demonstrating that the first are more prone to violating behavior, perceive the subjective norm as less inhibiting of transgression, and exhibit less control over violating behavior with behavioral intention of higher probability to make it happen. the results of the scale of pedestrian behavior indicate that young pedestrians perpetrate more transgressions, errors and lapses when in transit than adults.
Homoerotismo e abje??o em O lugar sem limites de José Donoso
Barcellos,José Carlos?;
Literatura y lingüística , 2007, DOI: 10.4067/S0716-58112007000100007
Abstract: the place without limits, novel published in 1996 by the chilean writer josé donoso, has come to be the object of countless readings, mostly allegoric. to gay literary critics, a realistic reading has become possible, which seriously reveals the main character manuela's condition of being a transvestite. following this line, the work turns to the idea of abjection to interpret the way in which the character vindicates positively the marginal place which has been assigned to him. in this sense, it is opposed to other readings, in terms of the idea of transgression.
