Abstract: the genera oratha walker 1863 and hasodima butler 1882 from central and southern chile are redefined and its species revised and described. the species are oratha significata walker 1863, h. elegans butler 1882, h. boreas (butler 1882) and h. bartletti sp. nov. the analysis of the types and the genitalia allow placing aconcagua fessa rindge in the synonymy of aconcagua parva (butler) comb. nov. all species and their genitalia and distribution are described and illustrated. a key for species of hasodima is provided. the monophyly of the genera and its relationships to the allied taxa are briefly discussed.

Abstract: crustaceans associated with macroalgae were collected for one year by scuba diving in bajo pepito, isla mujeres, mexican caribbean. a total of 148 organisms were found: three orders, 11 families, 18 genera and 19 species in nine types of associations. the order with highest abundance was isopoda (112), followed by amphipoda (20) and decapoda (16).

Abstract: We argue that there are intrinsic difficulties in using the Subject Assessment Guidelines for Mathematics (SAGM) for evaluating the standard of a South African matriculation mathematics examination and for determining how it aligns with the curriculum. Our argument has two prongs. First, the SAGM taxonomy conflates cognitive level with type of mathematical activity; we contend that such a conflation leads to problems in assessing the complexity of the examination item. Second, the SAGM taxonomy provides no space for important mathematical activities such as justification and conjecturing despite the promotion of these activities in key curriculum documents (Department of Education, 2003). This absence may obscure weak alignment of the examination and the curriculum. These arguments are illustrated through examples taken from the 2008 Department of Education (DOE) and Independent Examination Board (IEB) Grade 12 Mathematics examination papers. We also examine other well‐known taxonomies in order to discern those aspects of a taxonomy which may be useful for evaluation and alignment. We conclude with the construction of a matrix that could provide an appropriate taxonomy for the South African matriculation Mathematics examination. It has activities on one axis and levels of complexity on the other.

Abstract: With the broke out of Enron and the occurrence of other series of financial frauds, countries all over the world have paid more attention to corporate internal control management. This paper introduces current situation of internal control report of China’s listed companies and the development of XBRL and analyzes the advantage and feasibility of using XBRL as a disclosure measure of internal control report. Finally, we suggest setting up China’s XBRL taxonomy about internal control report, which is the core and contribution of this article.

Abstract: XBRL (eXtensible Business Reporting Language) as an application of XML (eXtensible Markup Language) technology in the field of business reporting, uses information technology to add tags for the financial reporting metadata, to achieve unstructured data processing effectively. At first, this paper analyzes the XBRL technology framework, finds out the concepts and relationships between them, and accordingly designs the XBRL domain ontology model, then based on the model we have proposed, we choose OWL DL ontology description language and Protégé3.4, take balance sheet as an example, and apply the XBRL ontology model to balance sheet to construct the taxonomy and instance, and thereby achieve the implementation of XBRL domain ontology construction. XBRL needs the integration of the accounting, engineering, computer, management and other disciplines, and the future research should be committed to solve the lack of semantic and reasoning mechanism to implement the further promotion and application of XBRL financial reporting.

Abstract: A study of pollen morphology, in species of the genera Bauhinia and Phanera (Leguminosae-Caesalpinioideae) which occur in the Brazilian caatinga, is presented. The pollen was examined using light and scanning electron microscopy. Samples were prepared by the KOH method; non-treated pollen grains were examined by scanning electron microscopy. Pollen grains in Bauhinia species (11) are colpate, but porate in B. cheilantha and B. subclavata. All four species of Phanera present colporate pollen grains; P. outimouta is the only to have syncolporate pollen grains. Species of both genera present heteromorphism in the number of apertures. Excepting P. outimouta whose pollen grains are psilate, all species in the two genera present supratectal processes (gemmae/clavae), however the exine in the two genera are dif- ferent–semitectate, reticulate in Bauhinia species, and tectate, rugulate (or psilate) in Phanera ones. Pollen characters support the segregation of Phanera from Bauhinia.

Abstract: Environmentally Responsible Manufacturing (ERM) is a proactive managerial approach encompassing a company’s effort to integrate environmental practices into decision-making processes. The ERM body of knowledge is very diverse and has been shaped by research in numerous inter-disciplinary areas. In the formative years of the ERM paradigm, this diversity kept researchers from developing a thorough understanding of the status of research within the ERM field, and the more recent proliferation of information has also contributed to a lack of understanding. One method of developing a mastery and familiarity with this body of knowledge is to develop a taxonomy within which the literature can be framed. This is the major objective of the paper. We examine the literature to identify early major dimensions of the taxonomy and discuss how these dimensions have evolved. The major contribution of this approach is that it helps researchers develop a familiarity with the major themes found in a body of knowledge spanning multiple decades. With such a familiarity, scholars can effectively build on and extend the current body of knowledge. For the purposes of this paper, over 10,000 scholarly articles, governmental publications, web-based publications, and books and were examined.

Abstract: both sexes of a new phlebotomine sandfly species micropygomyia (sauromyia) vonatzingeni sp. nov. (diptera, psychodidae), captured in the serra das andorinhas, s?o geraldo do araguaia municipality, pará state, and cavalcante municipality, tocantins state, brazil, are described and illustrated. this new species belongs to the oswaldoi series and its distinction from the other extant species of the series was made by male and female identification keys. the specific geographical distribution of the oswaldoi series by country and department (or state) is presented.
