Angelcos Gutiérrez,Nicolás;
Polis (Santiago) , 2012, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-65682012000100002
Abstract: this article seeks to examine the ways and mechanisms adoptedby the processes of politicization in the popular sectors in chile. to this end, weanalyze the case of the housing committee "mpl-franklin" created weeks afterthe last earthquake of february 27, 2010. the thesis developed concerns the needto problematize the relationship between individual subjectivity and collectivesubjectivity to understand the politicization of demands, instrumental at first, whichcoordinate the movement. the concept of "political affection" is used to rebuildthe link between the struggle for housing and the individual trajectories of thecommittee members. the research questions are: how the politicization of certainindividuals in a social environment where passivity reigns can be explained?; howcan we understand the affection of some individuals in politics, in a setting ofgeneral disaffection?.
Emotion as consumption: Subjectification and Assemblages
Giusti, Viviane,Neves, Marlene,Domènech, Miquel
Athenea Digital , 2008,
Abstract: n this article we argue that the concept of emotion has mutated into mere consumption, and we explore the processes of subjectification involved. We start by outlining the transformation of an industrial society into a post-industrial one. We then show the usefulness of Deleuze and Guattari’s concept of ‘assemblage’, insofar as it problematizes the material, social and semiotic aspects involved
Aisthesis , 2012, DOI: 10.4067/S0718-71812012000100011
Abstract: the problem of desire in the literature of gilles deleuze may be understood from two distinct perspectives. on the one hand, we have the bio-political interpretation of desire, from which the techniques of subjection have developed, while on the other, there is the construction of desire as an autonomous and creative reality that tends toward its own subjectification. the narrative of maría luisa bombal is situated precisely at the crossroads between these two perspectives. her novels and stories confront the dilemma of how to articulate feminine desire, in which the already rigid silence becomes even more unyielding in the presence of a subjective agency.
Lacerda, Patrícia Fabiane Amaral da Cunha;
Alfa : Revista de Linguística (S?o José do Rio Preto) , 2012, DOI: 10.1590/S1981-57942012000100008
Abstract: from the perspective of construction grammaticalization (traugott, 2003, 2009), this paper analyzes the multifunctionality of the portuguese adverb realmente (really) by characterizing its different usages and defining the way its constructional network would be built up. based on a panchronic analysis, which used corpora between the 13th century and the contemporary portuguese, it is shown that this adverb multifunctionality reveals a grammaticalization cline on which an extension of usage in more subjective contexts is attested. it is thus considered that grammaticalization is a process of subjectification in which constructions change from expressing concrete/lexical/objective meanings to expressing - based on the reiteration of their usage patterns - abstract/pragmatic/interpersonal functions that code speakers' beliefs (traugott, 1995, 2010; traugott; dasher, 2005). the study results indicate that realmente is used as an epistemic marker for factual and subjective evidence and is grammaticalized from a factual to a subjective usage.
Gavarini, Laurence;
Fractal : Revista de Psicologia , 2009, DOI: 10.1590/S1984-02922009000300003
Abstract: in connection with "copsy-enfant" (french national agency for research, 2006-2009), our recent research on the construction of gender and generational identity among teenagers, we set up seven discussion groups for middle and high school students in a working-class neighborhood of metropolitan paris. the purpose of this article is to situate our research within the context of today's interrogations on adolescence. such groups provided for the teenagers who requested them, a space within the school reducing the gap between their pupil's status and their teenager's being subject. in this paper, we speak about the structuration of these groups whose orientation was psychoanalytic. we address the containing function and the social bonds that such groups provided for the teenagers.
A cena: lan?ando sombra sobre o real
Crapanzano, Vincent;
Mana , 2005, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-93132005000200002
Abstract: the paper explores the relationship between what we take to be objective or paramount reality and, roughly, its subjectification: a shadowy world, edging on the imaginative, which i call the scene. i suggest that the two "realities" are mutually implicated. i argue that insofar as we respond to (as we create) these scenes that color our experiences of objective reality, they demand anthropological consideration. i stress the intersubjective nature of subjectivity itself and offer a preliminary attempt at understanding the complex interlocutory dramas, occurring in ritual, for example, or psychoanalysis, that constitute the scene.
Nardi, Henrique Caetano;
Psicologia & Sociedade , 2003, DOI: 10.1590/S0102-71822003000100004
Abstract: this article discusses the contribution of the concept of social property (castel, 1998; 2000) for understanding contemporary modes of subjectification. the genealogy of a salaried society proposed by the author allows us to take social propriety as support for existence and as a guarantee of egalitarian rights. the transformations of the modes of subjectification that are associated with the new model of capitalistic accumulation has reinstalled inequality and insecurity as forms of revitalization of competition as a central value in liberal society. in this text we use castel's comprehensive model in order to analyse the corresponding modes of social propriety in brazilian history and their impact on the relationship between work and the modes of subjectification.

Abstract: This paper explores the grammaticalization of the verbal particle maai in Cantonese. Originally a verb of movement meaning ‘approach/get close to’ a reference point, maai has undergone grammaticalization to become a directional particle meaning ‘towards’. It then developed into an additive quantifier meaning ‘also/as well’, and has further been reinterpreted as an evaluative marker, marking the speaker’s negative evaluation of the object of the verb to which maai is suffixed. A number of pragmatic processes are involved in maai’s grammaticalization, in particular pragmatic inferencing and subjectification. The evolutionary pathway ‘addition’ > ‘subjective evaluation’ is attested by historical data and is also supported by cross-linguistic evidence.
Mudan a genolexical : teoria e realidade

Linguística : Revista de Estudos Linguísticos da Universidade do Porto , 2008,
Abstract: Theories and typologies of change need to be supported and validated by historical evidence which can establish the changes that effectively occurred. Sequentialist theories of change encounter difficulties in accommodating the vast number of factors that determine the changes suffered by the value of linguistic units. An analysis of the semantic changes suffered by –eirreveals the need for a theoretical framework which does not dichotomize lexicalization and grammaticalization, but which takes into account factors such as subjectivization and pragmatization, which after all coexist with the other ones
Mehr als nur diskursive Praxis? – Konzeptionelle Grundlagen und methodische Aspekte der Dispositivanalyse More Than Just a Discursive Practice?

Forum : Qualitative Social Research , 2007,
URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs0702281 This article gives an introduction into the conceptual and practical field of dispositf analysis—a field that is of great importance but that is as yet underdeveloped. In order to render this introduction, we first explain the terms discourse and dispositif. Then we examine the conceptual instruments and methodological procedures of dispositf analysis. In this way, we define the relations between discourse and (a) non discoursive practices (b) subjectification, (c) everyday orders of knowledge and (d) institutional practices like societal changes as central issues of dispositif analysis. Furthermore, we point out the methodological possibilities and limitations of dispositif analysis. We demonstrate these possibilities and limitations with some practical examples. In general, this article aims to provide an extension of the perspectives of discourse theory and research by stressing the relations between normative orders of knowledge, their effects on interactions and individual self–reflections connected with them.
