Student’s Dynamics of Didactic Competence during the “Internship of Preparation for Professional Life” in Physical Education and Sports. Evolution of Pre and Post Active Planning  [PDF]

Abstract:

This study encourages decision making in the field of university training of Physical Education and Sports teachers. It consists in observing and analysing the evolution of pre and post active planning of intern students and identifying their didactic competence during the internship period. Following a qualitative approach a corpus of seventy-two documents prepared by six intern students at the Higher Institute of Sports and Physical Education (ISSEP) in Kef was analyzed. The analysis of these document is based on “guiding questions” constructed from the normative didactic. The analysis of the data allowed inferences about the didactic competence observed. Case analysis and multi-case analysis revealed a static trend in the evolution of specific competence in planning. The appearance of recurrent difficulties in some specific competence reveals the thesis of a “survival strategy” developed by intern students. The in-depth analysis of the preparations also revealed an ineluctable effect of “pedagogy by objectives” on the logic and nature of planning and balance sheets of lessons developed. In addition, the study refutes the hypothesis of the suspected effect of the internal logic of sports activities on the nature of planning and unveils a “traditional” conception of teaching physical education.

Abstract: this research has as purpose to obtain information about the professional abilities of the students who graduated in a spanish university. this empirical analysis has been carried out on a simple of students who graduated at the university of la coru?a. along the analysis the author took into consideration all the cases in which the students graduated by competence affinity. this decision allowed to achieve significant results and to observe the differences in the way cross competences and the main items are assessed. the author achieved interesting conclusions about the professional activities by gender, the impact on life at work, the occupational structure of the graduated students and the most significant wages. it was also possible to observe that the competences that graduated students think they own, thanks to their training process, are very valuable to them.

Abstract: the purpose of this study was to analyze how are configured the management competences, required and effectives, of nurses who work in a private hospital in belo horizonte-mg, according to the perception of nurses and other nursing categories professionals. in this field research, a descriptive one, with a quantitative approach, data were collected through a documentary survey and interviews and submitted, respectively, to documental and content analysis. taking into consideration the several data sources that were utilized, it was observed that the different roles and competences are required and effectively performed by the nurses, leading to further questions related to their management competences. limitations of the study were pointed as well as suggestions for further researches.

Abstract: the text analyses the professional education reform occurring in brazil since 1977, based on decree no 2.208 and on the brazilian curricular directives and references for the professional education of technical teachers, from two viewpoints: the first one regards the pressure the notion competence exerts on the term of qualification, pointing out the weakening of both its social dimension and political contents. the second one discusses the epistemological, educational and methodological limits of the curricular directives for the professional education based on competence. it highlights inconsistencies between the official speech and its real orientations, presenting the materialist-dialectical point of view as an alternative.

Abstract: the xxi century faces librarians with great challenges, as a consequence of the development of new technologies and their incorporation to different scenarios where information takes forms beyond the traditional products and services of a library. the changes that have characterized the transit towards a different paradigm for the scientific information activity are approached. an analysis is made of the need of developing new abilities and knowledge among librarians, as part of a process of informational literacy. the differences between the traditional librarian model and the model of the management librarian are stated, and some of the professional competences librarians should develop to deal with the new functions imposed to them by the information society are established.

Se repasan, en primer lugar, los conceptos de alfabetización informativa, competencia y normalización para pasar a proponer, a continuación, una metodología que permita elaborar normas técnicas de competencia en información. The article begins by reviewing the concepts of information literacy, competence and standards, leading to a proposal for a methodology that would permit the creation of technical competence standards in information.
