Abstract: The new insurance law has been implemented for a long time, but it is still disputed frequently for the application of standard insurance clause. We can see this from many cases, e.g. the Sued People’s Insurance Company of China LLC, Jinyun Branch office Insurance contract Dispute Case by Li Shangzhi. This paper is trying to take the standard insurance clause as the beginning point to briefly analyze the reason for the terms’ understanding differences and to study their unfavorable interpretation principle through comparing the provisions’ samples in the old and new insurance law, which can be looked forward to providing some ideas for their corresponding practice.
Investigation of Effects of Large Dielectric Constants on Triaxial Induction Logs  [PDF]

Abstract: The dielectric effect is receiving increasing interest in the study of resistivity logging. Several recent findings have proven that the dielectric effect can cause negative imaginary signals on the array induction logging. However, very few researches discuss the dielectric effect on the triaxial induction logging which is a novel technology in solving anisotropy problem. In this paper, we investigate the effect of large dielectric constants on a basic triaxial induction tool in a 1-D homogenous earth formation. The simulation model is derived from Maxwell equation and calculated by wave number integration. Sufficient simulations have been done. We performed an asymptotic analysis of the dielectric effect within the low-freq limit, yielding interesting observations on the dielectric effect with respect to frequency, spacing, and anisotropy. Those findings provide important and useful guidance for researchers to study on the dielectric effect on the triaxial induction logging.

We introduce a new approach in dealing with pattern recognition issue. Recognizing a pattern is definitely not the exploration of a new discovery but rather the search for already known patterns. In reading for example the same text written in a hand writing, letters can appear in different shapes. Still, the text decoding corresponds with interpreting the large variety of hand writings shapes with fonts. Quantum mechanics also offer a kind of interpretation tool. Although, with the superposition principle it is possible to compose an infinite number of states, yet, an observer by conducting a measurement reduces the number of observed states into the predetermined basis states. Not only that any state collapses into one of the basis states, quantum mechanics also possesses a kind of correction mechanism in a sense that if the measured state is close enough to one of the basis states, it will collapse with high probability into this predetermined state. Thus, we can consider the collapse mechanism as a reliable way for the observer to interpret reality into his frame of concepts. Both interpretation ideas, pattern recognition and quantum measurement are integrated in this paper to formulate a quantum pattern recognition measuring procedure.

We present a complete interpretation theory in the following sense: we observe that each measuring device represents a concept set (such as the set of locations) while the measurement activity associates the measured object with an appropriate member from the concepts set. In that sense, the measurement process is the only interpretation of reality. In this article, we deal with the evolution of this interpreting measuring device for a 2-d Hilbert space. It is shown that nonlinear recursive maps give rise to a unique projective operator accompanied with the collapse ability and consequently to a measuring device. Our formalism can be easily interpreted as a single brain signal.

Abstract: Objectives: It is often stressed that anxiety alters perceptions of the world by way of processes like the rapid detection of threats and the exaggeration of risks. Given that these processes are active during all information processing, they are thought to influence not only the interpretation of current events, but also the recall of past events. In patient’s anamnesis, we have often attempted to incorporate the events that patients recollect into our functional explanation of their disorder, forgetting that the meaning of what a patient relates may be intrinsically linked to his/her pathology and pathological functioning. We are interested here in potential biases in the events remembered by anxious patients. Methods: We contacted twenty-seven men aged 25 or older suffering from generalized anxiety disorder. They were asked to recollect childhood events from cue words and then rate each remembered event on its subjective emotional valence and intensity, its frequency of recollection, and the vividness of the memory. The responses of the anxious subjects were compared to those of control subjects without psychiatric disorders. Results: Findings seem to show that anxious patients’ memories of childhood events may be impaired by emotional interpretation biases. Indeed, anxious patients remember more negative events than participants in the control group. The emotional intensity of negative or positive events remembered by anxious patients is also considered more important.
Macroscopic Violation of Duality Generated on a Laser Beam  [PDF]

It is shown theoretically and experimentally that passage of a laser beam through particular conventional Ronchi gratings prepares the beam in an altered state that violates quantum duality. The violation is characterized by a readily measured net transfer of energy between the prepared beam and an unmodified beam from a similar, independent laser. Notably, the experiment is conducted with the beams at macroscopic power levels where measurability of the duality-violating transfer is vastly improved over that of the discrete photon regime. These results are consistent with other recently reported experiments that have challenged the validity of the duality-related principle of complementarity.

In Christianity evangelization entails bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ into all the strata of humanity from within and making it new. Evangelization efforts in Nigeria have been going on for more than a century. Indeed it has made a noticeable inroad of growth. The evidence is seen. Thunderous sounds are heard from all corners of villages and cities, of Christian church activities; series of strategies are explored by multitude of Christian denominations aimed at “packaging and selling out” one’s denomination to attract more adherents; imposing and well architectural-designed structures of Christian places of worship are seen in many cities. Yet in the same society, all forms of atrocities and abominations of man’s inhumanity to man, lack of basic Christian virtues of honesty, justice, and respect for sacredness of human life are witnessed. In the light of the foregoing, this paper seeks both to presume the general shallowness of Christian faith in Nigeria and to blame it to flaw in the understanding of the Bible as a Christian text. It critically analyzes the three Christian concepts: Bible interpretation, evangelization and faith, exposing their interrelatedness and the challenges posed by such reality to an authentic Christian living.

Abstract: Publicly available seismic and well data are used to study the subsurface structure and stratigraphy of an area on the southern margin of the Central Indus Basin (CIB), Pakistan. Study area includes southern parts of the Punjab Platform and Sulaiman Foredeep tectonic units of the CIB. A regional scale East-West depth cross-section is prepared in South of hydrocarbon bearing Safed Koh Trend to Punjab Platform. It gives the structural configuration of various formations of Paleozoic-Cenozoic times. Reflectors are marked and correlated with the help of wells Drigri-01 and Bahawalpur East-01, located on seismic lines 914-RPR-03 and 916-YZM-05 respectively. These reflectors/formations are correlated with respect to ages to avoid the confusions as there are many truncations in the area. Average velocities are used for the depth computation. Depth cross-section (AB) shows that Punjab Monocline is a stable area with a shallow basement. In Punjab Platform all the formations dip gently to the West. Then they attain steep dips in the Sulaiman Foredeep/Depression area. Depth cross-section along the Drigri anticline which lies in the SE of Sakhi Sarwar anticline reveals that it is extended E-W over 17 km approx. and the reverse faults are present on both flanks of a fold, due to that a pop up structure is formed. It’s a low amplitude fold, as it marks the southern end of Safed Koh Trend (first line of folding of the folded flank of Sub-Sulaiman Fore Deep). Subsurface structural variations at Bahawalpur show a buried high of Jurassic-Permian age. A sedimentary cover is 9 km thick in West and 3 m thick in East. Basement is uplifted at Bahawalpur High.

Abstract: For the past forty years, the study of the unearthed bamboo medical books has always been a very valid concern and many important achievements have yet been achieved. However, the lack of standard handwriting in addition to seriously being destroyed when unearthed, it’s not that easy to read them. The purpose of this article is to sort through and correct some commonly occurred interpretation mistakes from the previous studies.
