Biao Luo, Shan-Shan Zheng, Hong-Mei Ji, Chao Gong
Journal of Service Science and Management (JSSM) , 2012, DOI: 10.4236/jssm.2012.53035
Abstract: Effective compensation contract is the most driving force that encourages the operator of the firm to work hard. This article, considering the ability of the operator, built a model of compensation contract with some explanatory variables, such as effort level and risk attitude of the operator, coefficient of input flexibility, and coefficient of discount. Then, it tried to use the principal-agent theory to solve the model of explicit function, and analyzed the model based on material incentive and non-material incentive in the mechanism of profit sharing; the conclusion had important practical significance for the firm to implement the performance management.

Abstract: starch is a promissory polymer to biodegradable films development for replacement traditional package materials due to it′s cheap, highly available and comes from natural resources. however, films made with starch only has limitations like poor mechanical properties, high vapor water permeability, retrogradation tendency, high rigidity, brittle, and others when compared to traditional synthetic films. to avoid these limitations is necessary to mix and blend starch with other substances with the aim of create filmogenic formulations and films like the synthetic ones. below is a review made from patents and scientific articles complemented in which are listed more common components used for biodegradable starch-based films manufacturing and main processing methods.
Levels of Selected Heavy Metals in Food Packaging Papers and Paperboards Used in India  [PDF]
Swati Sood, Chhaya Sharma
Journal of Environmental Protection (JEP) , 2019, DOI: 10.4236/jep.2019.103021
Abstract: In the present study, the varieties of papers and paperboards (PPBs) used in India for food packaging were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed for the heavy metal contamination with the help of ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry). Total 10 different types of food packaging PPBs were procured from local market and analyzed for 14 heavy metals (Al, As, B, Ba, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mn, Ni, Pb, Te, Ti and V). Quantities of heavy metals in the samples were compared with permitted values published by the European Council. Heavy metals like Al, As, Ba, Cr, Co, Ni, Pb and V were observed in more than the permitted concentration in some of the samples. Heavy metals toxicity in food packaging material is a serious concern as the edible items get exposed to these metals and also generate volatile odorous compounds which considerably impact the quality of food and affect consumer's health.
Vigilancia como herramienta de innovación y desarrollo tecnológico: Caso de aplicación: Sector de empaques plásticos flexibles
Vargas,Freddy; Castellanos,Oscar;
Ingeniería e Investigación , 2005,
Abstract: the demand for production process efficiency and quality has made it necessary to resort to new tools for development and technological innovation. surveillance of the environment has thus bee identified as being a priority, paying special attention to technology which (by its changing nature) is a key factor in competitiveness. surveillance is a routine activity in developed countries? organisations; however, few suitable studies have been carried out in colombia and few instruments produced for applying it to existing sectors of the economy. the present article attempts to define a methodology for technological awareness (based on transforming the information contained in databases) by means of constructing technological maps contributing useful knowledge to production processes. this methodology has been applied to the flexible plastic packaging sector. the main trends in this industry?s technological development were identified allowing strategies to be proposed for incorporating these advances and tendencies in national companies and research groups involved in flexible plastic packaging technological development and innovation. technological mapping?s possibilities as an important instrument for producing technological development in a given sector are then analysed as are their possibilities for being used in other production processes.

Soares, Eufemia P.;Nunes, Edilene de Cássia D.;Saiki, Mitiko;Wiebeck, Hélio;
Polímeros , 2002, DOI: 10.1590/S0104-14282002000300014
Abstract: this paper presents analytical results of metallized plastic materials obtained by neutron activation analysis (naa) and the results of identification of polymers by infrared spectroscopy (ir) and differential scanning calorimetry (dsc). metallized plastic samples were collected from packages of foodstuffs and cosmetics. results of ir and dsc tests indicated that polyethylene, polypropylene, poly(ethylene terephthalate) and polystyrene are polymers used in metallized plastics. the naa consisted of irradiating samples and standards with thermal neutron flux of the iea-r1 nuclear reactor, followed by induced gamma ray activities measurements using a hyperpure germanium detector coupled to a gamma ray spectrometer. toxic elements such as arsenic, cadmium, chromium, nickel, and antimony as well as non-toxic elements as barium, calcium, cobalt, iron, scandium, selenium and zinc were determined and their concentrations presented a large variability between the samples. the analyses of polymer and toxic elements are of great interest to develop adequate and safe processes for recycling or incineration of metallized plastic packages without causing damage to the environment.

Study of the Instant Incentive Mechanism for Zero-Time Enterprise  [PDF]
Yang Hu, Xinrong Yang
Journal of Service Science and Management (JSSM) , 2010, DOI: 10.4236/jssm.2010.31016
Abstract: The zero-time enterprise’s mission is response to the market and customer needs in “zero time” in order to gain more customers and competitive advantages. To realize zero-time response to market and customers, it should inspire the employees’ work enthusiasm and creativity, so that they can do their work conscientiously to ensure quick and smooth going. This paper discussed how to establish an effective instant incentive mechanism for zero-time enterprise, which is a problem of rich practical significance. Firstly, based on the briefly explanation of zero-time enterprise, it analyzed the characteristics and principles of zero-time enterprise; and then elaborated the important roles of instant incentive. Finally, it proposed the basic contents of instant incentive and the “Trine” realization mechanism.

Modern Economy (ME) , 2016, DOI: 10.4236/me.2016.73028
Abstract: Equities incentive is more and more frequently used for motivating management among Chinese listed companies, but whether it will degrade informativeness of stock price, thus reduce the efficiency of capital allocation in security market remains to be verified. This article used the data of A-share listed companies in China from 2010-2014, deployed an empirical research to study the relationship between equities incentive and informativeness of stock price, considering earnings management as an intermediary variable. According to the analysis results, we found that higher level of equities incentive tended to degrade the level of informativeness of stock price, and the earnings management was not an effective intermediary variable, which meant the earnings management resulted from equities incentive was less likely to affect informativeness of stock price.
